Dual Worlds: I Have a Doomsday World
Chapter 502 - 315: Liu Xingyuan: Don’t Come Over Here

Drain its damn Spiritual Power!
Harder!
Baili Xueyuan felt the draining force suddenly intensify.
She could have resisted, but she was terrified there was even the slightest chance he was telling the truth.
If he was, not only would the mission fail, but that Dead Ghost who had ventured deep into the monster’s crimson eye might be in danger too.
So that the Dead Ghost could return alive, so that the mission could proceed smoothly...
Baili Xueyuan felt like a powerless... third party, letting the person before her drain her Spiritual Power.
Baili Xueyuan stared at the enormous face, as if to burn its ugly features into her memory.
’Once this is over, I’m going to investigate them mercilessly!’
’This damn Mercenary Corps!’
’This damn No. 5!’
’I’ll make that woman pay!’
Seeing that Baili Xueyuan was no longer resisting, Lin Qi turned his attention away from her.
The colossal head twisted again, dripping tons of pale-yellow tissue fluid.
The deformed creature’s gaze shifted toward the ruins of the H4 Skyscraper.
This was still part of Lin Qi’s ruse. Whether the head moved or not had no effect on his observations through Spiritual Vision.
The whole point was to keep Baili Xueyuan’s attention fixed on the deformed creature.
With a deformed creature hundreds of meters tall right in front of her, who would ever suspect the true controller was in a sewer a kilometer away?
Baili Xueyuan, of course, never would.
She certainly wouldn’t guess that this body was merely a remote avatar.
This was the insidiousness of Wizard Professionals. It was nearly impossible to determine their specific Abilities on the first encounter.
Not to mention, most of Lin Qi’s powers were linked with his Spiritual Vision and activated from a distance.
Back with King Arthur and Master Ma, the two had closed in on Ning Hao.
Ning Hao’s current appearance was a world apart from when Lin Qi had first seen him.
The left side of his head was connected to the crimson eye—or rather, the crimson eye had been formed *from* the left half of his head.
His body, meanwhile, had largely "melted," merging into the tangled mass of tentacles wrapped around the H4 Skyscraper ruins.
Even what was left of his human form was "melting" away at an incredible rate, becoming part of the monster’s new body.
"Found him!"
"Master, dig him out!"
Excitement in her voice, King Arthur shot out a hand, grabbing for Ning Hao’s half-human torso.
Innumerable tentacles shot out from the surrounding gelatinous slime to stop her, tearing away the chunks of flesh encasing her piece by piece.
These flesh chunks only had the durability of a Tier Three Martial Artist Level and were no match for the tentacles.
The gigantic arm was ripped to shreds, gradually revealing a slender, pale arm within.
The arm wasn’t particularly muscular, no different from that of an average woman.
But its muscle, skin, and bone possessed Tier Four strength.
This was clearly not the physique of a typical Knight Professional. It was the "model" Lin Qi had subconsciously created for her when applying Rapid Growth, scaled to King Arthur’s own proportions.
After all, a five-foot-two, muscle-bound loli would be a psychologically disturbing image.
King Arthur didn’t mind. After all, she’d only been Tier One when she had her original arms and legs replaced, and her build had been much the same back then.
That was why King Arthur felt so comfortable using her new body.
With a single tug, she had ahold of the remaining half of Ning Hao’s human head.
Master Ma was right behind her, but positioned lower, swinging his own sturdy arms to rip at the connections between Ning Hao and the monster.
Countless crimson threads were severed.
They were the monster’s nerves!
"AARGH!"
"ROAR!"
The two sounds rang out almost in perfect sync.
One was Ning Hao’s cry of pain, the other was the monster’s shriek of agony.
"Holy shit, what is this?"
As King Arthur grabbed Ning Hao’s head, trying to separate the remaining human half from the crimson eye, her fingers brushed against a metal object.
S-Artemis Neural Drive Storage Medium. This was the device Lin Qi had first used to identify Bearers, a Prosthetic Body implanted in all of them.
King Arthur couldn’t tell what it was, and she didn’t care. Right now, she just wanted to rip this Bearer out as quickly as possible.
According to Baili Xueyuan’s earlier report, this remaining half of a human body was the main entity.
If they could just pry this half-body free and take it with them, they would have successfully captured the one and only Bearer.
King Arthur brutally yanked the Prosthetic Body from its connection point on his head and flung it into the nearby ooze.
