Chaos screamed in agony and monstrously attacked back, hitting Ignisefer with her hundreds of limbs! However, Ignisefer spun in midair, slamming her with his titanic tail!

As she screamed in pain, she was sent flying down with immense force, only for Ignisefer to quickly open his jaws, firing a massive atomic breath!
“ROOOAAARR!”
TRUUUMMM!!!
The beam pierced through chaos, as it engulfed her into a massive explosion, disintegrating a large part of her larger, gaseous and miasmic body.
BOOOMMM!!!
The outer layer was almost fully peeled off, revealing an aberrant chimera within, of almost a hundred meters of height, made out of several different insect body parts and the torsos of Chaos’ humanoid body.
It looked utterly abhorrent, but this was Chaos’ true body right now, her own sense of self was beginning to shatter and fall apart as the power of the element of chaos consumed her sense of self as she used it.
“DON’T LOOK…! DON’T LOOK AT MEEEEEE!”
As she screamed in agony and pain, crying tears of blood through her many eyes, her countless insectoid jaws opened, firing hundreds of chaotic beams at Ignisefer.

Ignisefer was covered by large wounds, vomiting blood once more and being knocked out on the spot, falling into the ground beneath.

Amehia, Tyrannus, and Emerald panicked as they saw the great king unconscious!
“Shit! What do we do?! We have to heal him back up again!” Emerald said.
“I-I’m on it but this one is going to take much longer!” Amehia cried.
“He did his part…!” Tyrannus muttered, glancing at Emerald. “Emerald! Go and fight Chaos with Drake and the rest! We’ll take care of Ignisefer! It’s now your TURN to make a difference!”
“A-Ah…!” Emerald’s eyes widened, as Amehia nodded.
“That’s right! Go! Emerald! Please go help them!” Amehia said. “They need you, everyone needs you more than ever!”

As Emerald’s eyes widened, the words Amehia muttered quickly reached his heart.
“They need me…?”
His entire life Emerald had always thought of himself as someone pathetic, weak, spoiled, and stupid.
He had no accomplishments; he had nothing to be proud of.
He was mocked by other dragons, and his first encounter with one almost cost him his own life, with his wings left crippled and cursed.

After meeting Amehia and her village, and then after meeting Drake and Surtr, and everyone else…

His own Alter Ego roared within his mind.

Emerald’s eyes shone bright red, his Demonic Powers and his Celestial Wind Divinity beginning to flow at the same time through his body.

Emerald rushed into the skies as fast as he could!
At the same time, Drake and everyone else were fighting Chaos without end.
Logi’s portals opened one after another.

Ruby’s monstrous bat-like form roared furiously, as she swung her giant claws against Chaos, tearing apart her Decay Barriers and then inflicting deep wounds into her flesh.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Each of her attacks came accompanied by crimson blood energies, and the power of her shattered Ascendancy Law Ring, inherited from her ancestor, the Vampire Venerable.
“NNNGGGHH…!”
Chaos groaned in pain, gritting her countless teeth as she attacked Ruby back with fury! Swinging dozens of praying mantis-like scythes and covering her with slashing wounds!
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
“AAAARRGGHH…!”
The giant bat-like monster roared in pain as she started falling from the skies…
While this happened, within Ruby’s Mindscape, a hole made by Miranda, Benladra, and Kate was growing larger and larger.
Using their secondary bodies and their psychic powers, they began digging a hole through Ruby’s psyche, aiming to rescue and bring out the “real her”!
“Come on Ruby! Come here!”
“You can do it! Ruby!”
“Please, come.”
“RUBY!”
Connecting to his mind, even Rakasha was there, calling for her, trying to ask for her forgiveness.
“Please forgive me! I committed a mistake, I disappointed you…! You can take my life later, but now, everyone needs your strength, everyone needs the real you!”

Ruby looked at the hole, crying tears of sorrow as she saw the monstrous Ruby behind her, glaring at him with her furious eyes.

Ruby stood up, the pressure that was putting her down becoming less and less, as she began to regain her own resolve.

Ruby leaped into the abyssal darkness, as her entire astral body started glowing, blood manifested around her, turning into pure blood energy.
And then, a broken ring began spinning behind her…

Her other self attacked Ruby, swinging her giant hands made of blood and darkness, as countless explosions erupted through her mindscape!

Despite her bravado, however, Ruby was being pushed back constantly, she was weak, but she was relentless, even as she was being crushed, she stood back up again, fighting more and more and more.
“I’ll make my way back…! I’ll return to everyone! And there’s nothing you can do!!!”
“BUT WHAT ABOUT MOTHER?!”
“Mom…!”
Ruby looked down, as her other self smiled, hitting her and throwing her down through the floating debris, blowing it up into pieces one after another.
CRAAASH!
“Ugh…?!”
As Ruby vomited blood, feeling her own astral body weaker, she looked towards where her mother was…

She suddenly realized her mother wasn’t there anymore.
“E-Eh? Mom?”
And then, a hand touched her shoulder.
“SEE?! IT’S FUTILE! WE CANNOT STOP! THIS WORLD IS TOO DANGEROUS! EVERYONE WE LOVE COULD DIE! WE’LL PROTECT MOTHER LIKE THIS! AND YOU SIMPLY NEED TO-“
