Chapter 2811: Chapter 1: Ben Lucas, His Young Master

"Sir, here are Miss Molly’s exam results from this period, please have a look."

Inside a small but exquisitely built three-story building within the military compound, a young man with black short hair gently knocked on the door. After receiving a response from inside, he lightly placed a report card on the wide desk cluttered with numerous documents.

The man sitting behind the desk wore a neatly pressed military uniform. His stature, nearly six feet three, was tall and slender, carrying an imposing momentum that was impossible to overlook.

He did not raise his eyes; he only slightly darkened his long, dark eyes, his already cold eyebrows slightly furrowing.

The chiseled and angular face made him appear even more indifferent.

"Hmm." The man simply made a faint sound, and if it weren’t Harrison Lucas, who had been by his side since childhood, bringing in the report card, the stern and harsh Ben Lucas might not have responded at all.

Watching the man at the office desk not even lift his head, the young man with a clean and neat short haircut whispered, "Sir, Madam said you haven’t called Miss Molly for a long time to ask how she is."

The young man’s voice was clean and clear, like a winter spring without a trace of impurity.

This was the kind of voice the man liked to hear most when dealing with busy official duties, but now, he didn’t like it.

"Harrison." The man sitting at the desk finally raised his eyes. When he looked up, he cast a glance at the young man with his dark eyes, "I mentioned that matters regarding Molly are not to be reported during work hours. You should know, I have an important mission at the moment."

The glance the man lifted towards Harrison was so cold and profound that it was enough to freeze a person.

However, it was precisely this nearly expressionless and indifferent act that made the young man’s heart stop heavily for a moment.

Every time he was directly acknowledged by the eldest son, Harrison’s heart was tense and cautious.

This tension and caution weren’t because of fear, but because... this man was Ben Lucas.

Ben Lucas, the eldest son of the Lucas family born with a silver spoon.

He was supposed to take over the top multinational corporation under his father Mr. Lucas’ hand—the Royal Palace Finance Group, controlling the business world with a flip of his hand.

Yet, he chose a different path, entering from an early age the uniquely navigated further education system, known for its strict and strength-respected military management school—the Royal Military Academy.

In B City’s Royal Military Academy, he underwent rigorous training, relying on his outstanding strength to jump from ordinary classes into the Command System.

During his academy tenure, he led a squad to over-complete tasks in several real combat drills, and at just over a decade old, he successfully graduated from the academy and entered the military headquarters.

The last time the Royal Military Academy had seen a student as extraordinary as him, nearly breaking the academy’s graduation record, was almost forty years ago with Marshal Coldwell.

Harrison: "Yes, Sir, I understand."

Harrison quietly lowered his head, not daring to let his gaze linger on the man’s exceptionally handsome face.

The man before him was too mesmerizing. Even though his face remained cold to the point of lacking any warmth, it still might easily draw someone in inadvertently.

It wasn’t just Harrison; even other subordinates who frequently came and went from the small building, following Ben Lucas, would sometimes find themselves staring in a daze at Major General Lucas’ face.

Clearly, this man’s face was handsome yet chillingly intimidating, but it just happened to have the power to entice people to forget everything else.

If others were like this, then never mind Harrison.

Harrison was a descendant of the Ninth Branch of the Lucas family, sent from the branch family to the main family of Lucas to accompany the eldest son, who was not yet a year old at the time, in his growth.

From the moment he first saw the eldest son, Harrison understood one thing—his ’self’ belonged to the eldest son, his life was the eldest son’s.

Even his heart was.
