Chapter 2908: Chapter 98: Don’t Even Think About Taking Him (2)

Ben Lucas looked at the pale pink color on her earlobe, his gaze profound: "The senior leader is not so easily angered. He wants to matchmake the Connor family girl, so he might make some moves soon."

Ben Lucas knew that Commander Nelson wouldn’t give up so easily.

Commander Nelson and Commander Connor bickered and complained, but they were inseparable old friends.

If Harrison Lucas wasn’t his favored ’little boyfriend,’ perhaps Ben Lucas thought that setting up Harrison Lucas and Jennifer Connor for a relationship wouldn’t be a bad idea.

But now, he had selfish desires, and this treasure he secretly kept couldn’t be allowed to be coveted by others.

Ben Lucas: "Our relationship isn’t suitable to be known by others in the military just yet."

He was already considering their future.

He took the first step, told his mother to terminate the engagement with Molly Lewis, and prepared to take Debby back home during the long vacation to announce their relationship in front of his parents.

But the second step got stuck here at the military.

Ben Lucas knew if he announced his relationship with Harrison Lucas, then perhaps only one of them would be able to stay in the military.

Even though society now is free, and love is free, in the military, his relationship with Harrison Lucas would still face many obstacles.

Harrison Lucas didn’t know Ben Lucas’s inner worries, looked at him frowning, subconsciously wanting to ease his troubles: "I don’t mind at all. I don’t mind not letting others know our relationship."

"But I mind." Ben Lucas’s long fingers gently caressed the soft skin at the back of her neck, speaking in a low, deep voice: "I very much mind others not knowing you’re mine. Debby, I want to introduce you to others so they wouldn’t dare covet or hit on you anymore."

"..." Harrison Lucas’s heart warmly stirred by Ben Lucas’s infinitely affectionate words, "Actually, actually it’s nothing... My identity is fundamentally unsuitable with Miss Connor, if she..."

Ben Lucas: "This has nothing to do with identity. I just hate the way she looks at you."

That brazen, fervent gaze, he hated seeing Jennifer Connor’s eyes chasing after Harrison Lucas.

Harrison Lucas: "..."

Between the two of them, it was completely a case of talking past each other.

Harrison Lucas’s mention of identity only referred to her ’daughter identity.’

But Ben Lucas thought she was talking about her social status, unfit for Jennifer Connor.

Thinking about Commander Nelson’s words to Jennifer Connor before leaving, Harrison Lucas knew the senior leader hadn’t given up.

Ben Lucas: "This won’t do. The Commander will definitely take the opportunity of my absence to get you to meet with that woman."

Just the thought of Harrison Lucas sitting together with Jennifer Connor for matchmaking filled Ben Lucas with a strong surge of jealousy.

He squinted his eyes, his deep black pupils flashing cold light.

Suddenly, he thought of a way to counteract.

Ben Lucas: "Debby, get ready, we’re leaving tonight."

Harrison Lucas was feeling comfortable from Ben Lucas’s massage, still in a daze, and asked with a confused expression upon hearing his words: "Tonight... where are we heading?"

Ben Lucas: "To the Western Region. There’s an exercise mission in the Western Region recently, and I’ve been idle for so long, it’s about time to move my muscles."

Harrison Lucas: "..."

...

That night, Ben Lucas ended his vacation in advance, and with Harrison Lucas, directly boarded a military plane, suddenly parachuting into the Western base camp.

As Commander Nelson was still pondering an excuse to get Ben Lucas out of the way tomorrow and arrange for Harrison Lucas to meet alone with Jennifer Connor, upon receiving the news and attempting to prevent it, Ben Lucas had already arrived at their destination with Harrison Lucas.
