Chapter 324: Chapter 324 - The Heavenly Palm and the Fallen Body

The reaction around the Main Peak was immediate.

The Ancestors rose into the air together while the Peak Masters poured more Qi into the formation. Huo Yan activated every reinforcement layer surrounding the training ground, and Lu Canghai’s clouds spread beneath the descending palm.

Nobody intended to watch Su Bai face the final suppression alone.

Several Ancestors attacked first.

Power erupted across the Main Peak as techniques powerful enough to devastate mountains struck the pale-gold hand.

But...

Every attack passed through it.

There was no explosion. The Heavenly Palm did not even tremble.

The Ancestors’ expressions changed.

One of them flew higher and approached it directly.

His hands formed a seal before he thrust both palms upward.

The same thing happened.

His power passed through the enormous hand without finding anything solid to resist.

The Heavenly Palm continued descending through him.

The Ancestor froze for an instant as the pale-gold radiance crossed his body.

He felt no injury.

He immediately understood why.

"Heavenly Law."

The others looked toward him.

The old man’s expression had become grave.

"This isn’t condensed Qi or ordinary heavenly power. The palm is a manifestation of heavenly law itself."

Another Ancestor attempted to intercept it from a different angle.

His body passed through the descending palm as though it were only light.

There was nothing for physical strength or ordinary techniques to seize.

Lu Canghai looked toward Su Bai.

His expression hardened.

"We cannot stop it."

The words reached everyone nearby.

Nobody accepted them easily.

The Ancestors descended toward the training ground.

If they could not destroy the Heavenly Palm, they would move Su Bai out of its path.

Several figures rushed toward the inner formation.

But then, the instant they approached Su Bai, the pale-gold hand brightened.

A strange radiance washed across the Radiant Sky Sect.

Everyone who saw it stopped.

Their expressions changed.

The world before them seemed to disappear as fragments of profound law unfolded within their perception.

Even the Ancestors stiffened.

Concepts they had spent centuries struggling to comprehend appeared before them with impossible clarity.

Their instincts reacted faster than their intentions, and their minds sank into comprehension.

Lu Canghai stopped several steps from the formation.

His eyes remained open, but his awareness had already been drawn elsewhere.

Huo Yan’s hands froze over the formation controls.

Li Xuanzong stood motionless.

The Peak Masters and Ancestors entered the same strange state one after another.

The effect did not stop at them.

Across Radiant Sky Sect, disciples, elders, and even those who had only caught sight of the pale-gold radiance fell into the same state.

At the outer boundary, Shen Youran’s cold expression froze as the light reached her.

Even the visiting cultivators outside the inner boundary stopped where they stood, their earlier thoughts forgotten as fragments of heavenly law unfolded before them.

Su Bai watched all of it.

A weak laugh escaped him.

The heavens had found a remarkably generous way to remove interference.

It was giving cultivators it supposedly wanted to suppress a glimpse of heavenly law simply to keep them from helping him.

"You really want me dead that badly?"

Nobody answered.

The enormous hand descended through the outer barrier.

The formation did not react.

It passed through the inner layers with the same ease.

No inscriptions shattered.

The Heavenly Palm simply ignored everything that was not its target.

Su Bai’s expression became serious.

The Dao-Shattering Jade remained fully active.

His perception sharpened.

For the first time, he could see traces of the law composing the descending hand.

The structure was terrifyingly simple.

It had one target.

Him.

Su Bai tried to move, but his body froze.

The law surrounding the palm had already locked onto his existence.

His Qi still circulated.

His Dantians remained intact.

Yet every attempt to leave the area failed before movement could begin.

The palm descended.

Su Bai raised both arms.

The Heavenly Palm struck.

The training ground collapsed beneath him.

A violent impact passed through his entire body.

Bones shattered. His organs compressed. Blood burst from his mouth as his body was driven into the stone.

There was no harmful energy for Reversal to transform.

The force was physical.

The heavenly law merely ensured that the palm reached him.

