Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3358 Lesson Continued

Chapter 3358 Lesson Continued

The nearly yellow bird produced an incredible heat in the

surroundings as it flew toward the dragon.

Immediately, Waystorm used a skill to cover her body with water and then used that to create a water dragon that flew toward the bird. It struck the small bird entirely, as if devouring it whole. As soon as it devoured the bird, the dragon began freezing up as the entire thing solidified.

Even as it did, a part of it started melting and then steaming as a tiny flame surfaced through the frozen dragon. The bird climbed its way out of the frozen dragon before continuing its flight toward Waystorm.

Waystorm frantically tried to do something to stop the bird, but it appeared to be too late. Just before it hit her, however, the bird vanished. The dragon stood with ragged breaths as she had been nearly sure that she was going to get hit.

She looked toward the family head, but he hadn’t done anything.

It was Alex who had extinguished the fire bird at the last moment.

While everyone was naturally surprised at how easily Alex had overpowered Waystorm’s attack with a single fire bird, none were more surprised than Alex himself. He hadn’t even gained Sun Fire just yet, and the flame was already burning hotter than anything else he had ever encountered.

Not to mention, there was something else going on. He almost

believed that his overall strength, which should have been around the Immortal Spirit 2nd realm when he was only using his Qi, was now at least a realm higher.

It was as if…

‘My strength is stronger than before,’ Alex thought. ‘Is it because my body grew to the God grade?”

Now that he thought about it, back when he had gone from the Divine grade body to the Celestial grade, his overall battle power had grown from 7 to 9 as well. And this time around, it seemed to have grown from a battle power of 9 to at least 10.

It was a little impossible to tell just yet if it was higher than that or not, but Alex could be certain that it was at least 10. Which meant that he was about as strong as Pearl now, even when he used the mark on his forehead.

Which meant that an Immortal Transcendent 6th realm dragon was currently fighting against someone whose cultivation base was equivalent to that of an Immortal Spirit 3rd realm cultivator.

And not just anyone, but someone who had grown near to learning

the hottest flame in the entirety of the world.

Alex quickly grabbed a hold of himself and smiled. “Did you expect me to use fire just then?” he asked.

The dragon slowly shook her head.

“And that’s what I mean about a human being unpredictable,” he explained. “Unlike a beast, you can’t just look at them or know about their species and know what sort of spirit roots they have or what sort of techniques they use. Humans rarely pass along their bloodlines to their children. Rarely is anyone born with inherent techniques. Even their spirit roots are never the same from parents to children. As such, each person is unique, their techniques unique.”

“Where knowing the species of a beast would be enough to learn a majority of the information about them, you cannot discern anything about a human from looking at them, even if they are siblings.”

“If we were to have fought seriously, you might have believed that I had only Water and Yin roots and fallen for my deceit before dying to my fire.”

The dragon slowly nodded.

“If you don’t mind, would you please return to your seat and let

someone else take your place?” Alex asked.

The dragon said nothing. She simply bowed and moved back to her seat. The family head looked around and chose someone from the

stands.

As the dragon came to the stage, Alex barely managed to tell that it was a male dragon and not a female one.

“I am Deathrime,” the dragon said. “Please enlighten us on the second thing we should be wary of when fighting a human.”

Alex raised his eyebrows. “I haven’t finished with the first one though.”

The dragon blinked. “But we understand that we cannot underestimate any humans. Each one is different, and thus we must be prepared for them all.”

Alex quickly judged the dragon’s cultivation base and realized that it was slightly stronger than the previous one, in the Immortal

Transcendent 8th realm.

“If you understand it, then why don’t we test out the theory?” Alex asked. “Try and see if you can attack me.”

The dragon had no qualms about attacking, so it didn’t even bother to put up a facade of not wanting to do so. The moment Alex said as

much, he warned him a second before launching the attack.

Thin strings of ice formed around the dragon’s talons, like four long whips that he swung around.

Alex immediately reacted, using a golden shield to block the attacks from the frost silk.

The dragon was slightly surprised. Metal energy was something he hadn’t expected either. But that surprise only lasted momentarily as he swung the strings harder, attempting to cut through the barrier. The barrier caved in under the attack, Alex unable to keep it up on the other side. Then, after one strong push from the dragon, the four icy threads shattered the barrier, leaving fragments of metal energy in

the area.

The dragon grinned. He did the final attack, attempting to hit Alex

with all his might. The family head would stop him after all, so he

didn’t have to worry.

He swung, and the four threads cut through Alex with no one

stopping it.

“What?” Deathrime shouted in surprise, and so did many of the other

dragons in the stands. Alex had just been-

Something tapped the dragon on his side.

“And you’re dead,” Alex spoke, appearing out of invisibility.

Deathrime froze in pure shock as he slowly turned his head down

toward where Alex was.

“How did you…”

“I told you,” Alex answered. “Never think for a second that you have humans figured out. Because that is the moment you will lose.”
