Destiny Mission of game ‘Star Ring’
Chapter 2051 - 1601: Accident (Part 1)
Su Mo slowly got up and walked into the bathroom, turning on the faucet.
Swish~
Su Mo cupped some water in his hands and rubbed his face to wake himself up a little. After washing, he lifted his head and looked at the mirror in front of him.
He stared at his own reflection, a familiar yet strange face. The patterns of Negative Energy Pollution were visibly squirming, appearing exceptionally eerie and sinister.
Su Mo’s heart sank to the bottom.
He took a few deep breaths to calm his chaotic heart, then left the bathroom and lay back down on the bed.
.....
Meanwhile, in the Catastrophe Shadow’s command room.
"Cough, cough~"
The old man sat quietly in the command chair, coughing into one hand while looking at the star map displayed in front of him.
His coughing rate was very high and loud, as if he were about to cough out his lungs.
Coret stood behind him, dressed in bio armor, hands behind his back, and a slight flicker in his eyes.
Anason approached cautiously on the old man’s right side and asked respectfully.
"Sir, would you like to rest for a while?"
"No, no need..."
Before the old man could finish his sentence, he suddenly clutched his chest, and his withered face twisted in pain, his eyes bloodshot. He collapsed to the ground, spitting out a mouthful of black blood.
"Sir, what’s happening to you..."
Anason’s face changed sharply, he rushed forward to support the old man.
Coret and others were also startled and immediately gathered around.
"Sir!"
The old man slowly lifted his right hand, his shriveled face turning bright red, lips moving to produce a muddled sound.
Before anyone could hear clearly, the old man suddenly tilted his head and fell into unconsciousness.
"Sir!"
"Doctor! Call the doctor!"
...
The command room instantly turned into chaos.
To put it precisely, at this moment, the entire Catastrophe Shadow ship was in complete disorder.
....
Region B1.
Su Mo lay on the bed, tossing and turning to finally regain a bit of sleepiness, just about to drift into dreamland.
Knock knock!
The door resounded with urgent knocking.
At the same time, Su Mo could hear Sun Duoxiang’s urgent voice calling.
"Boss!"
...
Su Mo opened his eyes, got up from the bed, and walked to the door with a frown to open it.
"Boss, something happened."
"Speak properly, what could happen?"
"The sky’s falling, your master fainted and is about to be done for."
"What did you say? Are you serious? When did this happen?"
Su Mo’s expression changed abruptly.
"Just a while ago, would I lie to you?"
Sun Duoxiang quickly said.
"Go wake everyone up and come with me!"
Su Mo immediately said to Sun Duoxiang.
"Alright."
Sun Duoxiang turned around and went to knock on other doors.
...
-------------------------------------
Catastrophe Shadow·Room 01 in Area A1.
Coret personally led over a hundred loyal subordinates to surround the entrance to the room.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he spoke to all his loyalists.
"Sir is unwell, and these are troubled times. As his subordinates, it’s only natural to protect Sir in all respects. From now on, without my permission, no one is allowed to enter this room, understand?"
"Understood!"
All the loyalists responded.
Coret’s icy eyes concealed a hint of excitement. He hadn’t expected the old man to collapse at such a critical moment. Surely, the heavens were favoring him.
As long as he controlled this place, and found a way to inherit the old man’s legacy, he could achieve great things.
Just then, Kathuler rushed over with a group of people. As he approached the door, Coret reached out to block him.
"Coret, what are you trying to do?"
Kathuler glared angrily at Coret.
"What am I trying to do? Isn’t it me who should be asking you?"
Coret retorted unceremoniously.
"Of course, I’m here to see Sir, now move aside!"
Kathuler shouted furiously.
Yet, Coret was unmoved, coldly gazing at Kathuler and replying, "You think anyone knows if you’re here to harm Sir?"
Kathuler sneered in anger, stared at Coret, and said viciously.
"I think you have ulterior motives. Move aside, or don’t blame me for being rude."
"I’d like to see how rude you can be."
Coret replied with a cold smile.
The next moment, Coret’s loyal subordinates, eyes fierce, surrounded Kathuler and his group.
Kathuler’s subordinates, feeling the tension, placed their hands on their swords and beam guns at their waists.
Though Kathuler and his group did not fear Coret, they were heavily outnumbered.
This is Area A1; those who could enter here were usually high-ranked, and the number of people they could bring in indirectly indicated their strength.
Then Attic arrived with a group of subordinates and shouted unceremoniously.
"All of you, step aside!"
"Who the hell are you to demand stepping aside."
Kathuler, already angry, turned to yell at Attic.
"I want to see Sir, is there a problem."
Attic replied bluntly.
"No one is getting in."
Coret coldly replied at this moment.
"Coret, don’t go too far. Sir has just collapsed, and you want to monopolize power, are you rebelling?"
Attic glared fiercely at Coret, his face tattooed with an evil demon appearing extremely hideous and ferocious.
"Exactly, do you think you have it all under control."
At this moment, a man in a gray V-generation bio armor, with ugly facial features, missing a left ear, and sinister eyes accompanied by subordinates, also arrived.
"Amado, you want a piece too?"
Kathuler sneered in anger, someone who usually acted like a grandson now dared to emerge.
"Why shouldn’t I have a piece, I’m also a loyal subordinate of Sir, and I’m eligible to be concerned about Sir’s situation."
Amado retorted with a malicious grin.
"You’re full of shit, you’re just a small fry, I’m a genuine member of the royal family of the Black Light Empire!"
Kathuler spat venomously at Amado’s face.
"Shut your damn mouth, my father, grandfather, and ancestors were pillars of the Black Light Empire, and I’ve lived and died alongside Sir for thousands of years! If I’m not qualified, who is?"
Amado retorted unceremoniously.
"Talking as though anyone hasn’t lived and died alongside Sir."
Attic sneered disdainfully.
"Don’t you dare! It’s none of your concern, you’re not even human; I’m stating it here, if I can’t get in today, none of you should even think about getting in."
Amado retaliated by spraying spittle at Attic’s face, filled with contempt.
For a moment, the entire door was tense, like a powder keg ready to explode.
At this moment, hurried footsteps came from afar as Su Mo, along with Kendi and Sun Duo, rushed over, his heart still in chaos.
No one expected the old man to collapse at such a critical juncture.
