The trio had gone directly to Huixing Tower, the largest shop in Huixing Square. After learning their purpose, an amiable shopkeeper informed them that even his establishment had none in stock.

"When is your next auction?"

Far from being disappointed, the trio was actually rather pleased.

After all, they had already looked into the general situation before arriving.

"The last one just ended. The next is in three years," the Shopkeeper said.

"That long?"

This time, the trio was finally a bit dejected.

The strategy was similar to that of the Golden Wind Sect, but Huixing Tower’s required term was significantly shorter and the benefits were considerably better.

"Is that so? Unfortunately, we belong to sects and won’t be staying in the city long-term. We can only thank you for the kind offer, Shopkeeper."

Zhang Chi and the others were a bit disappointed. They already knew about this option and had no intention of taking it.

Even a hundred years was too long for them.

The second was to go to the City Lord’s Mansion and accept missions issued by the Mansion or even the Beichen Sect.

Indeed, in the many Immortal Cities across the Endless Desert Sea, the City Lord’s Mansions typically posted missions.

The missions were varied, ranging from searching for Spirit Grass and materials, to hunting Demon Beasts, and even assassinating Tribulation Cultivators.

Completing these missions earned all sorts of rewards.

The rewards were just as varied.

This was true for Golden Wind Oasis as well, not just Beichen Oasis.

However, Golden Wind Oasis was merely a small oasis, so its missions were generally low-Level with mediocre rewards. There was absolutely no chance of finding Tier Four Cultivation Materials, much less Nascent Soul Spiritual Objects.

But a major city like the one at Beichen Oasis was completely different.

There was a good chance they could find what they were looking for here.

The Beichen Sect was the ruler of Beichen Oasis, its position analogous to that of the Golden Wind Sect in Golden Wind Oasis.

However, the Beichen Sect’s overall power was vastly greater than that of the Golden Wind Sect.

Now, Zhang Chi and the others’ next stop was the City Lord’s Mansion.

Their third plan was to attend various trade fairs or even visit places like the underground black market.

The fourth plan was the Exploration of Secret Realms and ruins.

Their final option was to become Honored Guest Elders for one of the Major Immortal Cultivation Influences, like Huixing Tower.

This was tantamount to selling themselves in exchange for Spiritual Objects. During their service, they would almost certainly be dispatched on dangerous missions, which was why it was their last resort.
