Chapter 855 -708: Obediently Come With Me, We’re On the Same Side (2)
Just as he turned his head, the white shadow had already pursued to the back of the car.
The figure paused abruptly, then leaped high, drawing a powerful white arc in the air, crossing more than twenty meters, and descended toward the front of the car.
“Boom——!!!”
A deafening explosion erupted!
The entire front of the car twisted and collapsed instantly, the hood bent up like a crumpled sheet of paper, and the components inside emitted a piercing shattering noise.
The powerful impact caused the rear of the sedan to jerk upwards, almost standing up straight, then it slammed back to the ground, the tires screeching against the road, emitting clouds of blue smoke.
The airbags inside the car exploded instantly, but the massive jolt still made the two people inside feel as if their internal organs were displaced, stars dancing before their eyes and a constant ringing in their ears.
Before they could recover from the sudden attack, a teeth-grating metal tearing sound pierced their eardrums.
“Screech——!”
The driver’s side door was torn apart as if it were made of paper, the heavy metal door panel twisted and spun into the roadside grass.
Immediately, a mechanical arm like a spider’s appendage brutally reached in, grabbing directly at the driver, Zhao Lu.
“Who are you?”
Zhao Lu, mustering all his strength against the dizziness and fear, roared instinctively blocking the grabbing mechanical arm with one hand, while quickly reaching for the standard issue pistol in his pocket with the other.
“Clack——Screech——”
Both arms were torn off at the roots, and blood spurted out like a burst water pipe, instantly dyeing the car’s interior a glaring crimson.
The warm liquid splattered over the windshield, the dashboard, and all over the face of the colleague in the passenger seat.
“Ahhh——!”
Zhao Lu let out a scream so shrill it didn’t even sound human.
“Don’t resist, follow me obediently, we’re on the same side!”
Iron Claw, his voice sounding taunting and cruel through the faceplate.
Zhao Lu screamed in pain, a buzzing in his head: “???”
The same side?
What same side?
Is this how you treat people on the same side?
And, who the hell is on the same side as you?!!!
In Iron Claw’s eyes, they and Zhao Lu were both sent here by the superior sequentially; even though Zhao Lu didn’t know of their presence, they could indeed be considered the same side.
But this was indeed Iron Claw’s way of treating people on the same side, and he felt he was already being gentle.
After all, the captain just wanted them brought back for questioning; he didn’t say they had to be whole, leaving a talking mouth should be enough, right?!!
Zhao Lu, having lost his arms, went mad with pain, slamming his blood-soaked forehead into Iron Claw’s mask.
The colleague in the passenger seat had a bit more time to buffer due to Zhao Lu.
The gruesome scene made his whole body go cold, but he still pulled out a pistol from his pocket with trembling hands.
Iron Claw glanced at him, let out a disdainful snort, not even bothering to stop him:
“These outdated toys, don’t bring them out to amuse people.”
The passenger seat colleague’s heart sank, his lips trembling with fear, but there was a fierce decisiveness deep in his eyes.
Iron Claw didn’t even bother dodging. With this exoskeleton armor he was wearing, if a handgun bullet could even scratch the skin, it would be a miracle.
“Bang bang bang!”
Three gunshots almost in a straight line.
Such a close distance, it was impossible to miss!
Iron Claw was stunned, the smile under his faceplate abruptly cut off.
Because those three shots were not aimed at him, but shot at Zhao Lu’s face.
Blood mixed with brain matter exploded, all three shots hitting the face, almost shattering Zhao Lu’s entire face, killing him instantly.
The person in the passenger seat didn’t know who the enemy was, nor did he know their intentions, but he would never let the enemy capture the two of them alive.
“You dare?!!”
Iron Claw finally reacted, letting out a furious and shocking roar.
The mechanical limbs loosened the limp corpse of Zhao Lu, with a piercing shriek of torn air, furiously grabbing the man in the passenger seat.
The man in the passenger seat, eyes bloodshot, with a look of martyr-like madness.
He swiftly turned the gun, pointing the muzzle under his own chin.
He had always been a very timid person, afraid of pain and death, always bullied.
Now he was still afraid of pain and death, but he feared more that someone would extract secrets of the Second Prison from his mouth, revealing information that might be adverse to the Minister.
“Bang!”
The fourth gunshot!
Just as he pulled the trigger, the mechanical claw hit his wrist holding the gun.
“Crack!”
The wrist bone was instantly crushed, the gun flew out, spinning and hitting the car window behind, causing it to crack like a spider web.
The bullet grazed his earlobe, the hot air shredding half of his ear, bloody and shattered.
The man in the passenger seat, realizing his suicide had failed, showed a look of utter panic, then clenched his teeth forcefully.
“Bastard!!!”
Iron Claw watched with fury, he had never seen such a determined, unyielding “weakling”!
Two mechanical arms shot out like lightning, piercing the passenger’s shoulders, the immense force slamming the opponent’s body into the already precarious car door.
The car door shattered completely, Iron Claw grabbed the passenger’s body, both of them hurtling out like a cannonball.
“Thud!”
The passenger’s body slammed heavily onto the hard cold road, dragging out a long trail of blood, tearing the clothes on his back.
He felt like every bone in his body was dislocated, pain radiating from all over.
Meanwhile, Iron Claw, like a giant white spider, lay atop the passenger’s chest, the massive pressure nearly suffocating him, his ribs straining under the burden.
A cold iron hand gripped the opponent’s jaw, the immense force nearly crushing the jawbone.
“Open your mouth! Open your mouth! Open your mouth for me!!”
Iron Claw roared madly, his fingers exerting force.
The man’s mouth was crushed to a bloody pulp, his teeth shattering under the immense pressure.
He coughed violently, spewing out a mouthful of broken teeth mixed with blood and saliva, and… a bloody severed tongue, still emitting a muffled laugh.
Iron Claw looked at the chicken-like man beneath his feet, and at the crazy, ferocious smile on his face, his anger growing uncontainable.
He had never seen such a weak, yet insane and brave man!
His meager mind couldn’t comprehend why?
“What are you doing, I said we’re on the same side, you damn fool, fool ahhhh——”
Amidst the raging roar, Iron Claw grabbed the blood-soaked head of the passenger with one hand, his mechanical limbs on the back again exerting force on the ground, the figure leaping madly back towards the direction of the abandoned gas station.
Iron Claw rudely tossed the man he carried to the ground, making a dull thud.
The man convulsed uncontrollably from the pain, a raspy “huh-huh” sound coming from his throat, blood foam mixed with saliva still seeping from the tongue stump.
A brief silence.
Shadow Scorpion crossed his arms, his voice dripping with sarcasm:
“Let me see… Tsk tsk, a useless half-dead man who can’t even speak? Really… a bountiful harvest.”
Iron Claw’s chest heaved violently, his armored fists clenching with a creaking sound, but he dared not act out before the captain, squeezing out from between his teeth:
“Shut your filthy mouth, Shadow Scorpion!”
However, more nerve-wracking for Iron Claw than Shadow Scorpion’s mockery was the icy, almost tangible gaze from right ahead.
The captain spoke, his voice low:
“Is this the person you brought back for me?”
He paused slightly, almost causing Iron Claw’s heart to skip a beat.
“I asked you to bring a few people back?”
Iron Claw felt his scalp tingle, instinctively wanting to argue — the other one was already dead, shot by his own comrade, how could that be his fault?!
He opened his mouth, the lips beneath the faceplate quivered.
However, just as the words were about to escape his lips, he had a rare flash of brilliance, his intelligence briefly ascending to a higher ground.
