At a glance, Grace Yowell’s heart skipped a beat, feeling her entire body turning rigid, with cold sweat forming in her palms.

It was Mabel Quinn, unexpectedly, the person who found the ring was Mabel Quinn! Even more unexpected was the encounter with Mabel in such circumstances.

Ever since she learned that Mabel Quinn was temporarily staying at the May Family’s place, she had been subtly probing for Mabel’s updates through others these days, hoping that she would leave F City soon, so she could be more at ease. But unexpectedly, things didn’t go as planned.

"Hello, I’m Isabella Yowell. Thank you so much for finding my mother’s ring." Grace deliberately showed a hint of a smile, speaking to Mabel.

Grace took the ring. "If there’s nothing else, I should go in now. My mother insists that I stay by her side to feel at ease." After speaking, without waiting for a response, she retreated back into the room and shut the door.

A security guard nearby couldn’t help but mutter, "Why is she like this? After finding such a valuable ring for her, she just said thank you?"

"What can you say, she’s a rich young lady. To us, this ring might be precious, but to her, it’s probably just a trinket." Another security guard said.

As for Mabel Quinn, she originally returned the item without expecting any reward, but still, the other’s attitude seemed somewhat cold, even... some deliberate avoidance.

As if not wanting to interact with her.

"He’s okay, his spirits are good," Mabel replied.
