Chapter 52: Chapter 52: Eight Flowers

Soon Clara’s body calmed. Her back sank into the sofa’s soft cushions. Her moans softened to their usual quiet tone, and the heat in her body finally subsided. The difference was stark—her already smooth skin looked even smoother now, and the ends of her short black hair had taken on soft pink highlights.

When Clara opened her eyes, she couldn’t see. She still felt the weight of her glasses on her nose, yet her vision was completely blurred. She reached up, confirmed they were still there, then took them off. Instantly her vision became perfect.

The first thing she saw was Xavier’s face right in front of hers, his hand buried deep between her deep cleavage, pressed flat against her chest.

"At least your temperature is normal now," he said.

Everything about Clara had changed in the space of a few minutes. The most unnatural change was her eyes. Instead of ordinary round pupils, they were now heart-shaped—something she hadn’t noticed yet, but Xavier could see clearly set against her bright pink irises.

"It’s strange... I don’t know how, but my vision is fixed. I can see clearly now," she said.

Xavier gestured for her to look down. She noticed the winged heart mark sitting right above her pussy.

"Do you know what this means?" he asked.

To him it was obvious. He had studied this species in depth back in the Drakenfell Library. Womb markings were exclusive to the succubus race—a demonic species known for draining men of their energy and devouring them afterward.

Clara’s eyes widened in shock. She recognized the mark as well. Her first fear was what Xavier would think of her if he believed she was a demon. She herself was confused. Both of her parents were human. How could she be a succubus?

"Xavier, please believe me. I don’t know anything about this," she said, with worry and desperation.

Xavier had a gut feeling she wasn’t lying. Maybe he was biased because he liked her plump body so much, but he chose to believe her anyway.

"It’s okay. I believe you. But we can’t let anyone else find out about this." He placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her.

"Can you shift your eyes back to normal?" he asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean look at your face."

Clara leaned sideways and caught her reflection in the smooth glass surface of the table beside the sofa.

"Wow... so sparkly," she murmured, staring at her bright pink eyes and heart-shaped pupils. She focused her senses on them and realized two things .

First, her mana reserves had more than doubled in size and second, her eyes were constantly draining a small amount of that mana.

She cut off the supply. Immediately her eyes shifted back to their usual brown. "I still don’t understand how any of this could have happened," she said.

"Well, a succubus gains power from semen. If the idea is right, then after I came inside you twice, flooding your insides and womb with my cum, the traces of the demonic gene in your body finally hit the threshold, absorbed the energy, and forced the change," Xavier explained.

Once things had settled, he warned her to be careful with her mana control. She must never let the succubus eyes slip out in public. If anyone discovered she was from a demonic race, it would not end well for her.

His gaze lingered on the womb marking. It was awfully erotic—sitting right above her recently-fucked pussy, still faintly glistening with the mess he’d left inside her.

"What should I do about this?" she asked, rubbing her fingers slowly over the mark.

"For now, you can’t do anything about it. Just try to read more about succubi—their lifestyles, their needs, their abilities. Since you don’t know anything about your own race, that’s where you should start"

Soon after, he got dressed, picked up the research book Clara had given him, and left her to return to her assistant librarian duties. He headed straight for Thornveil dorms.

He entered quietly, avoiding other students, and went down to the basement, all the way to the back wall covered in vines. He sat cross-legged on the floor and opened the book. He only needed to pick one flower from each season, starting with the current one—spring.

He flipped through the pages until he found a Spring flower, a Rainbell with white petals curved into a soft bell shape. He activated his magical beast ability, sharpened his senses, and slowly reached toward it. In one swift motion he plucked the flower by its stem. The vines didn’t move at all. They didn’t try to grab or strangle him. They simply stayed where they were.

He flipped further, found the next seasonal flower—an Auroriel that bloomed in HighSpring, its petals shaded pink and gold—and plucked it. Again, the vines remained still. One by one he worked through every season:

- Sunspire from Summer

- CinderRose from HighSummer

- Goldweaver from Autumn

- Mistveil from Fall

- FrostLily from Winter

- NightSorrow from DeepWinter

The moment he plucked Night Sorrow, the vines on the wall began to shift. He stepped back instantly, but they didn’t follow him. Instead, they tangled together, clearing the center of the wall until the twisted vines formed the frame of a doorway, revealing bare stone behind them.

Xavier approached and examined the stone. When his hand pressed against one particular brick, it sank inward. The entire wall parted down the middle and slid aside, opening a passage. He stepped through without hesitation.

Inside he found a room completely covered in green vines—walls, ceiling, and floor—studded here and there with thorns. Hundreds, maybe thousands of flowers bloomed everywhere, lit by large mana crystals that glowed with a soft blue light. These crystals were different from the ones in Emberfell or the ones behind the wall clock. They were bigger and cast the whole chamber in a cool blue shade.

In the exact center rested a box, identical in style to the ones he had found in Emberfell and Dawncrest. This one was wrapped in vines, but unlike the rest of the room the vines held no flowers and no thorns. Instead, they were pierced by eight small holes.

It wasn’t hard to figure out. He was holding eight flowers in his hand. He inserted them one by one in the order he had collected them. When the final flower—Night Sorrow—slotted into place, the lid of the box opened, revealing another missing piece of the pendant.
