Dominator Emperor
Chapter 504: Five Elements Immortal Armor
“He entered the All Immortal Realms,” Li Qiye said, looking at Xian Fan in the sky.
Lan Yunzhu was visibly moved. Even the Treasure Turtle Daoist standing beside her was stunned. “Sir, how could you possibly know that?” he asked in astonishment.
This matter had been extremely confidential. People of Treasure Turtle Daoist’s stature weren’t gossips, so it was unlikely something like this would ever leak.
“It’s simple. I knew the moment I saw his Five Elements Immortal Armor,” Li Qiye said with a faint smile. “That item has always been hidden away in the All Immortal Realms; virtually no one in this world has ever seen it. The only way to obtain it is to enter the All Immortal Realms. If you can fight your way out alive from its deepest parts, you’re bound to come away with something—like this Five Elements Immortal Armor, for instance!”
“You know of the All Immortal Realms, Sir?” the Treasure Turtle Daoist asked, astonished. “But… this is an extremely secret matter. Very few outsiders know of it.”
“That applies to others, not to me,” Li Qiye said with a smile. “Future generations all claim that the Earth Fool Immortal Emperor discovered a Supreme Treasure in the First Evil Tomb, but that’s not the case at all. It has nothing to do with a treasure. What the Earth Fool Immortal Emperor actually obtained was an Immortal Land—the very same place the Yu Shan Old Immortal Kingdom calls the All Immortal Realms!”
At this point, Li Qiye smiled at the Treasure Turtle Daoist. “What do you know about this fellow?” he asked, jutting his chin toward Xian Fan, who was facing off against Emperor’s Throne.
The Treasure Turtle Daoist shook his head. “Very little. I attended the ceremony when the Yu Shan Old Immortal Kingdom appointed their heir, but I never even got a glimpse of him. Outsiders know almost nothing of his origins, and even the disciples of the Yu Shan Old Immortal Kingdom know little more than the fact he was named the heir. It seems the Immortal Country is extremely secretive about his identity.”
“Interesting,” Li Qiye mused, stroking his chin as he observed Xian Fan, who was completely encased in the Five Elements Immortal Armor.
Appointing an heir for a Great Teaching Territory, especially for an Emperor Immortal Gate, was a monumental and solemn affair. Moreover, to become the heir of such a power, one had to pass the sect’s rigorous trials!
For someone like Xian Fan to become the heir of the Yu Shan Old Immortal Kingdom while his identity and origins remained so secret was a rare occurrence among the Great Teaching Territories.
“However, I heard there was a reason Xian Fan was chosen as the heir,” the Treasure Turtle Daoist said. “The rumor is that he opened the All Immortal Realms. In truth, the outside world knows very little about the Yu Shan Old Immortal Kingdom’s All Immortal Realms. The stories say that after opening it and being named heir, Xian Fan entered the All Immortal Realms, and no one has heard anything about him since.”
“Not surprising,” Li Qiye said, his gaze fixed on the armor-clad Xian Fan. “The fact that he obtained the Five Elements Immortal Armor is proof enough of his extraordinariness. With his aptitude and strength, it wouldn’t be strange at all for him to one day rule the Yu Shan Old Immortal Kingdom.”
“Is that armor really so powerful?” Lan Yunzhu couldn’t help but ask.
“‘Powerful’ doesn’t even begin to cover it. Its origins are terrifyingly ancient,” Li Qiye said. “Furthermore, the Five Elements Immortal Armor isn’t something one can obtain just by wishing for it. Without the right tempering and fortuitous encounters, even an Immortal Emperor might not be able to acquire it. It’s far more than just a simple suit of Immortal Armor.”
BOOM! After a brief standoff, Emperor’s Throne suddenly struck. His hand formed a Celestial Seal that descended, seemingly caging the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands within the Hand Seal. The stars dimmed, and the sun and moon lost their luster.
As the Celestial Seal descended, it felt like an Emperor’s Seal crashing down with unstoppable might and irreversible momentum. Millions of living beings trembled like subjects before an Emperor’s Power.
The attack from Emperor’s Throne shook all creation and made the Celestial Vault tremble. Everyone, young and old, felt a shiver of fear in their hearts. His reputation was truly well-deserved; his every move was world-shaking.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! However, Xian Fan’s Five Elements Immortal Armor suddenly shot out innumerable pieces of Feather Armor. In an instant, they constructed a golden great wall, stretching majestically for millions of miles across the sky, an impregnable fortress against any foe.
BOOM! Even though the seal of Emperor’s Throne could envelop the stars and moon, it was unable to breach the great wall of Feather Armor. The wall shook violently from the impact but remained unbroken.
No one had expected the Divine Armor on Xian Fan to be so miraculous. It wasn’t just armor; it was also a weapon—one of unpredictable transformations.
“Let’s take this beyond the heavens! Bring out your Emperor Artifact. I don’t want to have an advantage over you in weaponry,” Xian Fan declared with supreme confidence. With a long cry, he soared like a dragon and ascended like a phoenix, stepping into the air. With the speed of a comet, he shot past the Celestial Vault and into the Celestial Universe.
Emperor’s Throne’s expression hardened. He gave a great shout, and his Red Fire Qilin let out a long cry as crimson flames billowed to the sky. In an instant, it too stepped into the Celestial Universe, chasing after Xian Fan.
“A battle beyond the heavens?” Many people looked at each other in dismay. ‘Isn’t that a type of battle reserved for the highest echelons?’ Many times, only beings like Great Sages or Immortal Emperors would use the space beyond the sky as their battlefield.
The reason was simple: if such Heaven-Defying existences were to fight on the ground, few places could withstand their destructive power. Even a fortified Holy Land Divine Soil might not be able to endure it.
