Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4503: Sending Off

Chapter 4503: Sending Off

Davis was unable to stop Azariel and Viridia since they had made their move when he was on vacation in the countryside village with his wives and little children. These youngsters had grown up and won’t listen anymore. Even his lovely Viridia rebelled in subtle ways after she had turned seventeen years old. Now, she was already twenty-one years old.

Azariel was much older since he used the time chambers more than necessary to widely improve his skills. Davis also couldn’t say anything about the heavy usage of time chambers since he was worried Azariel was disheartened about the prior incident with his ex-love interest, and chose to immerse himself in studying and training.

He felt it was a good thing that Azariel was focused on cultivation, but he didn’t expect him or Viridian to leave. But he could understand.

If it weren’t for the secret realm, they might’ve already stepped into the Empyrean Stage. They couldn’t delay any longer, so they made their decision and set out secretly.

Nonetheless, he wasn’t worried about them since he had seen them gain enough experience in the past five years. In fact, he was only worried about the supreme geniuses since the two of them together could even defeat a Pre-Candidacy Evelynn in a battle.

Among supreme geniuses, they were already peerless. He had made sure of that since he had given them diluted Gilded Realm Ascendants Pills of Minor Realm to consume, but perhaps that was his undoing since it made them too hot-headed enough to leave and adventure by themselves.

Still, since Azariel and Viridia went to the secret realm, the other siblings weren’t silent about it anymore, also wanting to go, so he had no choice but to take Eterna, Celestia, and Lucian. More than the adventure, they also wanted to see their mothers, who had not returned except to send letters, so Davis had no choice but to give up and take them with him.

Otherwise, he feared they might riot or sneak out anyway.

Mingzhi, Fiora, and many others watched them leave, most of their eyes moist since they knew it would be a long time before they could see them again.

Fiora and Lea had already entered the Empyrean Stage. Fiora felt like she needed to aid Davis in comprehending annihilative heavenly wind, and Lea felt the need to protect the family. Otherwise, they would’ve also accompanied them on this expedition.

After Davis and the others left, they were suddenly overcome by a sense of loss and sadness. They remained silent for a long time until Mingzhi walked to the front, stood in front of everyone, and opened her mouth.

"Alright, everyone. It has been a good run. Time to disband and take the treasures away with us."

Fiora and the others rolled their eyes but smiled.

Mingzhi giggled, "Tia is leaving with them, so our family is dependent on you, Hailac."

Mystic Diviner Hailac was clad in a black-purple robe. Her silver hair gleamed with a resplendent light, but her pupil-less eyes looked much more mystical and heavenly.

"I will do everything in my power to cast a protective veil. I won’t disappoint this family that had nurtured me."

She bowed, replying respectfully.

Mingzhi nodded. She believed Tia trained her well. For one, Tia rarely ever came out in these ten years, remaining secluded unless she was needed for divination. She didn’t seek Davis either, so Mingzhi felt this was a good opportunity for her.

"Does Tia really have to leave?" Fiora frowned, "I am worried about the little ones. Everlight’s kids are still toddlers. I’m afraid if this place is exposed, then..."

"She has to." Mingzhi responded, "Only she can divine a better way for us. Besides, their expedition isn’t simply one of aimless adventure or resource gathering. Our sisters who have gone there have already collected too many resources that the supreme geniuses there are crying foul. Husband and the others are heading to the secret realm in order to find multiple exits and establish multiple safe zones, since it is said that there are numerous dimensional pathways to other galaxies there."

Fiora and the others couldn’t help but giggle at Mingzhi’s words.

They felt like they would also cry foul if they had to face Isabella and Shirley in a battle.

Regardless, they understood the importance of the second expedition. It was no longer going to just be a defensive battle. Once they head out and try to establish safe zones in other galaxies and possibly other celestial bodies, then they would need to actually declare war and conquer regions, sometimes just to get to another place.

"I understand." Fiora nodded, "It’s a good opportunity for Tia to be with darling too."

"Exactly." Mingzhi agreed, "Fortunately, I embraced him this decade more times than any of us, so I’m satisfied."

"I could also say the same." Fiora grinned.

"No, I embraced him more."

"No, I did~"

The two of them pounced at each other, locking hands as they instantly fought, leaving the others speechless.

"Mingzhi, what about the rat you talked about?"

"Uh, yeah," Mingzhi let Fiora go as she turned to look at Lea, "It was just a rat from the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm. As you already know, they tried to trace us back, but I let them go round and round until they messed up and I destroyed their entire intelligence network. Didn’t I tell you?"

"Oh, you didn’t. It must’ve been insignificant." Lea smiled.

"It sure was. I almost got bored and left everything to Nightveil, but I made sure to be thorough."

Mingzhi giggled, "Even if remnants remain, they’re not a threat. With my Heart Intent, I confirmed none of my subordinates in the Obsidian Firmament were spies or double agents, so we’re still good."

"Thankfully, we have you, so we can relax most of the time." Lea cast a grateful gaze at Mingzhi.

With Mingzhi taking care of their new and renewed intelligence network in the Lower Realms named the Obsidian Firmament, which comprised a few individuals who specialized in information collection by employing thousands who employed millions, their network stretched across the forty-eight Lower Realms easily, allowing them to know many matters soon after they happened.

Even celestial bodies that they never knew existed came into their purview. They had even gained particular resources they didn’t have but needed this way.

"No need to thank. Just take care of my lovely Tianyu and Yulai if they visit to play."

Mingzhi gave a smirk and swaggered to the side for over two kilometers, stopping in front of Tanya and a certain Heaven’s Warrior.
