The Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid after another qualitative change by Aimou.

"I performed a new round of qualitative change according to your requirements, but your demands were too many and too complex. Although it underwent a ’Yellowing’ transformation, in reality, it’s not far off from a ’Red Transformation’."

Aimou explained, not having expected that her accidental creation would have such powerful expansiveness, accompanying Bologue until now.

"Hmm."

At this moment, Bologue’s attention was entirely focused on the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid. He commanded the cold serpents, splitting them into two, then four. The control became increasingly precise, until they transformed into strands as fine as hair, weaving like silk and forming a soft metal glove on Bologue’s hand.

"As you can see, to match your precise control, I’ve made some narrow and sharp modifications to it. Previously, it could at most subdivide into needles, but now it’s entirely capable of achieving the fiberization you mentioned."

Listening to Aimou’s narration, Bologue made adjustments, allowing the serpents to bite at himself. As a Defender Tier undead, Bologue was too suitable as a target to test the strength of new weapons.

A continuous, needle-like pain spread from his palm; the hair-thin strands broke, silk decayed, revealing Bologue’s palm, yet the severe pain persisted, showing no sign of any tangible injury to Bologue.

The substance indeed exists; it’s just too minute, nearly imperceptible to the naked eye.

Bologue marveled, "It’s like asbestos fibers."

The hallmark of Bologue’s Alchemy Matrix is its terrifying aggressiveness. However, breaching an enemy’s Rectangular Soul Critical is not easy when facing enemies of the same tier or above Bologue. Thus, inspired by real cases, Bologue thought of fiberizing the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid.

Relying on the extremely tiny fiberized metal, Bologue could invisibly erode the enemy’s body in battle, slowly driving this invisible needle into the enemy’s body, and even artificially creating the effects of pneumoconiosis in prolonged combat.

Continuing to delve into the new abilities of the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid, Bologue sensed a strange power roving within the wriggling metal. It showed no ether reaction but could still emit an invisible force, affecting those around.

An abrupt ticking sound arose. Bologue touched his nose to find his fingertip stained with crimson.

He had a nosebleed.

"It’s okay; this is a normal reaction under radiation," Aimou picked up a tissue and helped Bologue wipe away the bloodstains, "Just as you said, I also integrated the so-called Death Metal into the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid."

"Oh?"

Bologue marveled at Aimou’s talent, as she had managed to fulfill his wishes.

"These Death Metals will continuously release radiation to the outside world, penetrating biological cells and killing organisms. To prevent you from causing a radiation hazard due to your undead body, I selected some short-ranged Death Metals; a single layer of paper is enough to fully offset their radiation."

Aimou said lightly. As the essence of steel, Death Metal had no effect on her whatsoever.

"Under usual circumstances, the Death Metal would be encapsulated by the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid to isolate it. When needed, you can release it actively. Also, like Red Mercury, the Death Metal cannot be proliferated on a large scale by the self-replicating nature of the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid."

Aimou advised, "Naturally, I hope that the quantity of Death Metal remains as is. For you and me, it poses no threat, but for ordinary people, it has immense destructive power, even with its short range."

Bologue affirmed, after mentioning these matters to Aimou, he sought some relevant information. Once Death Metal enters the human body, the radiation it releases will continuously reflect between flesh and blood, akin to ricocheting spinning knives, repeatedly piercing cell structures and destroying physiological balance.

For ordinary people, this would be a deadly weapon, but from the start, Bologue never intended to use it on ordinary people or Condensers in a conventional sense.

It wasn’t out of benevolence or pity; Bologue simply felt that, compared to Death Metal, blades were more efficient.

Bologue asked, "Do you think this thing can prevent the regeneration of flesh and blood?"

From the very beginning, this was something Bologue designed to suppress all potential undead. Those undead with complex undying natures might be beyond Bologue’s means, but if it was merely the immortality of flesh and blood, then Death Metal could be effective.

"I’m not sure; it hasn’t undergone combat testing yet," Aimou shook her head, "but we don’t have the time or conditions to conduct combat tests."

Aimou added, "However, if the enemies are solely the Night Race, it indeed possesses absolute lethality."

"Death Metal?"

"No, I’m referring to the Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid itself," Aimou explained. "Though I’ve always been cooped up in the lab, I’m crystal clear about the recent world upheavals."

"Since the Order Bureau’s next formidable foe is the Night Race, you will undoubtedly engage with the Night Race too. So I’ve increased the Silver Element content in the transformation; it can serve as a freely morphing piece of silverware, exerting an absolute repressive force on the Night Race."

Aimou pondered for a moment and then added, "The dual suppression of silver and Death Metal should be able to restrain the undying power of the Night Race, even for the Pure Blood tier."

Suddenly, the swimming serpents halted, then clustered together, forming a repeatedly coiled serpentine arm ring, solidified under the sleeve.

Bologue stood dazed, staring intently at Aimou.

"Wha... what’s wrong?" Aimou nervously glanced around, "Did I say something wrong?"

"No, nothing wrong; I’m just really amazed."

"Amazed at what?"

"In some sense, we are truly a perfect match."

Bologue spoke from the heart; in combat, Aimou could bestow significant buffs on Bologue with Heart Overlapping Shadow. In logistics, Aimou could craft Alchemy Armaments tailored for Bologue according to his needs. Even in private life, Aimou had the patience to accompany him to watch movies that many find dreadfully boring...

Unfortunately, Bologue wasn’t one to express emotions intensely, or else he would probably have tearfully embraced Aimou.

"Uh... Bologue, your gaze is really disgusting right now."

"Gaze, is it all right? Is it that you feel I’m underestimating you?"

Bologue considered whether to ask Aimou to make him a portable, durable pair of glasses so that his gaze wouldn’t appear so unfocused and indifferent.

"No, just through your gaze, I sense that you are thinking about many presumptuous things."

"Ah... shouldn’t be too presumptuous, right?"

Bologue hesitated a bit, thinking it better not to voice those messy thoughts.

Bologue changed the topic, "Speaking of which, are you going back to work afterward?"

"More or less."

Aimou rubbed her eyes, the excitement fading, replaced by a surge of fatigue, "Research, endless research. We are currently developing a radar to detect large-scale ether flows, the region’s ether concentration, and also predict where Ethereal Vortex Points might form."

"This research isn’t under strict time constraints, right?" Bologue asked.

"No rush. From completing the research to entering testing, there’s still a long way to go," Aimou asked, puzzled, "Why do you ask?"

"I’m only thinking about requisitioning you for a period using legitimate reasons, to free you from the tedious work," Bologue reminded, "After all, I’m your team leader, and in terms of priority, Field Operations Department tasks are more important than those of the Sublimation Furnace Core."

Glancing at the stunned Aimou, Bologue extended his hand politely.

"A patrol mission, perhaps?"
