May Sloane had talked to her about it before, but she hadn’t expected that the girl rented her parents’ house for live streaming.

"I’m here to apologize for what I did last night."

Mila Quinn looked at her in confusion, "Last night?"

"Yes."

Mila opened the door wider and stepped out, looking at her suspiciously, "What did you do last night?"

Tiana Thorne, "???"

Seeing her bewilderment, Mila asked again, "Are you planning to start streaming, to steal my job?"

Tiana took a deep breath, trying to calm her excitement, and asked, "Do you have sheep?"

"Sheep?"

Mila looked around, pointing at a cautious-looking cat, "I only have two animals at home: me and that cat. How could I raise sheep with my small stature?"

Upon hearing this, Tiana’s face turned pale, mumbling to herself, "How could this happen...?"

Mila furrowed her brows, looking at her dumbfoundedly, "What’s going on?"

Tiana said, "Sorry for disturbing you."

Then she turned and ran away.

Mila quickly called out, "Miss Thorne, if you plan to stream, as your landlord, I can promote you."

"No need, thank you."

Having said that, she drove away.

On the way, feeling irritable, she desperately tried to recall what she did last night, but it was all serene.

She even remembered a dream.

In the dream, she went back to her previous life as a fox, joyfully wandering through the forest.

If the neighbor’s family didn’t have sheep, why did her brother deceive her?

She could only investigate herself.

She arrived at the Thorne family home.

Sean Thorne saw she was in good spirits and felt at ease.

"Tiana, what did the doctor say?"

Tiana quietly said, "Dad, the doctor said it’s not severe, just need to take some vitamin tablets."

"That’s good. Stay for lunch."

She nodded, "Okay."

After that, she went to the security room to pull up the surveillance footage from last night.

She indeed saw herself walking out of the room, then downstairs, lingering in the living room, peeling an apple, and then leaving with the fruit knife.

These scenes all proved that she had indeed gone out.

"Copy the surveillance video for me."

If not for her face, she would’ve almost thought she was a ghost.

She took a deep breath, easing the oppression in her heart, and said softly, "I feel uneasy today. I’ve never felt like this before. Can you come back early and keep me company?"

This seemed to be the first time she called him, wanting him to keep her company.

The only time since they’d been together for so long.

Aiden certainly wouldn’t refuse; last night, although he told her she injured a sheep, the bloody scent would still make someone uneasy.
