Shen Tiancheng looked up just in time to see Mu Tiantian’s expression, which seemed to want to relax yet suddenly tensed with vigilance for some unknown reason, and he couldn’t help but smile.

"You can take a good rest!"

Mu Tiantian blinked and looked at Shen Tiancheng.

Shen Tiancheng pointed to a nearby cave and smiled gently.

"That should be the cave of this black bear. Near the black bear’s cave, few animals dare to come over!"

Listening to Shen Tiancheng’s words, Mu Tiantian was so exhausted she plopped down on a stone on the ground and gasped for breath.

Her hands naturally fell, and when the gun in her hand dropped to the ground, it emitted a metallic clatter, making Mu Tiantian frown.

Shen Tiancheng also looked over again at this moment.

Mu Tiantian bent over and looked to the right, sweeping the snow beside the stone with her hands. When she saw the gun lying silently in the snow, her pupils contracted suddenly.

Looking up along the muzzle, as she saw a human corpse almost buried by snow, frozen in blood and clearly torn by beasts, she fell off the stone, hitting the snow with a thud.

Shen Tiancheng had already rushed over, swiftly sweeping off the snowflakes and decayed leaves from the corpse, revealing a human body missing limbs and even without a skull.

Seeing the gun in the corpse’s hand, Shen Tiancheng’s eyes deepened. After pulling Mu Tiantian up, he quickly started checking without caring how gruesome the corpse was.

Mu Tiantian only took one glance and was certain that this human corpse was definitely leftovers from the black bear they encountered that had been discarded after a meal.

Although incomplete, the remaining flesh had already frozen into snowy chunks, not appearing bloody.

But the broken corpse still carried the fresh red of raw meat, appearing incredibly horrifying, and she couldn’t accept it.

This was the second time Mu Tiantian vomited since entering Qi Mountain.

Only after the feeling of nausea completely faded did Mu Tiantian force herself to quickly turn and look at the corpse.

She found out that the corpse was gone.

But Shen Tiancheng had already walked to her side.

"No need to look, dead for three days, was a mercenary, shot, but ended as the black bear’s meal!"

Mu Tiantian: "..."

Although she felt it was tragic, considering they themselves were prey to forest animals, Mu Tiantian bucked up again.

Just as she was about to speak, she, already used to maintaining vigilance anytime, suddenly pursed her lips and quickly pulled Shen Tiancheng.

Shen Tiancheng was caught off guard and almost fell to the ground.

"Someone!"

Mu Tiantian’s voice was extremely low as she ignored Shen Tiancheng almost entirely pressing against her and tightly fixed her big black eyes on the rear.

Sure enough, not long after, they saw a group of about twenty people, each wearing army green clothes and carrying backpacks, appear in their view.

Mercenaries!

That was the first thing Mu Tiantian thought of.

Mu Tiantian didn’t even have time to react before Shen Tiancheng held her tight and rolled down with her, following the slight slope.

As Mu Tiantian’s head spun and brain reeled, she quickly supported herself against a nearby stone as they rolled into a small cave below.

The group of mercenaries coming over noticed the movement on this side.
