Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 801: You're Not Still Afraid of Me, Are You?
"Don't come any closer!"
That voice was once again as sharp as a blade, continuously retreating, trembling as it tried to get away.
"Get away from me! Go back to your own world, I don't need your pity, and don't you dare mock me either. I'm telling you to leave, did you hear me or not!!"
She shrieked in a sobbing tone.
But Lynn's gaze remained steadfast.
His pupils reflected that enormous cyst, calm without any flaw.
No one knew what he was thinking.
He simply walked toward her, step by step.
"Go away!!"
Accompanied by that piercing scream.Squelch-
A sharp protrusion of flesh and blood suddenly lashed out at him violently amidst that hysterical, prolonged shriek.
His tiny body was instantly sent flying dozens of meters, tumbling heavily and crashing onto the ground.
But he got up.
Most of the flesh on his face had been torn away, revealing the hideous wounds beneath that went deep enough to show bone.
But Lynn simply wiped his mouth forcefully, spat out a mouthful of blood-stained saliva, and with a heavy gaze climbed back up, once again trudging silently toward her.
The massive mound of flesh trembled.
At this moment.
She almost went mad, letting out wave after wave of miserable, agonized wails.
"Go away!"
"I'm telling you to go away! Don't come near!!"
"Did you hear me clearly or not!!"
One sharp protrusion after another lashed out like whips from all directions, crazily and hysterically striking his body, constantly trying to stop him, trying to drive him back. Each violent lash left behind wounds deep enough to show bone, sending him flying away again and again.
But every single time, he simply picked himself up on his own and kept pressing forward toward her direction.
Even though his skin had already been torn to shreds, dripping with blood, his gaze remained as calm as ever without the slightest change.
"Aaaahhhh!!"
Once again accompanied by a nearly collapsing scream.
Lynn's body was once again sent flying violently. The thorn-covered protrusions had left not a single intact spot on his body. He was drenched in blood, looking like an ugly, twisted walking corpse.
But just like before, even though he was broken beyond recognition, he still steadfastly crawled in her direction.
Finally.
She completely collapsed.
The twisted mass of flesh that filled the entire Alternate Dimension let out a burst of crumbling, sobbing cries.
The enormous flesh trembled continuously, as if a person who had lost all hope had completely caved in. Only the bone-piercing, grief-stricken wailing echoed through the Alternate Dimension like the reverberations of an abyss.
She didn't know why he was doing this.
She didn't know why he had to rub salt into her wounds, why he had to treat her like this!
She just didn't want him to see her in this twisted state.
What was wrong with that?!
Why did he have to come at a time like this? Why couldn't he just obediently go back and forget all of this ever happened? Why?!
Amidst the soul-crushing sobs.
Lynn, dragging his broken, no-longer-human body, finally free of any further obstruction, steadfastly trudged step by step until he stood before her.
She thought he would mock her.
Thought he would pity her.
But no.
His shattered, bloodied face simply broke into a smile just like before. Then, supporting his body, he knelt down before her, just like that cat that used to come running over to nap on her desk while yawning, purely to farm her Affinity.
Holding his broken and twisted organs, he grinned and said:
"Look, now your little cat has become just like you. But you're not allowed to mock him, you know. If you dare laugh at him, then he'll never talk to you again. And he's the type who'll burst into tears the moment you tease him!"
He deliberately put on a serious and earnest expression, adjusted his Monocle, and leaned in closer.
"Don't believe me?"
His entire body was shattered.
There was hardly a single intact spot. Even his bones were hung with hideous chunks of flesh. Even if he walked outside, no one would be able to recognize him anymore. He had practically become a broken monster like an Undead.
Yet he seemed utterly unconcerned, still making that dead-serious expression as if coaxing a child.
She slowly stopped crying.
Staring blankly at him.
At his shattered body, at his hideous, twisted face that had lost all resemblance to its original form.
And as if talking to himself, he crossed his flesh-covered legs, let out a breath, propped his broken, bloody face up with one hand, and sat beside her like he was vexed, staring up at the pitch-black sky, saying:
"So now that I've turned into this terrifying thing, you don't even want to talk to me anymore? I'm really heartbroken. I thought our friendship could withstand any test, but it turns out that just because I look a bit strange to you now, this is how you treat me..."
He rubbed his eyes vigorously.
But accidentally rubbed one of his eyeballs out, quickly turning around to put it back in place.
He put on a look of utter dejection and despair, hung his head listlessly, and one by one fiddled with his broken toes.
"Is it because you think I'm too ugly now? So ugly that I scare you, and that's why you won't say a single word to me? Is that it?"
He sniffled dejectedly, his nose stinging.
The sound of crying slowly came to a stop.
The massive, twisted mass of flesh stared blankly at him, watching his seemingly heartbroken expression.
Almost involuntarily, she said:
"It's... it's not that..."
Lynn hung his head in dejection, rubbing his eyes with a sour expression (っ ̯ -。) and said: "Really? But don't you think I'm strange? My nose is gone. My ears, face, and eyes are all rotten now. If I walked down the street, people would definitely avoid me, definitely stare at me like I'm a monster. And if you still talked to me, people would look at you with strange eyes too. And since I've become like this..."
"Then my heart must be just as twisted and terrifying as my appearance, right? That's what you think too, isn't it!"
Those words pierced her heart like needles, one after another. She stood there in a daze, staring blankly, wanting to open her mouth but unable to say a single word.
It was as if the words kept echoing in her mind, reverberating through her heart again and again.
She muttered absentmindedly, almost unconsciously:
"No, it's not like that, because... because I know you. I... I also know what kind of person you are. So even if... even if you become like this, you're still the one I've always known... the one..."
She trembled without reason, her body shaking violently.
Her voice grew lower and lower, softer and softer.
