Chapter 647: Huanying Male God

A strange scene was unfolding on the streets of Huanying City.

A group of men were glaring daggers at Ye Wushuang, while another group of women had their eyes fixed on Mengg Yiren.

"Bastard! This young lady is of noble status. How dare a lowly commoner like you defile her? Have you forgotten your place? Let go of her with your filthy hands, now!"

The young man spoke again, his words dripping with arrogance as he insulted Ye Wushuang for his lowly status and for defiling Mengg Yiren.

He was simply driven mad by jealousy. Why should Ye Wushuang get to attend to such a peerless beauty, and not them?

What enraged them even more was that this man’s arm was wrapped around the peerless beauty’s waist in such a provocative and intimate manner. It was utterly unforgivable.

"Let go of her!"

"Don’t forget your station! You’re just an attendant. Defiling your mistress is a crime punishable by the laws of the Huanying Empire."

Ye Wushuang understood. They had mistaken him for Mengg Yiren’s attendant.

He didn’t realize, however, that his threat to spank her had made the men’s expressions turn even more thunderous. In their eyes, his audacity was simply off the charts.

With his arm still around a teeth-gritting Mengg Yiren, Ye Wushuang called out to the Xiaoo Yue Celestial Roc, who wore a strange expression, and started to walk away.

"She’s no one to us!"

The two answered coldly without hesitation. They wished Mengg Yiren meant something to them, but in reality, there was no connection.

"Then do you know her?"

Ye Wushuang’s smile widened as he asked again.

Seeing Ye Wushuang press the issue, the two men frowned. After a brief pause, one said, "We don’t."

"You don’t."

Ye Wushuang nodded, his smile vanishing instantly. His gaze was as sharp as a sword as he stared at the two men. "Since you say she’s no one to you and you don’t know her, then what I’m doing with her is none of your damn business. Are you just that pathetic, blocking my path?"

As he spoke, Ye Wushuang took a domineering step forward.

"You defile a mistress, break the laws of the Huanying Country, and still show no remorse! You deserve to die!"

The two men’s gazes turned murderous. Ye Wushuang had dared to insult them so crudely, sparking their killing intent. They would kill him first and deal with the consequences later.

As the two men charged, two sharp cracks echoed. Before anyone could see clearly what had happened, the pair were sent flying like scarecrows.

"Miss Mingxi, this man has violated the laws of the Huanying Country! We can’t let him off lightly!" Seeing the woman step forward, the young man was overjoyed. He hurriedly spoke up, hoping to use this Miss Mingxi to kill Ye Wushuang.

Before the young man could even react, Mingxi sent him reeling with a backhanded slap, leaving him stunned.

Then, Mingxi walked toward Ye Wushuang, but her gaze ultimately fell upon Mengg Yiren. She suddenly issued a challenge: "I challenge you!"
