Chapter 1438 - 1479: The Eve of the Wedding (Part 2)

However, it seemed that Jasper Howards, the little kid, didn’t really want to play with Katherine Quinn. After all, he wasn’t interested in dolls or playing house. But faced with his mom shaking her fist at him, Jasper reluctantly gave in.

Anyway, he’s still young, and it’s only right for kids to listen to adults. Jasper very ostrich-like comforted himself with this theory and obediently went to play with Katherine.

Meanwhile, Dorian Howards pulled Kyle Kinston aside on the pretext of brotherly bonding, but in reality, to seek advice on having a second child. Upon hearing the news, Alice Conley was determined not to fall behind her friend and began to pull Dorian into passionate nights.

In response, Kyle Kinston simply said, "Just try more times, and it will happen naturally."

More times?! Dorian Howards was speechless, thinking, haven’t he done enough times? If he did any more, he’d probably drop.

"By the way, do you plan to have a son or a daughter this time?" Dorian asked.

"Son or daughter, it doesn’t matter," Kyle replied, as long as the child is his and Mabel’s, he would love it, "as long as the child is born safely, that’s all that matters."

As he said these words, a smile appeared on Kyle’s lips, anyone would think this is a man in happiness, expecting a new life. Who would have thought he once loathed his lineage continuing?

"Do you no longer dislike kids?" Dorian asked.

Kyle shook his head slightly, "I just think I was really foolish before, and now..."

"How about now?"

"Now, I just feel sorry for the children," Kyle said. "I am sorry for Ivy, almost not letting her come into this world, not having a father before age five, and...she and another child will be doomed to inherit the Kinston Family’s blood curse."

In his heart, there was more guilt.

Dorian patted his friend’s shoulder, "Alright, don’t think too much about it. Perhaps fate will arrange for support soon to appear beside your children. Things are unpredictable."

Upon hearing this, Kyle’s eyebrows relaxed slightly.

Elsewhere, Alice Conley said to Mabel Quinn, "You really got it, having another one so soon. I’m so jealous."

"You might soon have one yourself," Mabel smiled.

"I hope so," Alice said, her face showing determination to not rest until she reached her goal.

Mabel just smiled, feeling that after all these years, Alice’s personality hadn’t changed much.

"Tomorrow, you’re finally going to have a day that’s truly yours," Alice suddenly sighed. This wedding should have happened six years ago, but even now, it’s not too late. Now, Mabel finally has found her happiness.
