"What company do you work for?" Hearing Tiana’s words, a flicker of surprise flashed in Leo Joyce’s eyes. He set down the clothes in his hands and turned to look at her.

Tiana Grayson sat on the edge of the bed and answered quietly, her mind elsewhere, "Veridia Group."

"Veridia Group??" Leo Joyce’s brow furrowed, his composure completely gone.

"Is there a problem?" Tiana was a little startled by his reaction and asked in a small, anxious voice.

"No, no problem. How long have you worked there?" Leo Joyce knew his reaction was too extreme. ’But he’d been in Country M for a month and had spent almost every day with the CEO of Veridia Group. He’d wandered around Veridia Group’s offices quite a bit, so how had he never seen Tiana? Fine, the timing was wrong this year, but what about last year and the year before? They didn’t pack anything. In the end, Tiana just grabbed her laptop, phone, and wallet, not taking a single item of clothing.

Their flight was a little after one in the afternoon. They didn’t even eat at home before driving straight to the airport.
