[3rd POV]

’So that’s Hestia huh...she’s a lot more...gifted in person’ Wanda thought, noticing the massive breasts of the Goddess in human form. They were very noticeable, and eye catching.

She was not afraid to admit that she had glanced downwards when the Goddess had entered, because Hestia truly was incredibly gifted in the chest department. With one of the largest pairs she had ever seen in her life.

She was also tiny too, standing at like 4’8. Basically she was a short-stack of some sort.

"Whoa! This really is a lot bigger than it looked, just like Hephaestus said" Hestia said to herself, looking around the shop with sparkling eyes. She and Hephaestus were really good friends, as the redheaded woman hosted Hestia for a few months before she eventually kicked her out.

Thanks to this, her familia was pretty weak at the moment, and not very well known whatsoever. Having only Bell as a member. But the teen had yet to unlock his true power, at least, not yet.

"It’s also beautiful in here" Hestia also said, before slowly turning, and blinking when she saw Wanda standing there listening to her words, a small smile of interest on her face. Her cheeks began to flush in embarrassment, as she realized that the woman before her had been listening and watching all of that.

"OH! Sorry, I uh, I didn’t see you there!" Hestia exclaimed, as she walked forward towards the counter, giving the woman an apologetic bow.

"It’s quite alright. Am I right to assume that you are Hestia?" Wanda asked, feeling the soft warmth that exuded from the woman before her.

Out of all the Gods in Danmachi, Hestia was far and away her favorite one. Because she was truly a good person. Being the Goddess of the Hearth, she had an inherent connection to the concept of family itself, and thanks to that, she was the most lovable Goddess out there.

She was also one of the strongest out there.

Wanda doubted the Goddess even knew, but thanks to her being the Goddess of Family, she was not incredibly powerful. Mostly due to the massively rising power of the concept, due to the creations of familia’s, which is connected to the concept of family, and is a family itself.

Thanks to this, Hestia was also technically the Goddess of Familia, meaning she could (if she wanted to), undo familia bonds without much difficulty. That was only if she was using her divine power, of course. But still, it was an incredible amount of power that she unknowingly held within her.

The only reason Hestia did not know was that she had not truly connected to the new aspect of her domain until she had descended into the mortal realm. Had she not descended, she would never have bonded to that new aspect. But now that she did, if she was to ever go back to the heavens, then she would notice and feel the new ability she held within her.

"I am! It’s nice to meet you miss..." "Maximoff. But you may just call me Wanda, Hestia" Wanda replied to the woman, a small smile on her face.

"Nice to meet you Wanda! So uh...do you have any books that would be helpful for a new adventurer? A level one?" Hestia asked, as she glanced around the shop. She found that it was a lot larger than she had been expecting, and due to that, she was honestly a little overwhelmed with the amount of books inside.

"Hmm, I should have quite a few. But I have to ask, does this adventurer of yours use a specific type of weapon? Do they have any sort of magic?" Wanda asked, as Hestia hummed.

"Well he uses a sword usually, a shorter one. And he doesn’t have any sort of magic, yet. He only recently started out and is still getting used to things. He’s been an adventurer for like...not even a month" Hestia replied after some contemplation, getting an amused look from Wanda.

Hestia blushed in embarrassment, realizing that the primordial was giving her a look of amusement, finding her all over the place attitude to be a funny sight.

But she had not done anything rude just yet, so she was lucky she hadn’t pissed off Wanda over doing something monumentally stupid. Hephaestus had liked this place, so it was likely that the Goddes was the one that would cause the problem if she did cause anything within the next like...hour or so, maybe two.

Plus she needed to get some books for her beloved Bell, and she was not about to mess that up over the meeting. Plus she just flat out could not afford to piss off a primordial that her friend had put on the same level as Khaos herself.

Basically, she was doing her best to not piss off the woman before her.

"I’ve got quite a few books that would be right up his alley. But, I think that the starting books will be better. As many of them will help him learn new material arts, learn tactics and war, and other areas that would probably be hugely useful for a newbie adventurer" Wanda said after some moments of thought.

Off in the distance Hestia noticed some books that began to glow brilliantly.

"The books that are glowing white are the cheapest books, the higher "ranked" ones are gold. But you should learn from the initial books first, and then move onto the more complicated ones" Wanda said, as the woman nodded.

"Ah, and I’ve only shown the ones that a newbie could reasonably learn. There are even more advanced ones, but he should be at a higher level before even thinking of touching them. On top of this, I’ve only illuminated the ones that you can likely afford, so you won’t have to worry about accidentally grabbing a book that is too expensive" Wanda explained to the Goddess before her.

"That...is really helpful, thank you!" Hestia said seriously, before running off to the books to pick out the ones that should be of use to Bell. The boy hadn’t had his run in with the Minotaur just yet, and as such had not met Ais.

This also meant he had not yet unlocked his overpowered skill that let him develop faster than anyone else in Orario’s history. So he was still weak, and needed all the help he could get.

Hence why Wanda was helping Hestia a bit with finding the right books.

She was sure that any one of the books would massively improve Bell’s survival chances, as well as his chances at growing even stronger than what was possible in canon.

It was just up to him to properly use the books that Hestia would no doubt be buying him within the next few minutes. Whether or not he would be able to do that, Wanda had no idea. As the boy was...well, not exactly the brightest.

No offense to him or anything, as he was raised by...well, Zeus. And that man...was an idiot. He was also a perverted idiot that made Bell think that harems were normal and that he should strive to get one since he was going to be a hero or whatever.

Wanda wondered if the man was still alive. Because if he was, then she was pretty sure that Hestia would thrash him if she ever found out about his words and advice to the young Bell.

Wanda watched Hestia fumble with some of the books, very obviously not knowing which books to grab and which ones not to. She was tempted to help her out some more, but decided to stay back and let her figure things out.

She liked Hestia, but not enough to help her more than needed.

With that, Wanda leaned back in her chair, and watched as Hestia began to pick out books. All the while, she had only one thought on her mind.

’I wonder what the kids are up to?’
