Chapter 238: Gendebent Heroes Prank

[3rd POV]

"What the fuck was that, and why the hell am I a dude?" Artemis now...Arty? Said, as he looked around. Glancing down at his clothes, he wondered why he was not in insanely tight clothes, since he was way bigger than a minute ago.

"There is a note" Kaldur now...Kaldi? Said, as she reached down and picked it up before reading it out loud.

"Have fun boys and girls!~ I hope you enjoy those new bodies of yours! But don’t worry, the change will dissipate in oh...just a couple of days! Signed, The best Pranksters in the Omniverse, Milim Maximoff, Naruto Maximoff, and Amity Maximoff" The note said, as she read it out loud to the others in the room.

"...Well shit. We can’t even do anything about this even if we don’t want to" Dick muttered, realizing that there was absolutely zero chance in hell they would be getting back at the three for this.

They were the children of Wanda Maximoff, an entity that not even the Justice League was willing to get into an altercation with. Someone that the likes of Nabu himself would not even attempt to fight, even in his true form.

An entity that surpassed the likes of Lucifer himself. Not someone who they could really afford to piss off.

"Seriously? So we’re just going to let those...those twerps do this and we can’t do anything back?" Artemis asked, grumbling as he crossed his new arms. A scowl on his face as he looked at the others.

"What can we do to them, Artemis? Attack them? Ask the League to do something? There is no chance they would do that, even with this...prank having been brought down upon us. And quite frankly, this is simply a prank, and while it will be...annoying to deal with, it is not malicious or inherently harmful" Kaldur said, countering Artemis before he can continue to complain.

The idea of even attempting anything against them was idiotic at best. And suicidal at worst.

"...I hate that you are making sense right now" Artemis muttered, as he leaned back with a sigh. He understood that Kaldur was right, and that they really just couldn’t do much against the trio. Not if they wanted to...you know, not get cursed.

None of them wanted to end up like Captain Atom. That man was still miserable after being cursed, and was basically kicked out of the Justice League. He was a shell of his former self.

"Yeah well, Kaldur tends to do that a lot" Dick added, a grin on her new face. At the same time, Wally was looking over her form, before eventually she whistled in appreciation.

"Man, female me is hot!" Wally said with a proud look on her face. The one person that was being surprisingly silent was M’gann, who was looking at his new form in shock. He had never expected to be warped like this, as his species was incapable of doing so, with him being a white Martian.

His "Uncle" could, but he was a green Martian, and therefore had far superior Shapeshifting capabilities compared to his own.

White Martians were physically more powerful, and tended to also be stronger when it came to telepathic abilities. But they were also...well, they tended to not be the nicest bunch in the world, and many of them were sadistic monsters that had committed some serious atrocities against the green martians.

They also tended to be giant racists too.

"You good over there M’gann?" Artemis asked, as he looked at his friend, noticing the way that M’gann was looking over his new form.

"Hmm? Oh yeah I’m okay. It’s just...I’ve never taken a male form before, cause I never had the ability to. But I have to admit that this is a really strange feeling. But not a bad one, surprisingly enough" M’gann replied to his friend, as she stopped scanning over her new figure.

"Did it say exactly how long that this new...change would last?" Connor asked, getting a shake of the head from Kaldur. Connor could only grunt in irritation at this news, realizing that her new form was likely going to last quite a lot longer than she had originally thought.

"Great, so we’re genderbent versions of ourselves for "A couple of days" whatever the hell that means. Not only that, but we have to deal with the League, who will be a giant pain in the ass about this, even if it’s their fault that the security sucks enough for them to get in here so easily" Connor growled, annoyance clear in her eyes as she slammed her fist against the nearby wall, causing a large crack to appear in it.

The others just listened to her words, before Wally spoke up.

"Well at least no we know that you still have the anger issues despite being a girl now" Wally said with a grin on her face, as Dick snorted.

"If anything it’s going to be worse now" Dick added, as M’gann and Artemis both looked at Dick with narrowed eyes.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Artemis asked, giving the boy now girl a sharp glare.

"Yes Dick, what is that supposed to mean?" M’gann added, as Dick began to look away, coughing awkwardly into her smaller hand.

"Nothing! It means absolutely nothing!" Dick replied, not wanting to incur the wrath of the two of them. Artemis could hold a grudge and be super petty, and M’gann...M’gann was straight up just scary when she was angry.

For obvious reasons.

"The real question we should be asking ourselves is...how are we going to tell the League, and more importantly...how are we going to go out looking like this?" Kaldur asked, as he looked over the team.

At his words, he only got loud groans in response.

They all realized that this...this was going to be a pain in the ass.

And they had the Maximoff children to blame for it.

"That was awesome!" Milim cackled, as she watched their reactions to their new forms.

The prank itself was something that she had planned out with Naruto for a while, especially after seeing his "Harem no Jutsu" in which he tended to turn himself into a female form through shadow clones.

The actual making of the prank had not been that difficult, as there was literally dozens of different potions that she was able to use to make the prank work. There was also thousands of spells that could accomplish the same thing, and she didn’t need...well, pretty much any of them.

She just needed a simple potion and that was about it. Nothing more, nothing less.

"Yeah we gotta do that again! Maybe we could do it to the League too!" Naruto agreed, a wide grin on his face as he began to already contemplate all the things they could do in the coming months. Now that they knew that pranking the Young Justice was not that difficult.

They both already decided inwardly that the Justice League was next, that much was clear to both of them. But it was just not clear what they would even do for their prank, and more importantly, when they would pull it off.

They’d have to think on it, they both had decided.

For now though...

It was time to head home.
