If I weren’t afraid that the Major General would get angry upon waking up to a bed full of dirt, I wouldn’t have dared to sneak into the Major General’s room early in the morning to try and clean the bed for him.

Yesterday’s punishment had directly worn this guy out, and he thought that today Harrison would be a bit more obedient. Unexpectedly, upon waking up in the morning, ’he’ completely disregarded yesterday’s lesson.
