Chapter 485 494: Annihilating the Ouyang Family (Part 1)

  • Next Chapter

"Ye Tian, oh, Ye Tian. You really made us look for you. Hiding here for your Cultivation... Do you really think the Ouyang Family can't do anything to you?" Ouyang Hu said, now standing before Ye Tian.

Ye Tian glanced at him and said, "You're slow. I've been waiting for a long time. The Ouyang Family isn't all that special after all."

Ouyang Hu's heart blazed with anger at Ye Tian's words. "Brat, you dare speak so arrogantly when you're about to die? Today is the day you meet your end."

He immediately struck out at Ye Tian with his palm. A massive Palm Shadow instantly appeared in the air. Sand and stones flew, and the entire sky seemed to darken.

Ouyang Hu was a Seven Vein Realm expert, and his strength ranked among the top five in the Ouyang Clan.

"Not bad. You have a little bit of strength, but it's far from enough!" Ye Tian retorted.

He then jabbed a finger forward, unleashing his Desolate Heaven-Imprisoning Finger. A colossal finger shadow descended from the sky.

BOOM! A thunderous explosion echoed from the mountaintop. The collision of terrifying Energy formed powerful storms that spread in all directions.

Half of the entire mountaintop was obliterated by the Energy storm. Both men retreated several dozen steps in unison before steadying themselves.

Ye Tian felt a numbness in his fingertip, while Ouyang Hu's palm stung with sharp pain.

"No wonder... No wonder you could kill Ouyang Yeyu. You actually possess the strength of the Seven Veins.

The more of a genius you are, the more I enjoy killing you. You won't be leaving this place today," Ouyang Hu declared.

A silver-white Longsword then appeared in his palm. A cold glint flashed from its blade, marking it as no ordinary weapon.

"If I want to leave, no one can stop me. The one who dies today will be you!" Ye Tian said.

His body began to tremble slowly, followed by a series of strange sounds.

Just as Ouyang Hu was about to attack, he was startled by the sight of Ye Tian before him.

The Ye Tian of this moment could no longer be considered human. His entire body was covered in Scale Armor—or to be more precise, Dragon Scale.

He had also grown much taller in an instant, and an aura so suffocating it could steal one's breath radiated from him.

"Eight Veins? How is that possible?" Ouyang Hu was momentarily stunned, clearly sensing Ye Tian's terrifying strength.

'I've only ever witnessed such power from our current Patriarch. How can a young brat like Ye Tian possess such immense strength?'

'And what's with the Scale Armor on his body? Could he be some kind of monster?'

"Everyone who has seen me like this is dead. You will be no exception. You should feel honored," Ye Tian said.

"Die!" Ouyang Hu seized the initiative, his Longsword tracing a flowery arc as he swiftly chopped at Ye Tian.

The flourish of his blade instantly transformed into several streams of Sword Qi. The surrounding space trembled violently, threatening to be torn asunder by the Sword Qi at any moment.

"An attack like that will have trouble even breaking my defense," Ye Tian said.

Then, his figure flashed as he charged straight forward, his body making direct contact with the Sword Qi.

The Sword Qi struck him, only managing to slow his advance for a moment before dissipating completely.

In the next instant, Ye Tian was in front of Ouyang Hu, his hand clamped around his neck.

"Well? Do you see how foolish you were now? There's a price to pay for trying to claim all the glory for yourself," Ye Tian said with a smile.

"Don't... don't kill me!" Ouyang Hu said with difficulty.

At this moment, his heart was filled with panic and fear, but most of all, regret.

'I should have sent a signal to the clan the moment I saw him.'

'I never would have dreamed that Ye Tian was so powerful—that he actually had the strength of Eight Veins. He hid it too well.'

'And the defense of that Scale Armor on his body is even more terrifying.'

"Only the dead can keep secrets. Don't worry, plenty of people will be coming down to join you," Ye Tian said.

With a slight squeeze of his hand, he crushed Ouyang Hu's neck. Ouyang Hu died, filled with indignation and regret.

After casually tossing Ouyang Hu's corpse aside, Ye Tian's figure flashed as he charged toward the other members of the Ouyang Clan.

