After hastily hanging up the phone, he immediately got out of bed and put on an outfit for going out, then dressed Ling Yueyue in a relatively conservative pajama. Once everything was sorted, he raced downstairs with her in his arms.

When Huo Junmo carried Ling Yueyue downstairs, the housekeeper was already waiting below, and upon seeing them, he quickly said, "Sir, the driver is already waiting outside, ready!"

"Alright! Stay ready for my call at any time!" Huo Junmo dropped this line and left without looking back, carrying Ling Yueyue.

As Huo Junmo carried Ling Yueyue into the car, her condition didn’t improve; instead, the pain aggravated, and beads of sweat slid down like rain.

"To the hospital!" Huo Junmo tossed this simple command to the driver, then immediately looked at Ling Yueyue in his arms, consoling her with heartfelt concern, "Yueyue, don’t worry, we’ll be at the hospital soon; it’ll be over quickly. Hold on just a bit longer; it’ll be over soon!"

Ling Yueyue barely managed to open her eyes and glance at Huo Junmo; it was the first time since they met that she saw such an anxious expression on his face!

Before, regardless of the situation, he always carried a composed and graceful demeanor, with a gentle, warm smile no matter what happened!

Unexpectedly, tonight, she saw this nervous, caring, urgent, and even scared expression on his face because of her stomach pain! Suddenly, she felt this stomach pain was worth it!

Seeing him so tense, Ling Yueyue wanted to speak to reassure him, but when she tried to speak, she found she didn’t even have the strength to talk!

Huo Junmo held her tightly in his arms, trembling slightly and involuntarily.

The car sped quickly towards the hospital!

Ling Yueyue couldn’t endure the pain any longer and fainted in Huo Junmo’s arms as they were nearing the hospital.

Under this mounting anxiety, the car finally reached the destination! The driver hadn’t even stopped the car steadily when Huo Junmo already carried Ling Yueyue out of the car and rushed directly to the emergency room!

As Huo Junmo carried Ling Yueyue into the emergency room, doctors and nurses hurriedly pushed Ling Yueyue inside!

Huo Junmo sat restlessly outside the emergency room, waiting.

Time ticked away slowly, and Huo Junmo’s gaze remained fixed on the red light outside the emergency room!

No one knows how long the wait was, but finally, the red light went off! Huo Junmo hurried to the emergency room door, seeing it open from the inside and a doctor with a mask came out. Huo Junmo rushed to ask, "How’s my wife? Is she okay?"

The doctor smiled reassuringly, "Don’t worry, Mr. Huo, your wife is fine!"

Huo Junmo furrowed his brows and asked, "Then why did her stomach hurt? What caused this?"

The doctor replied, "Your wife ate something bad, which caused the stomach pain!"

"Ate something bad?" Huo Junmo’s brow tightly furrowed, then he recalled the street food Ling Yueyue and Huo Jiantian had eaten in the afternoon, his eyes tensed sharply, quickly pulling out his phone to make a call. Soon the call connected, and before the other side said anything, Huo Junmo anxiously asked, "Go upstairs and check on the young master to see if he feels unwell anywhere; if he does, bring him to the hospital immediately!"

"Alright, I’ll go check right now!" The person on the other end responded, and only then did Huo Junmo hang up.

Shortly afterward, Huo Junmo’s phone rang, he answered, and the housekeeper’s aged voice came through, "Sir, the young master is perfectly fine, sleeping soundly!"

"Keep an eye on the young master’s condition tonight, and if anything seems amiss, call me right away!" Leaving this instruction, Huo Junmo hung up and turned to the doctor, asking seriously, "My wife and son ate some street food this afternoon, could that be the reason?"

The doctor shook his head and explained with a smile, "Actually, eating street food occasionally is not a big deal, but your wife’s stomach pain is related to her pregnancy! Because of the pregnancy, her resistance is much lower than usual, hence the stomach pain! We’ve given her an IV drip, rest assured, she’ll recover quickly, and it won’t affect the baby at all!"

Upon hearing this, Huo Junmo’s eyes widened in disbelief, "Pregnant?"

The doctor nodded and said honestly, "Yes! Your wife has been pregnant for three months already; didn’t you know?"

Upon hearing this, Huo Junmo’s gaze darkened, "Three months?"

The doctor looked at Huo Junmo in surprise, "And you, as her husband, didn’t know?"

"I know, thank you, doctor!" Recovering swiftly, Huo Junmo’s expression returned to normal.

Not long after, Ling Yueyue was wheeled out of the emergency room! As she came out, she was still unconscious but had an IV drip hooked, and she looked much better than when she was carried in!

The doctor said to Huo Junmo, "We’ll move her to a ward first, keep her under observation for a night, unless something unusual pops up, she can be discharged tomorrow!"

"Thank you!" Huo Junmo nodded to the doctor and followed the doctor and medical staff to move Ling Yueyue to the ward.

Once Ling Yueyue was settled in the ward, the doctor gave serious instructions before leaving.

After the doctor and nurse left, only Huo Junmo and Ling Yueyue remained in the ward! Ling Yueyue lay on the bed with an IV drip, while Huo Junmo sat on a chair beside the bed, his deep eyes fixed unwaveringly on Ling Yueyue’s sleeping face, his hands unconsciously holding her small hand resting beside the bed, a hint of complex emotion flickering in his eyes.

Huo Junmo kept vigilantly sitting by the bed, attentively caring for Ling Yueyue! Time quietly slipped by as Huo Junmo stayed beside her until dawn!

When the first ray of morning light broke through the sky, Ling Yueyue finally opened her eyes gradually. Without a chance to figure out her surroundings, Huo Junmo’s gentle voice reached her ears, "You’re awake? How do you feel? Is there anywhere uncomfortable?"

Ling Yueyue moved her head slightly, looking towards Huo Junmo. Seeing his concerned face, she couldn’t help but ask, "What happened? What happened? Where am I?"

Huo Junmo said, "Last night your stomach hurt, so I brought you to the hospital!"

"Stomach hurt?" Ling Yueyue frowned slightly, slowly recalling the previous night’s events bit by bit!

Indeed! Last night, she was sleeping soundly when her stomach suddenly twisted with pain; initially thinking she needed the bathroom, but she couldn’t go, and the pain remained severe!
