Chapter 2238: The Next Morning

The next morning arrived slowly as the sun shone brightly through the window glass. I opened my eyes, finding myself surrounded by my wives. Last night was quite intense, but I was able to endure it well.

More importantly, today we had a lot to do, so I woke up and decided to take a shower earlier. Once I finished, someone knocked at the door. It was a trio of maids who brought a large breakfast feast.

"Lord Drake, the King and the Queen sent this breakfast feast for you and your wives."

"I see. Tell them that I am very grateful. Thank you."

I quickly brought everything inside. It was a mix of many delicious foods, but most importantly, a lot of meat. It was nice that the Dwarves ate meat even for breakfast.

As I was about to close the door, my children sneaked inside. They had all woken up. Benladra came carrying Drakda in her arms, the boy still looking a little sleepy.

"Daddy, good morning," Kate smiled, flying to my side, giving me a kiss on the cheek, and hugging me.

"Good morning, my princess," I said, caressing her head, kissing her forehead and her little nose, before doing the same with Benladra and the sleepy Drakda. "Did you three sleep well here?"

"Yeah, the room they gave us was nice and big!" Benladra nodded. "The bed was big, so we cuddled just fine."

"Hm, it’s nice to cuddle with big sis..." Kate nodded.

"Awee...? Hm... Meat?" Drakda was already sniffing the air, catching the tasty smell of grilled meat. "Bacon?"

"Yeah, there’s plenty of food they brought us, so let’s share it with everyone," I nodded. "How about it?"

"Yeah!" Drakda nodded, flying toward the food.

"Hm... Ah, I guess it’s yet another morning..." Benladann yawned, sitting on the bed. "Huh? You’re here already... and what’s this feast? Did you cook it?"

"No, the King sent it," I said. "Let’s enjoy it together."

"Looks nice..." Miranda said.

"Hm, it does look appetizing..." Andromeda said as Kate sat on her lap.

"Let’s enjoy it then!" I said.

We quickly sat down and enjoyed the delicious meal, from freshly baked bread to large pieces of yellow, creamy cheese, white goat cheese, blue cheese, and other types of cheese, along with lots of scrambled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, grilled pieces of thick monster meat, and even steamed meat-filled buns packed with flavor, as the Dwarves loved using spicy spices for their meat.

There was also plenty of fresh cow and goat milk, as well as oatmeal and honey, which I enjoyed with a refreshing meal that reminded me of Earth for a moment. I also made some food for us, such as doughnuts, pancakes, waffles, and flavored cereal, which my children loved, especially the chocolate-flavored one. They were mostly made from corn, which we farmed plentifully in my Divine Realm’s vast farms.

"Phew, that was a nice breakfast~! Shall we have a family bath together?" Benladann asked.

"Yeah!" Benladra said. "I saw the showers, and they’re really big, so we can take one easily like back home."

"Sure," Miranda nodded. "Drakda, bath time."

"Meeeh..." Drakda didn’t really want to, but ended up going.

"I’ll go with them as well," Andromeda said. "This body tends to sweat sometimes, and I don’t like being smelly..."

"Aw, you’re never smelly, my love," I said, kissing her. "Go ahead. I’ll take care of a small thing while you’re bathing. I already bathed earlier."

"Alright," Andromeda nodded, walking to the bathroom in this room.

Meanwhile, inside my Divine Realm, I was also enjoying breakfast with Yuki and Yudra, though I had accelerated time here, so it had been a week since Yudra was born.

She was much better now, moving around with more energy. She was an adorable, fluffy dragon full of curiosity, her ears flopping as she heard anything that aroused her curiosity around the room.

"I think I feel good now. It has been a nice week of rest," Yuki said. "Thank you for taking care of me this entire time... Drake, it means a lot."

Yuki approached me and gave me several kisses on the lips. I embraced her in a hug while she cuddled with me on the bed, kissing my lips constantly, sometimes sneaking her tongue. She had become much more confident and playful.

"You don’t need to thank me. I was simply doing what a husband has to do for his wife," I said.

"Still... we’ve known each other for all this time, but now I’m really... just falling even more for you now..." Yuki pouted. "You were already a good friend before, but now? You’re so nice it makes me feel a little bad..."

"Don’t be humble about it," I said. "You’re my wife now, right?"

"I-I guess I am..." she nodded timidly, looking at the ring I had given her before. "Everything has happened quite fast, but... I-I’m so happy... I really love you, Drake..."

"I love you too," I said, kissing her lips again as she hugged me, kissing me passionately while our daughter played around the room, throwing things onto the floor and constantly shattering them.

"I want to stretch my legs, you know?" she asked. "Can I go outside now? Look at her destroying everything. I think she’s ready to at least see the outside world while I carry her around."

"Sure," I nodded. "Drakda was the same, so it’s fine. And I’m sure her siblings will love to have her around."

"You think so?" Yuki asked.

"Of course!" I laughed. "Why wouldn’t they? They are sometimes asking me where Yudra is and if she’s fine."

"Aww..." Yuki smiled, being more honest with herself than ever before. "That’s so nice, damn it! Why is your family so cute?"

"Our family," I said, kissing her forehead.

"Ugh..." she blushed, looking at me with enamored eyes. "I can barely resist you, you know? C-Can’t we go to the bathroom for a minute at least?"

"Huh? Sure..." I nodded as I accompanied her.

And then I quickly realized what she meant.

She had become really good at this too...
