After a long time, the old man broke the silence and asked.

"Did anything happen while I was asleep?"

"During your sleep, Lord, three events occurred. First, we were attacked by the VI-type Heroic Level Star-Devouring Beast · Glanger, but fortunately, Lord Coret and others intervened and resolved it. Another incident was the monster riot in the isolation room, which invaded the laboratory. Thankfully, Lord Su Mo intervened at the last moment to resolve it. Lastly, we entered the Zero Star Domain, but since we didn’t know the way, the navigation speed was quite slow."

Butler Anason respectfully reported everything objectively.

Listening to Anason’s report, Coret’s heart tightened again.

"Prepare a wheelchair and push me to the command room."

The old man rasped.

"Yes!"

Butler Anason quickly responded.

Coret also breathed a slight sigh of relief. Good thing the old man didn’t dwell on the first two matters. Especially the monster riot issue, if the old man investigates further, he’ll discover that I’m about to eject the laboratory.

Though it might not necessarily hold me accountable, it might attract unwanted attention.

Actually, Coret himself didn’t realize a problem: Even though the old man was paralyzed, he kept telling himself there was nothing to fear, but subconsciously, he was quite apprehensive and fearful.

Before long, Su Mo and the others escorted the old man to the command room.

Looking at the star map displayed before him, the old man croaked.

"Head to the coordinates (14526,7221,54123) first."

"Understood, recalibrating the route."

"Preheating the superluminal flight device."

...

The operators present promptly responded respectfully.

At this moment, the Ancient Legendary Star Destroyer · Catastrophe Shadow embarked on its journey again.

After planning the short-term route, the old man’s face flushed and he began coughing incessantly.

Cough cough~

"Master, are you alright?"

Su Mo hastily asked with concern.

"I won’t die."

The old man replied tiredly.

"Perhaps you should go back and rest. You’ve just woken up, and your body might not take it."

Su Mo sighed and advised.

After a few seconds of silence, the old man spoke: "Alright, I’ll go rest. You, as the deputy captain, are entrusted with the management and command here."

Su Mo was taken aback by the old man’s words.

He never thought the old man would transfer the command to him.

In an instant, Coret, Attic, Adomo, and others all fixed their gaze on Su Mo. Although none of them expressed dissatisfaction verbally,

their eyes were filled with resentment, anger, and unwillingness.

Suddenly, Su Mo found himself at the center of attention and hostility.

Su Mo was immensely troubled, but he didn’t refuse this time. He was already at odds with this group, so he didn’t need to consider their feelings. Hence, he replied.

"Yes, Master."

"Anason, push me back to rest."

"Yes!"

Butler Anason replied respectfully and then pushed Su Mo out of the command room.

Once the old man was far gone, Attic sneered: "So damn funny, giving command to an outsider."

"If you’re dissatisfied, you can take it up with the old man!"

Su Mo retorted without indulging Attic.

"You, pretty gutsy, we’ll see about this!"

Attic’s expression twisted, angrily leaving.

Though Coret and others didn’t verbally mock Su Mo, they also left with unfriendly expressions.

Su Mo watched this scene and couldn’t help but feel troubled.

Xiao Shi spoke in a low tone: "Don’t blame me for not warning you; they’ve been with the old man for years, and not one of them is easy to deal with. Be overly cautious when dealing with them, or else you’ll be clueless about your demise."

"Alright, I got it."

Su Mo twisted his neck in response, then turned to the star map of navigation.

The entire Zero Star Domain’s star map was very blurry, with scarcely any noticeable markings.

However, Su Mo was particularly interested and stepped closer for a careful look; he’s temporarily the captain now, after all.

The navigation matters were now his responsibility.

Looking at this rudimentary star map, Su Mo couldn’t help but stroke his chin in thought.

"Stop pretending; it’s not like you can understand it."

"Cough cough~ If I can’t understand it, then I need to look at it more. Xiao Shi, how much do you know about the Zero Star Domain?"

"Not much, but I know you were pulled from there, and many civilizations originated from the Zero Star Domain, like the Divine Race...."

The creator · Swallower responded in a low voice.

Hearing this, Su Mo was increasingly shocked and couldn’t help but develop a strong interest in the Zero Star Domain.

"That’s amazing?"

"It’s alright."

"I have another question...."

"Enough, I’m not in the mood for idle chat, I need some rest. Don’t call me unless it’s important."

The creator · Swallower replied, sounding somewhat weary.

"Uh, are you okay?"

"Do you think it’s possible? All because some idiot kept opening negative energy; it made me go berserk."

"Cough cough, how was I supposed to know your tolerance was so low? Look, I’m fine."

Su Mo replied somewhat sheepishly.

"Wait a minute~ why are you still here?"

The creator · Swallower suddenly realized, vividly recalling that before losing control, Su Mo had completely fallen.

"That’s going too far, are you really hoping I’d be gone? Am I that easy to get rid of? Besides, the medical technology of Star Ring City is top-notch."

"Hmph!"

The creator · Swallower snorted coldly, refusing to engage further with Su Mo.

Su Mo also chuckled, enjoying the banter with Xiao Shi, a feeling he hadn’t had for a while.

...

Two days later.

Anason pushed the old man into the laboratory.

Rohar and Yue Ji respectfully followed behind him.
