Chapter 2054: God of War, Tian Xian(End of Leaving Earth Arc)

“Brother, is it strange that even though it’s been years since we last saw each other, it didn’t feel nearly as long as the last time?” Yu Rou asked aloud.

Yuan smiled gently and responded, “That’s because as your cultivation deepens, your sense of time changes. The more accustomed you become to it, the less you notice time passing.”

“I see… I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.”

“It can be both.”

“You’ll be leaving again soon, right?” Yu Rou asked, the expression on her face turning sour.

He nodded, “Yes, I’m going to the Primordial Realm to see if Xiao Hua’s family can cure her.”

“Xiao Hua… I miss her,” Yu Rou sighed.

“Me too.”

“Since this is for Xiao Hua, I won’t say much. Just be safe, okay?”

“I won’t go unprepared. I promise.”

After spending two months together, Yu Rou left the Myriad of Techniques to resume her journey while Yuan prepared for the Primordial Realm.

However, he was still missing two of the four Ancient Seals required to open the Primordial Realm. While he could force his way inside the Primordial Realm, that would cause too much of a commotion, and he’d attract the Celestial Emperor’s attention, something he wished to avoid at all costs.

Fortunately, the Evil God’s Shadow Army had been investigating the last two Ancient Seal holders.

After leaving the Myriad of Techniques, Yuan went to find Xi Meili, who was given a method to contact the Evil God’s Shadow Army by Dong Ye.

“Dong Ye told you how to contact the Shadow Army, right?” Yuan asked for confirmation after interrupting her cultivation.

“Yes. Are you going to contact them now?” Xi Meili asked.

He nodded.

Xi Meili then retrieved a jade slip and a purple token from her spatial ring and handed it to Yuan, saying, “Dong Ye said the instructions are inside.”

“Like usual, I’ll leave Liya in your hands,” Yuan then said.

Xi Meili responded with a smile, “Don’t worry about us. We’re practically like sisters now.”

After bringing Liya to the Nine Heavens, he asked her what she wanted to do. Unsurprisingly, she said that she wanted to become stronger, as she was bottlenecked on Earth by its lack of spiritual energy. Thus, she started training with Xi Meili, who was a fellow dragon.

Of course, Yuan hadn’t forgotten about the Lord’s request, and he still planned on bringing her to the Red Heaven Dragon Clan.

Some time later, Yuan went to say goodbye to Meixiu and the others. He also left them some spirit stones for their future journey outside the sect.

“Until next time, everyone.”

Before leaving, Yuan created a new identity and disguised himself.

Then, he left Kelan’s sect through the teleportation device.

After a few days and several teleportations, Yuan arrived at a renowned commercial hub known as Red Dusk City. However, most of the businesses in this city revolved around information brokerage. It was a place people went to seek answers.

Upon entering the city, the first thing Yuan noticed was the abundance of tent-like structures lining the streets, each exuding a shady atmosphere.

Despite their shady appearance, the tents saw a steady stream of people entering and leaving. Most of them wore masks, clearly intent on concealing their identities.

Yuan wasn’t wearing a mask at the moment, but that was only because he was already in disguise. Following the instructions inscribed in the jade slip Xi Meili had given him, he soon arrived before a large building known as Dusk Intelligence.

Dusk Intelligence was a well-established information market that had existed for tens of thousands of years. Not only do they have a stellar reputation with many branches throughout the Nine Heavens, but they were also ranked among the top businesses in Red Dusk City.

Of course, in truth, it was operated by the Evil God’s Shadow Army, serving as a front to gather intelligence from all corners of the world.

When Yuan entered the building, he was greeted by a young man.

“Hello, are you here to buy or sell information?”

“I’m here to buy information.”

“I understand. Please head to the waiting room over there and wait for your number to be called.” The young man handed Yuan a small wooden token before pointing toward a large waiting area where hundreds of people could be seen sitting around.

Yuan then said, “Actually, I already have a reservation.”

“In that case, may I have your name?”

Yuan responded through Voice Transmission, “God of War, Tian Xian.”

The young man’s face immediately froze. Then, after taking a moment to comprehend what he’d just heard, his eyes widened with shock and disbelief.

“P-P-Please follow me, Esteemed Guest!” The young man stuttered, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.

Minutes later, after Yuan followed the young man into a private room and the door closed softly behind them, the young man hesitantly asked, “E-Esteemed Guest… may I be so bold as to request proof of your reservation?”

Yuan silently retrieved the purple token and showed it to the young man.

The moment his eyes fell upon the purple token, the young man dropped to his knees, his voice filled with reverence and awe as he said, “This lowly servant greets the God of War.”

“Were you expecting my presence?” Yuan asked.

“Yes.”

“Then do you know why I am here?”

“I do not, but our leader should. May I notify him of your presence?”

“Go ahead.”

“Please allow me to prepare you some tea before I—”

“No need. Just get your leader.”

“As you command.”

The young man didn’t dare to waste another second and immediately left to find the leader of the Dusk Intelligence.

Not even a minute later, Yuan heard a gentle knock on the door.

“Come inside.”

The door opened at Yuan’s command, and a middle-aged man hurriedly entered the room.

“This lowly servant is honored to stand in the presence of the God of War,” the man said as he kowtowed deeply before Yuan.
