Demi-human Girls Completion Manual

Chapter 1776 - 155: Divine Language

After Fisher used the Fluid Sword to seal the gap above the shipyard, although terrifying sounds of trembling could still be heard from outside, the chilling fear had already drifted away. It was as if just a moment ago it was chasing Fisher, and the next moment, upon losing sight of him, it had forgotten all about it, turning silent.

Fisher, panting heavily, clutched his growing severed arm, while at the entrance of the shipyard, David, resembling an angel, quickly floated over, asking with concern,

"Mr. Fisher, are you alright? Just now, the entire sanctuary experienced a tremor for unknown reasons, the system seemed to be affected by some unknown influence, and I tried contacting you but received no response..."

Fisher, feeling pain, held his right arm. Every part of his body contained a part of his soul, and Fisher, already at the mythical rank, felt dizzy from the soul pain of the severed arm, but he still looked at the nearby tilted and overturned ship, instructing David,

"I... I’m fine. Alagina is on the nearby ship, go check her condition... cough cough..."

"Alright, I’ll go right away."

David nodded, floating up and heading towards the ship, quickly a response came from there,

"Mr. Fisher, Miss Alagina is not seriously hurt, she seems to have just passed out, detected serious burns on her back, did a fire break out here just now?"

The burns on Alagina’s back were indeed real.

Fisher was suddenly stunned, recalling the "private" character he had devoured earlier.

Previously, he thought those bizarre scenes formed by the scarlet miasma were merely illusions, but now it seemed otherwise, those things were formed in reality.

After the sudden attack just now, despite being reluctant to admit it, the connection between the spirit realm pollution and Asuka Tokizawa was now undeniable, the language of the transferee and various otherworldly scenarios were showing Fisher the inner imagery of the person he knew millennia ago.

And judging by the reaction of the spirit realm pollution quieting down once he sealed the sanctuary, it matched with the characteristics of a lost soul described by Mr. Helson in the notes.

It had no intelligence, only an excess of chaotic power.

In other words, Asuka Tokizawa’s soul was now lost, and this spirit realm pollution was the chaotic power she left behind?

Thinking it over, Fisher felt waves in his heart, he’d probably already figured out that Asuka Tokizawa’s attempt to return to her world had failed.

Renie mentioned that the boundary had been locked down, turning into a cage that only allows entry but prevents exit, only an entity endowed with Azan Ross’s power can leave here, and the only known person aware of Azan Ross is the demi-human girl control.

But if the demi-human girl control was familiar with Asuka, then the entire Creation Society wouldn’t be so ignorant about her, so likely Asuka’s journey to the spirit realm lacked Azan Ross’s blessing, she might have listened to Margaret’s method of leaving this world, which required the power of a True God. Back then, Margaret attempted to awaken the Death Authority precisely to borrow its power to return to her world, but now it seems like a mere delusion.

Regrettably, the pursuit of the correct truth is like this, besides the favor of luck, there is no foreknowledge, one must undergo countless trials and errors and pay costs including life just to get a little closer to the answer.

Standing a millennium later, Fisher easily knew the corresponding answer and held the key to unlock it but was already unable to pass it to these transferees caught between fate’s tricks.

His expression was somewhat somber, deeply worried about poor Asuka Tokizawa’s current whereabouts, but quickly composed himself, refocusing on the matter at hand,

"The shipyard had some defects just now, and the spirit realm pollution invaded and attacked us, we almost got into trouble."

"What?" David poked his head up from the deck, incredulous, "But David and Alagina have checked every corner of the sanctuary, many gaps were personally patched by us, it shouldn’t be like this."

"...Do you still worship the Mother Goddess?"

"Why would David worship the Mother Goddess?"

"Then it’s alright."

Fisher breathed a sigh of relief, standing upright, his severed arm now fully grown, he shook his newly grown fair arm, looking at the Fluid Sword that had turned into a wall on the ceiling, explaining,

"That spirit realm pollution seems able to rely on inner imagery to alter reality, and the alteration is real. That gap might have always existed, just making you unaware of its existence. I’m not sure whether there are other undiscovered gaps in the sanctuary, we’d better check again."

"Sounds very subjective, idealistic, David just knew it was dangerous outside but didn’t know it would be like this... so what should we do next?"

Fisher leaped up onto the overturned ship, looking at the unconscious Alagina on the deck, carrying her on his back, then glanced at the somewhat wistful David,

"Do what we were supposed to do earlier, I’ll try to contact Dalasgon, I may need your help."

...

...

At the center of the sanctuary, where Alagina placed her design machinery and David monitored the entire sanctuary, Fisher settled the unconscious Alagina here, and to prevent David from being affected by the scarlet pollution and missing any gaps, he personally walked around the sanctuary, finding no other gaps, yet discovered what seemed to be the Mother Goddess statue Alagina had brought for worship.
