They remembered Nadia was also like this in the beginning, refusing to think once she had her master to follow. Most magical beasts were inherently lazy, and their thought process was surprisingly straightforward and simple. If they were bloodthirsty, they would kill. If they were hungry, they would devour. If they were horny, they would mate.

Unlike the children, Mira and Freya weren't taught much in terms of education and social cues, even though their respective masters tried, so they had to learn by copying humans. Hence, they wouldn't grow and become mature as fast as human children. Their thought process was still simple, but, surprisingly, they could still be cunning and hard to deal with, as their natural-born gifts enabled them to navigate the world more effectively, depending on the environment.

"What about me? Why not ask my opinion?" Freya shook Davis, complaining that she was left alone.

'Because you are not my wife obviously…'

Davis swallowed his words and asked, "What do you think?"

"I think… I think… she needs a good spanking!" Freya's lips curled as she imagined slapping Fairy Thunderblaze's butt left and right. She giggled to herself, looking all eager.

'This is one innocently horny bird… always going after bouncy things…'

Davis coughed, trying to bring the conversation back as he saw Evelynn and Isabella nearly unable to control their laughter. However, he could relate to wanting to beat Fairy Thunderblaze's ass so many times until they became red and she shed tears of regret.

Inwardly, he was thankful to Freya and Mira for making the mood considerably lighter.

Nonetheless-

Davis took a breath, recalibrated his emotions, and said, "Unfortunately, I am opposed to this plan. If I also charm her, I would be no different than her. Besides, when the reverse charm breaks for some reason, she will ensure pandemonium grips the family. I'm going to try things my way, which already has deceit, yet I will still shower her with my genuine emotions. If she still doesn't fall for me completely and relegate herself to being an equal part of the harem, then…"

Davis lowered his head, his arms shivering, "Evelynn, I'll have to ask you to kill her for me since I presume I would be unable to do it after coming that far. If I can't endure it, I'll have Myria erase my memories of her."

In truth, he was going to ask Fallen Heaven to do that to completely get rid of the person known as Fairy Thunderblaze if he couldn't endure it. After he knew it could also erase memories, why wouldn't he rely on it?

If it's Fallen Heaven who is devouring his memories, then he was sure that nothing would leak back to his soul.

Evelynn and Isabella could hear the determination in his voice, but the sadness was also apparent. It seemed like he really wanted to make this right, cleaning up Fairy Thunderblaze's mess as though he was already his wife.

He did say that he considered her his woman already, so they were not surprised, but they certainly didn't want him to be sad.

Evelynn's lips quivered. She suddenly stood up and went on her knees, spreading her hands before she brought them together into a cupping fist.

"Evelynn, you…" Davis also stood up from her actions, wanting to stop her, but she was forceful.

He didn't dare put too much pressure for fear of breaking her bones. Besides, he couldn't harm anyone due to the restrictions in this region. Otherwise, there was some chance that he could be punished or thrown into the void.

"My beloved, I have vowed to kill any sister who falls out of love with you and ruins the harem with their disgusting actions. However, this is different. From what you stated, she is obsessed with you, and she cares too much about her dignity to give herself to someone else, so betrayal in that regard is out of the question. I cannot kill her for the reasons you have given, my love. Please forgive me."

"…" Davis's jaw nearly dropped. He hurriedly went towards her to first make her stand up.

"I apologize. I was a coward for even stating that to you."

Evelynn mildly shook her head, "Anything you can't endure, we will step in to deal with it. Like everyone else, we also know the weakness of the Divine Emperor of Death."

She lightly smiled, raising her arms to envelop him in an embrace.

"Your unwavering concern and affection for us is what envelops us with such warmth. We don't want to lose that part of you by having you kill her yourself, so we'll deal with her in a way we see fit if all else fails."

Davis's emotions swelled, "You mean… hexing her?"

"Yes…" Evelynn nodded, "If she can charm you, it is only right you charm her back. I'm sure she will love it instead of hating it. In fact, I can tell that she would consider her life fulfilled if she could die by your hands, but you might not do it, so the only way remaining is to corrupt her Will. She will belong to you as she dreamed of, my love."

Evelynn warmly uttered, yet Davis sensed that her words were also filled with obsession towards him.

Her face became superimposed with Fairy Thunderblaze, the two of them seeking to consider him first while having their own ways of running the family or the empire.

Davis gave Evelynn a firm nod before he took a step back and looked at Isabella.

"Don't be down. Everything she did, she was prepared to die. She was serious- fully hitting me with her obsession. You can do so too, punch her, break her face, and then finally ask her why she did what she did. You have my full support, Isabella."

Isabella looked serious, but then smiled wryly, "Break her face? She deserves it, but if you want her with us, then it is better not to harm her face. As big sister said, we will deal with her using our own ways."

Davis nodded, "I will continue my deceit, but none of you will have to act in front of her. If it's exposed, I'll change my methods and become heavy-handed. I can only do my best, so it is all up to her on how to react. If she doesn't want to live with us in harmony, then the only end result is as Evelynn said. We will hex her."

Evelynn and Isabella nodded firmly, and Mira followed suit with a few heavy nods. The latter had no idea what was happening since the complications in this matter were too much for her to comprehend.

"I sense Myria nearby…" Davis suddenly blinked, "She didn't go earlier to bring back others?"

Evelynn shook her head, "No, she's merely patrolling the region and still looking to find some treasures or accompanying the children in their new adventure nearby. But I think she was restless since you didn't return. Nevertheless, I sent her word that you have returned earlier, so she is coming back…"

"Perfect." Davis said as he turned to look at Isabella, "Take Myria with you. With her presence, even the Venerable Knights wouldn't take action."

"Understood." Isabella held the Temporal Voidplane Ring firmly, knowing it was a treasure of the utmost importance. It cannot be lost. Without it, they would have no way to bring the Empyreans of their family within and would have to resort to looking for an ascension vortex that led to the Upper Realms, but doing that left them stranded and divided, which wasn't good.

Soon, Myria appeared. She came swooping down and hugged Davis, her pupils wet with tears.

"You used my soul essence… I was so worried…"

"It was thanks to you that I was able to get out of a life and death situation." Davis combed her white hair with affection.

He then informed her of his plight after giving a brief account of his adventure. He couldn't accompany them to the Lower Realm due to the restriction, and it was better that he stay put or cause a major change again.

"Alright, I will handle this. Shirley and the others have already gone and would do a better job at bringing them back, but leave it to me. I will bring them here safely."

Myria had a lot of questions to ask, as Evelynn and Isabella did, but she didn't bother to waste time after exchanging a few loving words of farewell. She knew time was of the essence since the Supremes could suddenly find them, so she decided to take action first and ask Isabella during their journey.

She took Isabella, Mira, and Freya, who wanted to see Lea and Esvele, and flew away, leaving Davis and Evelynn behind.

Soon, Azariel and the others landed, rushing towards him.