“They’re practically Young Immortal Emperors. To take the fight beyond the heavens right from the start… that’s just too domineering,” someone muttered.
But it wasn’t an exaggeration. If an existence like Emperor’s Throne were to truly bring out an Emperor Artifact, its peerless might would surely shatter mountains and sunder seas. Choosing to fight beyond the heavens was a logical decision.
“Let’s go watch!” As Emperor’s Throne and Xian Fan rushed into the Celestial Universe, many members of the older generation followed. It was a duel between geniuses that no one wanted to miss. Heirs and prodigies from many Great Teaching Territories rushed after them. However, those with insufficient Dao Practice were left behind. Entering the Celestial Vault was no easy task; it required a powerful Cultivator to traverse the Celestial Universe alone, or someone who possessed a world-shaking treasure.
“Should we go take a look?” Lan Yunzhu asked Li Qiye. A battle between geniuses like this was bound to be spectacular. Watching it would surely be enlightening.
Li Qiye smiled, shook his head, and said with a distinct lack of interest, “There’s nothing to see. No matter how Heaven-Defying Emperor’s Throne is, he won’t be able to kill that fellow. Even with an Immortal Emperor True Artifact, he won’t be able to break the Five Elements Immortal Armor’s defense.”
“The Five Elements Immortal Armor is that powerful?” Lan Yunzhu asked, her expression changing. In the eyes of all Cultivators, an Immortal Emperor True Artifact was an invincible weapon.
“It’s not just that the Five Elements Immortal Armor is powerful,” Li Qiye said, shaking his head. “Anyone who can return alive from the All Immortal Realms with the Five Elements Immortal Armor in hand is definitely no weaker than Emperor’s Throne.”
Hearing this, Lan Yunzhu’s expression grew serious. As a genius herself, she aimed to challenge figures like the Three Heroes of the Netherworld. Now, with the addition of Xian Fan, she undoubtedly had another rival to consider.
Just as Li Qiye was about to return to camp, a Daoist suddenly appeared. He held an old banner, and though he wasn’t old, he had the appearance of a seasoned veteran, a mysterious smile perpetually on his face.
“Heh, my lord, I’ve finally found you!” the Daoist who had just appeared said with an eager smile.
Lan Yunzhu was also surprised by the Daoist’s sudden appearance. “You’re from the Heart Demon Clan? There are very few members of the Heart Demon Clan in this day and age.”
The Heart Demon Clan was a mysterious branch of the Ghost Race in the Ghost Sacred Realm. They were experts in divination, able to even divine the future. Legend said their clan had suffered a celestial punishment, forcing them into seclusion.
This was none other than the Suan Tian Daoist who had read Li Qiye’s fortune outside the Thousand Islands. Unsurprised at being identified by Lan Yunzhu, he grinned and said, “Blue Fairy is truly worthy of being the Qianli River’s heir. Your insight is like a torch, unparalleled in this world.”
“Alright, enough with the flattery. Did you figure it out or not?” Li Qiye said to the Suan Tian Daoist.
Hearing this, the Suan Tian Daoist immediately perked up. He glanced around, and seeing no one else, cautiously and solemnly took out a piece of Yellow Paper. He handed it carefully to Li Qiye, saying, “I have not failed your trust, my lord. The results of the divination are written here.”
Li Qiye looked at the Yellow Paper in his hand, then fixed his gaze on the Suan Tian Daoist. “Are you absolutely sure? There are no mistakes?”
“Absolutely no mistakes. I, this humble one, can guarantee it with my life,” the Suan Tian Daoist said with grave solemnity. “My lord, to divine this for you, I had to act in defiance of the heavens. I nearly invited a celestial punishment and was almost reduced to ashes!”
Lan Yunzhu was very curious. ‘What did Li Qiye have a member of the Heart Demon Clan divine for him?’ Seeing their solemn expressions, she knew it must be something extraordinary. Unfortunately, she couldn’t see what was written on the Yellow Paper before Li Qiye put it away.
“Good. You’ve done me a great service, so I’ll grant you a great Creation in return. Follow me into the First Evil Tomb, and a fortunate encounter will surely await you,” Li Qiye said to the Suan Tian Daoist after putting away the Yellow Paper.
The Suan Tian Daoist was instantly overjoyed. “I knew my lord was a great benefactor!” he said with a wide grin. “It is my great fortune to have met you.”
Lan Yunzhu couldn’t help but shake her head. ‘This guy is such a sycophant.’ What she didn’t know, however, was that when the Suan Tian Daoist had read Li Qiye’s palm in the past, he had been scared witless, as if he had seen a real ghost.
“We’re going to open the First Evil Tomb now,” Li Qiye immediately told the Treasure Turtle Daoist. “Once inside, whether or not you find your own Creation will depend on your own opportunities.”
“Break camp! We’re entering the First Evil Tomb!” Hearing Li Qiye’s words, the Treasure Turtle Daoist immediately gave the order, unable to contain his excitement.
In fact, the Treasure Turtle Daoist wasn’t the only one who was excited; even the Elders of the Qianli River were thrilled.
The First Evil Tomb—a place coveted by countless people since time immemorial.
They had never imagined they would have the chance to enter the First Evil Tomb in their lifetimes. For countless people throughout the ages, simply living in an era when the First Evil Tomb opened was an incredible stroke of luck in itself.
Outside the First Evil Tomb, while many Cultivators were lamenting their inability to go beyond the heavens and witness the battle between Emperor’s Throne and Xian Fan, someone noticed that the Qianli River contingent had already broken camp. Led by Li Qiye, the Elders of the Qianli River were heading toward the giant stele that marked the First Evil Tomb.