He had to cut the weeds and pull up the roots. Although he was very strong now, he wasn't arrogant enough to think he could take on the entire Ouyang Clan.

The time he could spend in his transformed state was limited. Moreover, having just broken through to the Eight Veins, he still needed to consolidate his Realm.

A moment later, all the men Ouyang Hu had brought with him had been slain.

"Eight Veins still isn't enough. I wonder when I'll be able to break through to the Twelfth Vein," Ye Tian muttered to himself.

If anyone else had heard Ye Tian's words, they would have surely thought him a madman.

The strongest expert the continent had ever known had only managed to open the Eleventh Vein. For him to think of breaking through to the Twelfth Vein was simply impossible.

After a quick glance around, Ye Tian's figure flickered and he was gone.

There were still a few days left before he had to go to the Celestial Dragon Garden. For the past few days, the Ouyang Family had been searching for him everywhere.

'Do they really think I, Ye Tian, am a pushover? Then I'll let everyone know the price for offending me,' Ye Tian thought to himself.

He had already made up his mind. If the Ouyang Family wanted to kill him, then he would annihilate the Ouyang Family completely.

So what if they were a great clan? In the face of overwhelming strength, they were nothing but clay chickens and pottery dogs.

After breaking through to a new Realm, one needed to consolidate it, and real combat was the most effective method.

Ye Tian went straight to the Imperial City. The moment he appeared, he was spotted by members of the Ouyang Family.

The entire Imperial City was thrown into chaos. Ye Tian, however, leisurely entered a restaurant.

He ordered a few small dishes and a pot of wine, and began to eat and drink at a relaxed pace.

"Ye Tian, you've got some serious nerve, still in the mood for a drink here," an Elder from the Ouyang Family snarled, arriving at the restaurant with his men.

Ye Tian ignored him and continued to eat his food and drink his wine.

This act thoroughly infuriated the Elder. He had seen arrogance before, but never on this level.

"Men, seize him! I don't care if he's alive or dead!" the Elder roared.

At his command, several men rushed toward Ye Tian.

"Can't you just let me eat in peace? Your Ouyang Family is like a pack of mad dogs, biting everyone in sight. It's just one Ouyang Yeyu who died.

A piece of trash like that is dead, so what? Making such a big fuss over it is truly pathetic," Ye Tian said with a laugh.

Just then, a disciple of the Ouyang Clan slashed directly at Ye Tian with his sword.

This person was at the Four Veins Third Layer, nothing more than an ant in Ye Tian's eyes.

With a wave of his hand, he caught the incoming Longsword.

With a slight exertion of force, the Longsword shattered into several pieces, which then shot into the attacker's body.

To kill a disciple of the Four Veins Third Layer in the blink of an eye—such strength was truly terrifying.

"All of you deserve to die!" Ye Tian said, rising to his feet.

His figure flashed, leaving behind an afterimage as he began to attack the men.

A few breaths later, everyone was dead except for the Ouyang Family Elder.

That Elder was named Ouyang Lang. His strength was the weakest among the Ouyang Clan's Elders, at the Six Veins Fifth Layer, roughly on par with Ouyang Yeyu.

"Ye Tian, you can't kill me! If you let me go, I'll ensure you can leave the Imperial City safely," Ouyang Lang pleaded.

"I'll be just as safe after I kill everyone from your Ouyang Family! Now you can die!" Ye Tian replied.

He jabbed a finger forward again. His Desolate Heaven-Imprisoning Finger was now even more powerful.

After a sound of something tearing through the air, a bloody hole appeared in Ouyang Lang's chest, and he collapsed to the ground.

However, as he fell, he crushed the Communication Jade Token in his hand—his final, greatest contribution to his clan before death.

Ye Tian, however, was unconcerned. He returned to his seat and continued to slowly sip his wine.

Meanwhile, the other patrons in the restaurant were all dumbfounded. That someone dared to kill members of the Ouyang Family and remain so calm... This man was truly terrifying.

Just then, the members of the Ouyang Family who detected Ouyang Lang's signal began rushing toward the restaurant.
