Chapter 49: Chapter 49: Tea Or Coffee

"I figured I should just join you in the lake next time."

"And why would you want to do that?" Sylvia asked.

"If you saw something beautiful, would you simply let it go? That’s how I feel about you," Xavier said.

Sylvia remained speechless, staring at him, searching for a lie in his words and finding none. The blush returned to her cheeks.

"I would like to get to know you better. We can become friends," Xavier continued.

"All right. Since you’re so persistent, I’ll let you join me the next time I take a dip in the lake,"

"Which dorm are you from?" Xavier asked.

"Don’t worry about that. Just tell me your dorm and room. I’ll send word the next time I plan to visit here."

It was clear Sylvia still didn’t fully trust him. This was her first time meeting such a strange freshman, and she couldn’t figure out his real motive for wanting to get close to her.

"Is he going to join you?" she asked, shifting her gaze to Allen, who still lay unconscious on the ground.

"Oh no. He has no interest in such things. It would just be me and you alone, unless you decide to bring one of your friends"

"Huh. We’ll see about that." Sylvia snapped her fingers. Strong gusts of wind rose around them as a huge hawk landed beside her, its body towering over ten feet—even larger than the saber-toothed beast Xavier had encountered earlier.

Sylvia climbed onto its back. "Well then, I’ll see you later," she said. The hawk opened its massive wings, flapped once, and disappeared into the night, leaving Xavier and Allen alone in the forest.

Xavier picked Allen up, threw him over his shoulder, and carried him back to Emberfell dorms. The gathering room was empty—it was already past midnight. He laid Allen on one of the sofas and returned to his own room.

The next morning Xavier got dressed for another day at the academy. He headed to the lecture hall for Professor Jean Woodburn’s four-hour diplomacy lecture. He had no idea how he would look the man in the eyes after fucking his wife so ruthlessly. He wondered if Lilith had already told him about it.

Elena was already there when he entered. He sat next to her. Melli joined them a few minutes later. They greeted each other with quiet "Good mornings."

"Did something happen yesterday? You didn’t come to the Alchemy lecture," Xavier asked Melli.

"Oh, I’ve decided to drop that subject. I tried it, but it’s not for me," she said. "This year I don’t want to burden myself with subjects that challenge me. I can do that after passing the basics of diplomacy and basic mana control." Melli was repeating those two subjects because she hadn’t managed passing marks in her first year. She was a genius in everything else—enough to secure her rank and a luxurious dorm room—but diplomacy and mana control still escaped her.

"That makes sense," Elena added.

Professor Jean Woodburn entered the classroom and the hall fell silent. His eyes landed on Xavier. He stopped for a moment, then continued to the podium and began another long, theory-heavy lecture.

Throughout the class his gaze kept returning to Xavier. Xavier noticed it early. Before ending the lecture, Woodburn stared at him one last time and left.

"Did you notice he was constantly staring at us?" Elena asked.

"Did we do something wrong? I don’t want to fail this subject again," Melli added in a worried tone. Neither of them realized the professor’s attention had been fixed on Xavier alone.

They left the classroom and headed to the cafeteria. Melli’s thick, soft thighs jiggled with every step, making soft boing-boing sounds the entire way, the heavy gelatinous flesh swaying under her skirt.

After lunch the two girls went on to their next lecture. Xavier was free, so he decided to visit the alchemy lab.

"My love, what are you doing here?" Nyxara was preparing for the third-years’ experiment when she saw him walk through the door. The lab was still empty; her lecture hadn’t started yet.

Xavier closed the distance and took her lips in a tight kiss. His hands squeezed her plump, soft ass firmly as she pulled him into a tight embrace, returning the kiss with equal intensity, her full breasts pressing against him.

"Should I cancel the third-year students’ lecture so we can go straight to my quarters?" Nyxara asked, voice already breathy.

"As much as I would love to, I’m not here for that. We can do it next time," Xavier said.

"Oh? Do you need something? How can I help?"

"Do you have one of those minor healing potions below ninety-five percent purity?" he asked.

Nyxara swirled her fingers. The cabinet behind her opened. "Take as many as you want. I’ve already graded them."

Xavier took one, slipped it into his pocket, and kissed her again in thanks, lingering a moment longer on her soft lips.

Just as their lips parted, a third-year student walked in.

"Thanks, Professor, for clearing my doubt. I’ll be leaving now," Xavier said, loud enough for the student to hear, then left the lab.

He went straight to the library on the tenth floor. At the reception desk he found Clara Sinns sitting behind the huge curved marble desk, reading a book.

She was so engrossed she only noticed the approaching figure from the corner of her eye. She greeted without lifting her head.

"Yes, how can I help—"

"Shouldn’t you be in your bed, resting?" Xavier cut in.

Clara looked up, recognizing the familiar voice. "Oh, it’s you. Xavier, right?"

"How can you already be back filling in as assistant librarian? Weren’t you banged up pretty badly?"

"Oh no. Thanks to you the wounds were only shallow. I’m all right now. Actually, I wanted to talk to you." She led him into a staff room just behind the reception. It was empty except for a few sofas, a table, and a cabinet filled with exotic sweets, teas, and coffees of every flavor.

She gestured for him to sit, then turned toward the cabinet.

"Would you like some tea? Or coffee perhaps?" she asked, opening the cabinet.

Xavier stepped close behind her. While she stood with her back to him, he lifted her mini skirt all the way up, revealing her plump, soft ass still marked with thorn scratches. The full, round cheeks jiggled slightly as the fabric rose.
