Chapter 757: Chapter 659: S-Class Legend Acquired (Part 2)

It’s hard for Feng Mu to accurately estimate the true battle power that can be unleashed.

But he cautiously speculates that wielding this battle axe, with full firepower, facing ten of his pre-upgrade selves, it’s not overconfident to say he’d definitely have a sure victory.

And the most, most crucial point is — all the skills embedded in this piece of equipment seem to perfectly complement his original Limit-Breaking Skill: Ghost Shadow and Shadow Manipulation ability.

Illusion + Ghost Shadow + Shadow, combined with Shift between the body, shadow, and illusion, some illusions can even cast skills...

Against such a complex mix of real and fake moves, how strong an opponent would it take to accurately lock onto his true form amidst the chaotic battlefield?

"Using this upgrade ticket was so worth it, Thousand Illusions Void·Axe of the End and I are simply a perfect match!!!"

Feng Mu’s heart surged with excitement as he unconsciously tightened his grip on the axe handle.

He noticed that the appearance of the axe had quietly changed, while the size and design remained the same, a faint butterfly-shaped pattern had emerged on the silver-white axe blade.

The butterfly shadow fluttered elegantly across the shimmering surface of the axe, adding a sense of eerie beauty and mystery.

With himself holding it, he seemed to transform from the original "Killing Maniac" vibe to an "Elegant Hannibal" demeanor.

"This pattern should be the ’Space-Time Illusion Butterfly’ mentioned in the description, right?"

Feng Mu lowered his head to scrutinize the axe blade again, then expertly twirled the axe in his hand into a crisp flower pattern, secretly pondering:

"Looks like I need to specifically seek out an axe technique to practice in the future."

With a casual flip, the axe disappeared from his hand and was stored in the equipment slot.

Although the equipment’s effects activate upon equipping, Feng Mu valued its attributes and skills.

But after all, it is a rare S-level weapon, and the material of the axe blade is undoubtedly extraordinary; not wielding it directly in battle feels somewhat like a waste.

After the excitement and satisfaction slightly subsided, a more greedy or rather exploratory thought involuntarily emerged from Feng Mu’s mind:

"However, speaking of which... If an A-level equipment can be directly upgraded to S-level using the upgrade ticket, then if..."

His eyes sparkled with calculation,

"What if my luck exploded earlier, and I directly drew an S-level equipment, then used this upgrade ticket on it... What would happen?"

"Can it continue to upgrade? Is there a higher tier above S-level? Like SS-level? Or even the legendary SSS-level?

Or is S-level already the highest level possible under current rules?"

Feng Mu couldn’t help but let his mind wander with these thoughts, but he wasn’t genuinely contemplating whether he could draw an S-level next time.

He strongly doubted he would ever have the luck to genuinely obtain an S-level item through the "lottery" method, given the malicious "twitch" habit of the jackpot wheel at the critical moment.

What he was truly thinking was: if there’s a chance in the future, he definitely needs to obtain another upgrade ticket to test it out.

Feng Mu stared at the mirror, lost in his thoughts, his mind surging like a tide, and after a moment, he slowly took a deep breath, gradually gathering his scattered thoughts.

Then he refocused his attention on the last two rewards remaining in the Silver Treasure Chest — 100,000 points of Skill Proficiency and a Building Module.

"A hundred thousand points?"

When Feng Mu first glanced at the number, he even thought he had seen an extra zero.

After counting twice carefully and confirming it was correct, a genuine joy surged from his heart:

"This should be enough to meet the prerequisite conditions for ’Blood and Flesh Initial Solution’, right?"

He was not in a hurry to allocate this "fortune" but instead suppressed his inner urge and set his sights on the [Building Module].

"Building Module? The name seems to give a similar feel to the Base Vehicle."

Feng Mu squinted his eyes, looking at the palm-sized virtual building module, particularly pausing on the words "Awaiting Activation" for a while.

Though called a building module, its design was rather bizarre, completely different from any common architectural style in the real world, more like a creation of some alien civilization or monster.

Its main body appeared as a deeply concave "pool," with walls seemingly made of some biological keratin and solid metal fused, with a matte and dim surface tone.

The pool was filled with some entity between a liquid and a biological gel, continuously, slowly rolling and churning by itself.

Its color was indescribable, a life-like "active" mixture of dark red and murky gray-white intertwined.

The building model was impressively realistic, with tiny bubbles occasionally rising from its depths, silently bursting on the pool’s surface.

Feng Mu even vaguely sensed a faint, sweet, and familiar smell.

On one side of the pool extended several tube-like structures of varying thickness, with an indiscernible texture, twisting and coiling like the tentacles of some enormous biological organ or the transport passage of an alien machine.

These tubes ultimately connected to several transparent glass-cylindrical containers.

In stark contrast to the pool that appeared almost alive was the emptiness within the glass jars, their walls smooth and icy.

"Once the building is activated... will something be generated from those glass jars?"

Feng Mu mumbled to himself, his gaze fixed on the continuously churning "pool" as a vague suspicion gradually formed in his mind,

"Could this building possibly be...?"

He took a deep breath, unable to be certain yet, but his heart skipped a beat,

"If it really is as I think, then this thing definitely fits with the prison theme."

Just then, the system seemed to sense his thoughts and timely displayed a notification:

[Currently unavailable for activation, please expand the base first, then deploy the building...]

Seeing this line of words, a hint of realization passed through Feng Mu’s eyes, and his suspicion became more affirmed.

"Good, good... it must be this thing."

He murmured, his tone carrying an undercurrent of anticipation,

"Once I complete the base’s expansion, the first thing I’ll build is you."

The appearance of this building module timely alleviated a lingering concern in Feng Mu’s mind.

He originally worried that as he gained increasing control over the Second Prison, it wouldn’t be long before he completely took it over.

By then, once he formally unfolds the "Base Vehicle" and integrates it into the prison, how would he acquire the resources to construct other functional "buildings"?

After all, based on his prior experience with real-time strategy games like ’Red Alert,’ ’StarCraft,’ and ’Magical Beast,’ aside from the main base (Command Center or Main City) being a free initial gift,

all other building units — whether barracks, tank factories, or research institutes, require consuming a large amount of specific resources to be completed.

But in this real world, devoid of any interface or resource bar, what would "resources" be?

Ordinary money, minerals, energy? Or... some stranger, more peculiar things?

Previously, he had no clue.

But now, with this module in hand, he at least felt a bit more at ease.

"Since I’ve obtained a ready-made building module in advance, it means that at least one seemingly crucial and powerful building has been ’unlocked.’

Once the base is officially expanded, I should be able to construct it directly!"

Feng Mu thought silently to himself,

"As long as I can first construct one building, everything else will fall into place, just take it step by step."

Having been entangled for so long, Feng Mu was eagerly anticipating the day the "base" would be officially expanded.

There’s no way he could accept facing nothing but an empty shell when that moment finally comes.

It’s like painstakingly setting a dining table; even if a full feast can’t be presented right away, there should at least be a dish of meat, so he can genuinely "taste" the base’s flavor and satiate his cravings during this period.

Of course, if a full feast were laid out directly, that would naturally be a pleasant thing...
