Creak.

The two factions had taken completely different approaches.

Shen Yu only stood at the door for a moment before the glass door opened by itself.

Lin Wan had loosened her long braid, allowing her dark waves to fall naturally over her shoulders.

She waved toward Shen Yu.

Then she sat down on the sofa.

Her legs were crossed.

The purple stockings rubbed softly against one another as she patted the seat beside her.

"Come."

"Sit down."

"This is work discussion time."

"Ah..."

Shen Yu hesitated before sitting beside her.

Lin Wan smiled, completely unbothered.

She raised her legs and placed them across Shen Yu’s thighs.

"Shen Yu."

"Are you taking this order yourself?"

"Or are you helping a colleague take it?"

"It’s me."

"Oh?"

Lin Wan’s eyes curved with amusement.

"Then tell me."

"How are you going to close this deal?"

Her posture shifted as she leaned closer.

Shen Yu remained calm.

"Well, I know that Mr. Fu is an old client of the company."

"So I came to ask you about it."

"You’re an old employee."

"You should know how to handle this client, right?"

Lin Wan laughed.

"It’s to help his daughter with a matchmaking problem, right?"

"From what I see, giving this task to you is practically a free win."

"What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean."

Lin Wan’s hands slowly moved towards Shen Yu’s, Shen Yu instinctively lifted her hips, but his face suddenly froze. The feeling was wrong. Under the clothes, seems like there’s nothing underneath. Wait, wait, wait, wait! The system said this person’s preference is not liking constraints.

Could it be...?

Before he could think further, his hand was suddenly slapped away.

Smack!

Lin Wan glared at him.

Her eyes were filled with anger.

"I said..."

"Without results, there’s no reward."

"Behave."

"Only I get to touch you."

"You don’t touch me."

The atmosphere became strangely awkward.

Shen Yu fell silent.

After a moment, Lin Wan patted his shoulder.

"Let’s go."

"Remember my words."

"This task is practically yours for free."

"Play to your strengths."

"Close the deal."

"Sister will reward you well."

She leaned over and gave Shen Yu a quick kiss on the cheek.

Then she turned and walked away.

"Sister Lin Wan."

"Any more tips?"

Shen Yu wasn’t giving up.

He stood up and asked for more advice.

"Get out."

"Got it."

The cold voice came.

Shen Yu didn’t say anything more.

He slowly walked out of the office.

Creak.

When the frosted glass door closed behind him, Shen Yu bit his lip in disappointment.

This was his first real interaction with a dungeon character.

And he hadn’t gained a single favor point.

Lin Wan seemed easygoing.

But in reality, she was like a fox.

Without results—

She wouldn’t give him even a single point of affection.

As for Lin Yao...

Shen Yu raised his eyes.

His face instantly showed a trace of envy.

On the opposite side, the frosted glass door opened as well.

Lin Yao was holding several suits and constantly adjusting them against Mo Xian.

"The black one looks too stiff."

"Mr. Fu’s daughter won’t like it."

"How about pink?"

"Wear pink to the meeting."

"It’ll help you start with some goodwill."

Shen Yu stared.

Look at that.

Now that’s a reliable leader.

Shen Yu muttered to himself.

Remembering Lin Wan’s words, he found a seat and sat down, crossing his legs helplessly.

"Shen Yu."

"Shen Yu."

"What did Captain Lin Wan say?"

Yanning and Ning Su immediately gathered around him.

Shen Yu shrugged.

"She didn’t say anything."

"She just hopes I can close this deal."

"What about your unbeatable charm?"

"Didn’t it work on her?"

Yanning looked stunned.

She had thought that with Shen Yu’s charm, he should have been able to accomplish something just now.

"No."

"Captain Lin Wan isn’t the type to fall for love."

"She’s practical."

"To win her favor, I have to show results."

"I need to think about how to land this deal."

Shen Yu rubbed his chin.

He fell into deep thought.

On the other side, the atmosphere in the Wolf Team’s office was completely different.

"All right."

"Tie your tie."

"Polish your shoes."

"After meeting old Mr. Fu, at least arrive half an hour early."

"Perform well, and this deal will be no problem."

"Don’t mess it up."

"Got it."

Lin Yao’s towering figure stood before Mo Xian.

He looked at her with growing confidence.

A strange sensation rose in his chest.

"Let’s go."

"Understood."

Mo Xian nodded.

He walked straight out of the office.

But he didn’t leave immediately.

Instead, he turned back toward Liang Lingxue.

"Captain?"

Liang Lingxue glanced at him.

Then she shook her head again.

"Still a little bad."

"Fine."

"I get it."

Shen Yu sat nearby.

Mo Xian’s provocative gaze immediately shot toward him.

"Shen Yu."

"Why are you just sitting there?"

"Come on."

Shen Yu remained unmoved.

"You go first."

"Someone like me, living off others, doesn’t have your sharp suit."

"This is probably a lost cause."

Mo Xian sneered.

"You must be pretty happy, huh?"

"Yeah."

Shen Yu smiled.

"The thought of you possibly getting punished makes me ridiculously happy."

Mo Xian shot Shen Yu a glare.

Then he walked toward the elevator.

He disappeared from sight.

Shen Yu continued sitting there.

Three minutes passed.

Ten minutes passed.

He still didn’t move.

"Vice-Captain..."

Chu Chang’an couldn’t stand it anymore.

"You’re not seriously giving up, are you?"

"If you just give up on a deal like this, wouldn’t that be pure comedy?"

He started heading toward the elevator.

But Shen Yu suddenly grabbed his shoulder.

"Stop."

"Did I ever say I’m not going?"

"But if you’re late, the client might get angry, right?"

"You don’t understand."

"I have my own pace."

"All I can say is, if I had gone with Mo Xian, I’d probably have been done for by now."

"It would already be over."

"By spacing out our departure times, you won’t waste time waiting for me to see the client."

"That’s just part of it."

"As for the rest..."

Snap!

The chair suddenly bounced backward.

Shen Yu finally stood up.

He headed toward the elevator.

"Pretentious fool."

"He’ll be finished sooner or later."

Inside the Wolf Team office, the long-haired man with hair covering his eyes muttered quietly.

Then he turned toward Liang Lingxue.

"Liang Lingxue."

"How’s his luck?"

Liang Lingxue looked toward Shen Yu.

"Ah..."

"Little luck."

"Luck."

"Big luck."

"What?"

The long-haired man frowned.

"How is that possible?"

Liang Lingxue stared at the words floating above Shen Yu’s head.

Her mouth slowly dropped open.

Big Luck.

It meant that Shen Yu’s trip would go smoothly.

How could that be?

The guy didn’t even have a proper suit.

He was late for the meeting.

How could he possibly have—

Big Luck?

Ding-dong!

The elevator doors opened.

Shen Yu walked inside.

He carefully examined the elevator buttons.

Earlier, too many people had been coming up from the first floor, so he hadn’t paid much attention to the building’s layout.

The task description had clearly stated that, to leave this scenario, all areas had to be unlocked.

First floor.

Second floor.

Third floor.

Fourth floor.

His eyes followed the elevator buttons upward.

This building only had nine floors.

There was no basement.

Based on his current progress, he had already unlocked the first, second, third, and fifth floors.

His progress was actually quite fast.

Of course...

Shen Yu couldn’t help feeling a little impulsive.

He reached out and pressed the button for the fourth floor.

Nothing happened.

He pressed it again.

Still nothing.

He tried once more.

The button refused to light up.

Shen Yu’s eyes narrowed.

Odd.

Why couldn’t the fourth floor be selected?