Instantly, both the cry of pain and the shriek of agony ceased.
Ning Hao’s face went completely blank.
On the remaining half of his head, his human eye took on a cold, detached light. He seemed to completely ignore what was happening, utterly indifferent to the actions of King Arthur and Master Ma.
The next second, the expressions on King Arthur and Master Ma’s faces changed dramatically!
A terrifying Will Power erupted from within the crimson eye, even spilling out into the world beyond.
The total amount of Will Power wasn’t large, but its quality...
"A Tier Five Will? Shit! Master, fall back! Now!"
"I can’t! I’m paralyzed!"
King Arthur and Master Ma knew instantly that things had gone horribly wrong.
Who would have thought that after such a smooth operation, disaster would strike at the very last moment?
Even a sliver of Tier Five power was enough to utterly crush a Tier Four Extraordinary.
It was the absolute terror that came from a fundamental difference in their level of existence.
If such power invaded their Sea of Consciousness, it would obliterate the will of a Tier Four Extraordinary in an instant, striking directly at the core of their soul.
The moment this power erupted, the monster’s main body—the one fighting Liu Xingyuan outside the crimson eye—also gained immense strength.
Tier Five!
This, too, was Tier Five power!
The tentacles thrashed wildly, on the verge of tearing Liu Xingyuan to pieces!
Baili Xueyuan was about to move, the light and shadow around her twisting.
She wasn’t retreating. She was going to risk her own life and plunge deep inside the crimson eye to help the other two finish the final step.
Separation!
It must be separated!
As long as the untransformed core was severed from the transformed body, the monster’s power would plummet.
It was the only way!
...
A kilometer away, Lin Qi instantly sensed the will.
He was all too familiar with this particular Will Power.
Blood Moon Will!
But it was an incomplete Blood Moon Will!
It wasn’t as powerful as the Blood Moon Will from the Doomsday World. It lacked the overwhelming terror of facing a Deity.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Lin Qi sprang into action.
To prevent a situation just like this, Lin Qi had made thorough preparations, even bringing the Holy Light Bead with him from the Doomsday World.
The deformed creature, hundreds of meters tall, immediately began to topple over.
Only a few dozen meters separated the H3 Skyscraper from the H4 Skyscraper.
The deformed creature didn’t need to take a single step. All it had to do was fall over to crush the monster.
Of course, with his current Ability, Lin Qi wasn’t strong enough to make a creature of this size take even a single step.
A body with only Tier Three strength couldn’t support such a massive volume. Its immense weight made the deformed creature seem enormous, but in reality, it was just a heap of immobile, rotting flesh.
The only reason it could maintain a humanoid shape was because of a massive amount of bone and a net-like weave of hair holding it all together. Otherwise, it would have collapsed long ago.
Fortunately, it was close enough. Just falling over would be enough to pin down the entire ruin of the H4 Skyscraper.
...
As he was being torn apart by the monster’s Tier Five-level power, Liu Xingyuan’s own tentacle-like defenses were snapping apart as he desperately struggled to break free.
But suddenly, he found himself completely engulfed in shadow.
The crimson eye swiveled, looking behind it.
It saw the humanoid monster, hundreds of meters tall, suddenly drop to its knees and then fall forward, right toward it.
The Tentacle Monster shrieked in terror, "No!"
If that thing fell on him, there would be no escape!
But that was exactly Lin Qi’s plan. He couldn’t worry about his "dear" father-in-law, Liu Xingyuan, at the moment.
The deformed creature fell flat onto the ruins of the H4 Skyscraper, pinning the monster and Liu Xingyuan beneath it.
Compared to the monster’s Tier Five power, the deformed creature’s Tier Three strength was completely negligible.
But...
"Hardening!"
In an instant, its countless cells became incredibly rigid. Even when the Tier Five tentacles struck the creature’s body, they met heavy resistance, unable to slice through it like tofu as they had before.
This first step was to immobilize the monster and prevent its escape.
Next, the Holy Light Bead that Lin Qi had sent along with the falling body suddenly burst.
A pure white light blossomed.
The Holy Light erupted in that instant!
Based on Lin Qi’s experience in the Doomsday World, Holy Light was the perfect counter to the Blood Moon Will!
But...
The unfortunate Liu Xingyuan, however, was also within the Holy Light’s radius. The moment the pure white light washed over him, he let out a pained scream.
"AARGH!"
