With one last sprint, Sylvia shot directly into Caelus’s arms.

Caelus tried to speak through his squished cheeks, his words coming out muffled.

Sylvia burst into giggles at his silly voice.

She released his cheeks and peppered his face with tiny kisses instead.

"This is for coming to the gate and waiting for me."

She kissed his left cheek.

"This is for being my handsome boyfriend."

She kissed his right cheek.

"This is for being mine."

She kissed the tip of his nose.

"And this..."

She leaned in close, her lips hovering just above his.

"...is because I want to."

She pressed her lips against his in a soft, lingering kiss.

When she pulled back, her eyes crinkled with happiness.

"I love you, Hubby. I love you more than anything in this world."

"I love you too."

Caelus replied with a smile as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Sylvia’s expression then turned mischievous as she poked his chest.

"Say it again."

"I love you."

"Again."

"I love you."

"One more time, with feeling."

Caelus rolled his eyes but couldn’t hide his smile.

"I love you more than anything in this world, my beautiful, naughty vampire wife."

Sylvia’s face turned completely red at the word "wife."

She buried her face in his chest.

"Wife? We’re not even married yet," she mumbled into his shirt.

"Yet."

Caelus emphasized the word with a smile.

"Will you shower me with gifts when I become your Little Faithful wife?"

Sylvia looked up and kissed him once more.

"I will warm your bed every day and even give you kisses all day in return."

"Of course."

Caelus replied helplessly.

She let out a happy squeal and hugged him even tighter.

Then Sylvia’s hand began tracing patterns on his chest.

"Hubby. You wanna do naughty stuff with me?"

Sylvia looked up at Caelus with a mischievous look.

"You naughty vampire."

Caelus pinched her cheek.

"You just came back from a life-and-death situation, and you already want to do naughty stuff?"

"I want rewards."

Sylvia said coquettishly as she grabbed onto his clothes.

Of course, Caelus wasn’t going to deny her.

He was a healthy adult, and when a beautiful girl as naughty and affectionate as Sylvia acted like this, it was difficult for him to resist.

Both of them looked at each other with heated expressions.

But just before they could continue, the apartment’s doorbell rang.

Caelus and Sylvia froze.
