"Hmm!" Ling Yueyue nodded, resting snugly against Huo Junmo’s chest.

Old Liu glanced at Huo Junmo and Ling Yueyue through the rearview mirror, his mouth opened, "Sir, Madam... I..." At this point, he didn’t know how to continue!

Seeing him speak hesitantly, Huo Junmo furrowed his brows tightly and said warmly, "Say whatever’s on your mind! Has anything happened at home these past days?"

Hearing Huo Junmo’s words, Ling Yueyue suddenly lifted her head from his chest, anxiously asking, "Did something happen to Tiantian?"

Seeing her misunderstanding, Old Liu quickly said, "No, Madam, rest assured, the young master has been very good these days. He’s been obedient and hasn’t caused any trouble!"

Hearing the butler’s words, Ling Yueyue sighed with relief and lay back in Huo Junmo’s arms, dismissively saying, "Oh! As long as Tiantian is fine, everything else is minor!"

Old Liu glanced at Ling Yueyue again through the rearview mirror before stammering, "It... It’s Miss Jiansi who came!"

At first, Ling Yueyue didn’t understand, puzzled she asked, "Miss? Which Miss?"

Old Liu braced himself and said, "It’s, it’s Miss Nan Jiansi!"

Upon hearing Nan Jiansi’s name, Ling Yueyue instantly perked up and lifted her head from Huo Junmo’s embrace, asking irritably, "What is she here for? When did she arrive? Why didn’t the butler inform us?"

Old Liu explained, "Miss arrived shortly after Madam and Sir left. At the time, the butler said Sir and Madam were not home, they’d gone on their honeymoon! Miss didn’t believe it, stayed at home for several days until the Nan Family came to fetch her! Unexpectedly, this morning she suddenly returned; she might’ve gotten some news from somewhere, knowing that Sir and Madam were coming home today, and insisted on staying at the house to wait for your return!"

Even though he was just a driver for the Huo Family, he belonged among the servants, and everyone working at the Huo Family knew that Miss liked Sir! And she had liked him for many years! However, Sir has never accepted Miss’s confession or her affection!

Clearly, whatever Sir needed to refuse, he had refused long ago; but Miss seemed like she didn’t understand, persistently clinging to Sir! Every time she visited, she’d act as though she was the Lady of the Huo Family.

Because of this, all the servants in the Huo Family disliked her very much!

"Oh! I got it!" Ling Yueyue responded indifferently.

She was aware of Nan Jinning’s visits to the Huo family! When Nan Jinning had called Huo Junmo late that night, and after deliberately provoking her, the butler called a couple of days later saying Nan Jinning had come! Moreover, she was demanding to see Huo Junmo, refusing to leave until she saw him!

Back then, she guessed that Nan Jinning couldn’t take the blow from that phone call, and after contemplating for two days, she couldn’t resist sneaking off to Jin City!

She thought Huo Junmo and she would still be in Jin City, not realizing they were actually on their honeymoon!

She then told the butler to let Nan Jinning stay! As they wouldn’t be back anytime soon, any unresolved issues would naturally dissipate!

Sure enough, after just a few days, the Nan Family came and took Nan Jinning away!

Thinking the situation had finally come to a close, unexpectedly Nan Jinning actually came again today! She guessed that when Nan Jinning arrived, they were on the plane with their phones turned off, and the butler couldn’t contact them, so they didn’t know Nan Jinning had come!

Ling Yueyue gritted her teeth and said, "She really is thick-skinned; after such provocation, she still dares come over. She’s really looking for trouble!"

Worried that Ling Yueyue might be upset, the driver, Old Liu, cautiously said, "Madam, don’t be angry, the butler has already called the Nan Family. We believe in a couple of days someone from the Nan Family will come to take Miss away!"

"No problem, I won’t get angry over someone insignificant! Her coming is just the right thing, if she hadn’t come this time, how would she give up?!" Saying this, Ling Yueyue smirked, a gleam of cold light in her eyes!

Seeing her expression, Huo Junmo involuntarily shivered, "W-What are you planning? You know murder is illegal!"

Ling Yueyue snorted disdainfully, "Ha! Killing her! I’m afraid I’d dirty my own hands!"

Huo Junmo anxiously asked, "Then what are you going to do?"

Ling Yueyue patted her chest forcefully, confidently saying, "I just want to show her that Ling Yueyue is the new generation of urban women, capable in the dining hall and in the kitchen, can kill Trojans, scale walls, drive cars, buy villas, fend off mistresses, and defeat ruffians! If she dares challenge me, she won’t even know what hit her!"

"Cough, cough..." Hearing Ling Yueyue’s long declaration, Huo Junmo only felt a throbbing pain in his temples, his brow twitching, mouth convulsing twice.

Listening to Ling Yueyue’s words, Old Liu admired her immensely, "Madam, you are amazing, we support you! Rest assured, all the servants at home are behind you!"

Praised by the driver, Ling Yueyue felt even prouder, "Don’t worry! I won’t let you down! When I was working, I encountered all kinds of difficult customers; a mere Nan Jinning, I don’t even bat an eye at her!"

Huo Junmo rubbed his faintly aching temples, quietly muttering, "Just hope you won’t make a mess of things at home!"

Ling Yueyue raised her brow, giving Huo Junmo a warning look, "What did you say?"

"Nothing, nothing!" Seeing her expression made him sweat coldly, Huo Junmo smiled awkwardly, pulling her back into his arms, gently saying, "Aren’t you tired? Have a rest quickly, don’t overstrain yourself!"

Ling Yueyue pushed Huo Junmo away, energetically saying, "I was tired just moments ago, but hearing Nan Jinning came, I instantly perked up, not feeling tired at all!"
