Chapter 4802 Setting Up A New Home
Chapter 4802 Setting Up A New Home
"Is that even a question?" Isabella did not answer. She first asked and responded, "You have seen how we live. Glory and abundance are nice, but that is not what we're truly after. We just want to survive, so anything exposing should be avoided currently."
"Of course, we aren't exposing anything." Fairy Thunderblaze shook her head, "We wouldn't be overtly ruling. We will be hidden in the shadows, controlling the course of the continent just like that Divine Exalt, but we'll be much fairer yet still suppressive." Fairy Thunderblaze said as though it was a matter of fact, her gaze calm.
"We aren't looking to rule anyone."
"How are you claiming to be an Empress if you aren't ruling anyone?" Fairy Thunderblaze asked.
"…" Isabella was at a loss for words. She sneered, "Aren't you quick to cheer up after those two slaps?"
"…" Fairy Thunderblaze ignored her easily, still moving her lips, "You're all very naive. The moment we all arrive here, the natural void barrier that hides this celestial body is going to be disrupted sooner or later. The people will notice. Merchants from outside would come pouring in as I acted. Explorers and pirates would be the first ones to arrive here. The people would start leaving the continent if we don't control their movements. Not only would the location of the celestial body be exposed, but we would also be exposed easily, so instead of going to the jungle, we must hide amongst the people and impose mandates that bar them from moving outside the celestial body."
The group suddenly came to a stop as Mingzhi stopped flying.
Mingzhi turned to look at Fairy Thunderblaze, "Good point. I hadn't thought about that. We'll do something about it after we settle first."
"I'm afraid taking them out of that ring will prove to be a disaster since there are so many Divergents inside."
Fairy Thunderblaze pointed to the Temporal Voidplane Ring in Isabella's hand, causing Mingzhi to be momentarily surprised.
Why was an ally aware of the Temporal Voidplane Ring? Even among the harem, only a few were aware at the moment. They didn't even bother telling Davis's brothers about these treasures.
"Why do you know that?" She asked with a faint smile, wondering if Davis had already opened up to her.
"I know everything about you all. Your secrets… your hidden treasures… your weaknesses…"
Fairy Thunderblaze panned her gaze across them. Her sharp gaze left them suddenly feeling stripped bare, even making Myria shiver. Her gaze landed on Evelynn, whose eyes narrowed. Evelynn saw her smile beyond her crimson veil.
Fairy Thunderblaze flew forward, appearing before Evelynn.
"So many replicas… it wouldn't be strange for you to hold a poison-attributed one, right? Evelynn?"
Evelynn glared at her, her third eye slowly opening, but she didn't make any moves.
Fairy Thunderblaze scoffed before moving to the forefront and continuing on as though she were the leader.
"But don't worry. As you said, I wouldn't ruin everything after coming this far. I will never expose your secrets, for you are all my cute little sisters and the Davis Imperial Family is mine to protect, the harem mine to rule."
"…"
Evelynn and the others could only watch her fly forward.
"What is going on?" Mingzhi blinked, turning to look towards Evelynn.
She had suppressed her curiosity, but couldn't anymore after watching this strange spectacle. She wondered if Davis had already bedded her for her to claim such a thing.
Evelynn pursed her lips, "It's a long story. Davis fought a Blood Realm Calamity in the Shard Continent. It absorbed his blood and exposed all his secrets, allowing her to learn the secrets of our family. Davis had mentioned it, but I didn't think it was this severe…"
"Huh? Then she isn't one of us yet?" Mingzhi was flabbergasted.
Wouldn't that make her a target to kill?
"Not really. It's really complicated." Shirley stepped forward, giggling, "Davis wants her but also wants to punish her for her wrongdoing. However, she wants him even more badly. How about I monitor her so you can stay at ease? Oh- Myria, what's wrong? Why are your hands shaking?"
"N-Nothing." Myria clenched her fist, "I was just thinking she couldn't be any more insolent."
"True. She is truly arrogant, and that makes me want to bully her badly~" Shirley giggled.
"…" Mingzhi couldn't tell if Fairy Thunderblaze's hostility extended past Evelynn, but it seemed like the words she said were indeed true. She couldn't detect any lies with Heart Intent.
Fairy Thunderblaze really did want to protect the Davis Family and run the harem. It was such a strange intent that she couldn't wrap her head around it, making her momentarily speechless.
"In that case-" Tia spoke up, "I'll set up a world concealment barrier with Myria and Zenova's help. At our stage and the labor of Empyrean slaves, it shouldn't be that hard. We also have the Exalt Grade resources we harvested from the secret realm, so not only does setting it up only require a few days' time, but with the same resources, we can considerably increase the earth vein's heaven and earth quality, allowing it to support Exalts."
Myria nodded, "True, even an Empyrean Grade Formation was able to cover the entire Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm when it was about to collapse and burn. No reason we can't do the same on a celestial body that's less than half the size of a Minor Realm when we have formation experts on our side."
"Great. Let's get started on both matters at once." Mingzhi responded decisively.
Fairy Thunderblaze's issue was too distracting for her that she threw it at the back of the head at the moment.
The group split into two.
Mingzhi, Isabella, Evelynn, Tanya, and Schleya continued forward.
"Schleya, if things go well, you would be one among the first to become an Exalt in our family because we have too many Blood Essence Orbs, the purest form of energy for your cultivation," Isabella revealed, causing Schleya's gaze to flash.
"That's great." Schleya's crimson hair swayed in the wind, her crimson eyes turning sharp.
A wild, magical beast bird swooped in on them from the skies as they tried to enter the Magical Beast Badlands. It was a High-Level Empyrean Beast.
Schleya took out her twin blades, Crescentblood, and painted the air with a bloody light with a wave of her blade. Without stopping, they continued to move as the avian magical beast split into two in their flight path, but the pouring downpour of blood couldn't touch them at all.
Seeing this scene, many wild magical beasts that seemed to be from its clan panicked and flew off.
Soon, they arrived at the mountain range and surveyed the area, getting rid of wild magical beasts either by killing or chasing them away. Within an hour, they gathered back and brought out Stella from the Temporal Voidplane Ring.
"Hehe~"
Stella still had a huge smile as she gave them a thumbs up.
With her figure descending onto the celestial body along with an entire mini-realm inside her containing numerous Divergents, the world utterly went silent for a moment. It felt like the celestial body floating in space had nearly dropped a few meters, making their hearts sink.
