Chapter 151: New Incredible Alien Skills And Talents Multiplied By x10,000!

After Riven decided to finally feast on the gigantic monster, his Aura transformed into a swarm of gigantic jaws formed from red and black energy. When this effect combined with his Jaws of Gluttony, the devouring power of his Aura intensified to a tremendous degree. The forty-meter-tall titan that had once been Genesis-05 began to disappear at a rapid pace as the swarm of jaws and a dense black-red fog completely consumed it.

The corpse tried to fight back in its final moments, yet every lingering cell was eaten all the same. It was unable to resist once its main brain had already been completely destroyed.

Slowly Riven felt his stats begin to skyrocket. At the same time he rapidly obtained a series of new powers, ranging from skills to talents. System notifications continued to appear one after another before his eyes.

Riven stared at the single powerful skill he had just gained. A sharp, agonizing pain suddenly spread through every part of his body. His entire form squirmed uncontrollably for several seconds, as if something was trying to seize complete control. Then the sensation calmed down. Thick steam rose from his reddened skin, which slowly returned to its normal pale tone.

"Evolving... Cellular Hivemind?" he gasped quietly. "Is this the same power Genesis possessed?" He wondered for a moment. "No... hers was even more terrifying. But this... well, it’ll still be useful."

Riven decided to test the new ability immediately. He cut both of his wrists with his sharp claws. Blood sprayed outward in thick streams. Yet to his complete disbelief, the wounds closed and sealed themselves only a second later.

"?!"

His previous regeneration had been decent at best. Wounds would slowly heal over the course of several minutes, sometimes even hours. But this new power was on an entirely different level. There was not a single scar left behind. He even watched his own blood move independently for a brief moment, flowing back into his body like a living red slime.

"This is freakish as hell... but it works."

He briefly considered testing the skill further by cutting off his own hand, yet he quickly resisted the temptation. Doing so would be unnecessary right now. He would be fighting Ryujin soon enough, so it was better to wait until he faced an opponent of that level. Still, the skill remained only at Level 1, meaning the regeneration had clear limits. He was certain that if his head were completely destroyed, nothing would be able to bring him back.

In addition, the Absolute Assimilation synergy looked extremely promising. It appeared to be an evolved form of Gene Absorption that would greatly increase his chances of successfully absorbing new genes in the future.

Riven suddenly felt a sharp, stabbing headache erupt inside his skull. Label, the only one close enough to witness the changes, watched as his mind wavelengths — which had already been strong even before he consumed the giant monster — began expanding around him like a living veil. That veil slowly started taking the vague shape of a humanoid silhouette, though it remained very blurry and barely formed.

His psychic powers were beginning to develop at a rapid pace thanks to the incredible SSS+ Rank Psionic Avatar Talent he had just acquired. But with that also came a strange, dangerous connection to a world Riven, so far, had never been aware of its existence.