Su Bai’s Myriad-Calamity Vajra Body reacted instantly.

His constitution recorded the damage.

The Macro-Taiji accelerated.

His whole-body attempted to stabilize itself while the Nascent Soul anchored within the Nascent Origin supported the circulation from the spiritual side.

Su Bai remained conscious... barely.

The pale-gold hand rose.

He coughed blood and tried to push himself upright.

Most of his ribs were broken.

One arm refused to move properly.

His legs trembled beneath him.

Still, he managed to lift his head.

"That hurt."

The hand descended again.

Su Bai’s eyes widened.

The second impact drove him deeper into the ruined training ground.

More bones broke.

Several organs ruptured.

The Macro-Taiji immediately began repairing the damage, but the palm rose again before the cycle could finish.

It descended a third time.

The impact scattered Su Bai’s concentration.

His solid Qi needles trembled throughout the ten Dantians.

The Nascent Origin shook.

His Myriad-Calamity Vajra Body continued adapting to the repeated crushing force, yet each descent carried greater pressure than the last.

The constitution was learning, but the heavens were escalating faster.

Another palm struck.

Su Bai no longer managed to rise.

His body remained pressed into the shattered stone.

Breathing had become difficult.

Every attempt to draw air sent pain through his ruined chest.

The hand rose again.

Su Bai tried to summon his Natal Needles.

But... nothing happened.

He could still sense them.

He simply could not make them leave his foundation.

The heavenly law pinning him down suppressed every attempt to extend power beyond his body.

The Dao-Shattering Jade allowed him to understand exactly what was happening.

That knowledge was not particularly comforting.

The palm descended.

Su Bai’s vision darkened around the edges.

The Macro-Taiji strained.

His physical foundation had suffered too much damage too quickly, and even the expanded Yin-Yang circulation could no longer restore everything before the next impact arrived.

His Myriad-Calamity Vajra Body continued recording each injury.

Its resistance improved.

The improvement was no longer fast enough.

Su Bai turned his head slightly.

Even that movement sent a fresh wave of pain through his neck.

Beyond the shattered training ground, everyone remained trapped within their strange epiphany.

Nobody could reach him.

For the first time in months, Su Bai felt genuinely helpless.

There was no enemy to deceive, no formation point to pierce, and no harmful energy for Reversal to exploit.

The heavens had simply placed an enormous hand over him and continued pressing until something broke.

Another impact struck.

Su Bai coughed weakly.

His heartbeat had become irregular.

He could barely feel his fingers.

The connection to his Nascent Soul had also become strangely distant.

For a moment, panic appeared in his mind.

But then, Su Bai remembered where the Nascent Soul was.

The Nascent Origin.

The connection had been completed before the final suppression began.

Some small part of him relaxed.

If he had suppressed Null State much earlier...

Su Bai stopped the thought.

There was very little benefit in imagining a worse death while currently being beaten to death.

The Heavenly Palm rose again.

He stared at it through blurred vision.

’I guess the heavens are still the heavens.’

A faint laugh escaped his ruined throat.

’I should’ve stayed low-key for a few more years.’

The palm descended.

Something inside his chest collapsed.

Su Bai stopped breathing.

The enormous hand rose.

His body did not move.

For several breaths, the Heavenly Palm remained above him, then it descended again.

The impact crushed what little resistance remained in his physical body.

Su Bai’s heart... stopped.

The Macro-Taiji circulation faltered.

His life aura disappeared.

Still, the hand struck once more, and again, and again.

Only after the battered body beneath it showed no sign of life did the pale-gold radiance finally begin to fade.

The Heavenly Palm slowly receded into the sky.

The pressure locking onto Su Bai vanished with it.

Silence returned to the Main Peak.

The ruined training ground was covered in cracks and blood.

At its center lay Su Bai.

His body remained intact, but almost every bone had been crushed. His organs had ceased functioning, and no breath left his lips.

No heartbeat remained, and even his life aura had vanished completely.

Su Bai... was dead.
