At that moment, a powerful Mid Sixth Order cultivator from the Anti-Emperor Faction suddenly appeared nearby.

The cultivator had been fighting against several Emperor Faction soldiers when he noticed the two puppets killing his comrades. Seeing that the puppets were only at the Beginner Sixth Order, he immediately decided to destroy them before they could cause more damage.

However, what he failed to notice was that the second puppet had already moved behind him.

"Now." The puppet master calmly said.

The moment he gave the command, the armoured puppet suddenly rushed forward and attacked the cultivator with both blades, forcing him to raise his sword to defend himself. At the same time, the second puppet silently approached him from behind.

Before he could react, the armoured puppet swung one of its blades toward his neck.

His head was separated from his body, and his lifeless corpse fell to the ground. The entire exchange had lasted only a few seconds. Although the two puppets were individually weaker than the Mid Sixth Order cultivator, their teamwork and the puppet master’s control had allowed them to catch him off guard and kill him.

"Idiot. Did you really think that having a higher cultivation would automatically make you stronger than my puppets?" The puppet master muttered while looking at the dead cultivator.

He then moved his fingers again, ordering both puppets to return to their previous positions.

"Continue killing anyone who comes near me. And don’t let anyone disturb me unless they’re Sixth Order or above." He ordered. The two puppets immediately followed his commands and resumed attacking the nearby Anti-Emperor Faction soldiers.

Meanwhile, the puppet master once again turned his attention toward the battlefield. After searching for several more moments, his eyes suddenly stopped moving.

In the distance, he noticed a beautiful woman standing among a large group of soldiers. Several enemy soldiers around her were suddenly turning against their own comrades, attacking the people they had been fighting alongside only moments earlier.

The puppet master’s eyes immediately lit up.

"Lilith..." He muttered as a wide smile appeared on his face.

He had spent months gathering information about her, so he immediately recognised her appearance and the charm abilities she was using. However, instead of rushing toward her, he quickly began searching the surrounding area for his second target.

It did not take him long to find Amelia. Not far from Lilith’s position, thick roots were coming out of the ground and attacking the Emperor Faction’s soldiers. The roots moved through the battlefield like enormous snakes, disappearing beneath the ground before suddenly appearing again to pierce through their targets.

Seeing this, the puppet master could no longer hide his excitement.

"Hehehe! Finally found those two!" He said while slowly licking his lips.

His eyes moved between Lilith and Amelia, and the smile on his face continued growing.

"After searching for six whole months, I finally found both of you together. Who would have thought that joining this war would turn out to be the best decision I have made in years?"

The puppet master slowly raised his right hand, causing the faint mana threads around his fingers to become more visible.

"Saint Lilith and Saint Amelia..."

"Your blood essence is going to help me create something that this world has never seen before." He whispered with an excited expression.

He then looked toward his two puppets, which were still killing enemy soldiers nearby.

"Come back. I’ve finally found what I came here for." He ordered. The moment they heard his command, both puppets immediately stopped attacking and returned to his side. The puppet master looked at his two creations before turning his attention back toward Lilith and Amelia.

"These two are nothing compared to what I’m going to create with your blood."

"Once I complete my Ultimate Living Puppet, I won’t need to rely on these imperfect creations anymore."

Meanwhile, Lilith was still controlling several enemy soldiers when she suddenly felt someone staring at her. She turned her head and noticed a strange man standing in the distance with two powerful puppets beside him.

At first, she did not think much of him. However, when she noticed the way he was staring at her, her expression slowly became serious.

There was something strange about the man’s smile. He was not looking at her like an ordinary enemy who wanted to kill her. Instead, he was staring at her with the same excitement that a researcher might show after finally finding something he had been searching for.

Lilith immediately felt uncomfortable.

’What’s wrong with that man?’ She thought while narrowing her eyes.

At the same time, Amelia also noticed the puppet master. Although she was standing some distance away, she could sense the powerful mana coming from the two puppets beside him.

Realising that the man was most likely a Sixth Order cultivator, Amelia slowly turned her attention toward him.

The puppet master noticed that both women were now looking in his direction. Instead of becoming worried, he smiled even more widely.

"Wonderful! Both of you have finally noticed me." He said before taking a step forward.

Lilith looked toward Amelia, who was standing a short distance away.

"Amelia, I think we have a troublesome enemy coming toward us." Lilith said.

Amelia glanced at the two puppets standing beside the man before nodding. "I can see that. Those two puppets are both at the Beginner Sixth Order, and their master is also a Sixth Order cultivator." Amelia replied.

Lilith looked at the puppet master again before a small smile appeared on her face.

"Then I suppose we should deal with him together." Amelia did not disagree.
