Chapter 738: Packing Up Warships, We’ll Also Form an Army

Boom—

Another earthshattering roar and slash.

The whole ground shook and trembled, countless cracks spreading with a creak in every direction, the black mist above the sky churned and billowed as if the heavens themselves were being destroyed.

……

Over a thousand kilometers away.

Accompanied by a kaleidoscope-like distortion, Lynn suddenly opened his eyes, and immediately saw Sir Aiwen kneeling on one knee, exhausted, gasping for breath.

Beside him, Colossus's Brain and Little One had also been transferred over.

They had barely avoided that terrifying blow from the Titan Giant God just now.

“Big Brother Aiwen, can you still hang on?” Lynn rushed over and asked anxiously.

Sir Aiwen panted, leaning on his cane as he struggled to stand, staring at the roaring giant god in the distance as it brandished its twin axes, and said:

“Almost didn’t make it. I actually had heard of this Titan warrior’s victories back in the Upper World, but I never expected that after falling, he would still be this strong inside the Root realm... Your father-in-law... should probably be the top of brute force in this hell, right?”

Lynn adjusted his Monocle calmly and said, “Titan Head’s curse is a bit special. Once he gets angry it’s hard for him to stay lucid, and he’s had his curse deepened twice. Besides losing control, in this state Titan Head could indeed be the strongest in hell!”

“Titan... Head?” Sir Aiwen hesitated.

Lynn nodded and said, “Yeah. Titan Head is my father-in-law, but he’s also my sworn brother. So normally he calls me son-in-law, and I call him Big Brother. We each stick to our own terms.”

Sir Aiwen’s mouth dropped open in shock. He glanced at Little One on the side, then at Lynn.

“This... this this...”

Although he didn’t fully understand, he was truly stunned.

But once he thought of Lynn, it somehow felt less absurd; after all, for a creature so flexible with moral boundaries, this kind of relationship seemed perfectly normal.

Lynn adjusted his Monocle, looking calmly at the terrifying battlefield where the giant wielded its halberds, and said:

“With Big Brother fighting, there’s basically no real suspense.”

“But the God of All Machines certainly won’t just submit. He’s obviously still thinking of ways to turn the tide. We can’t give him any chance.”

His gaze fixed on the open battlefield.

The logic was simple.

He put himself in the God of All Machines’ current situation. If he were the God of All Machines, what would he do now?

Of course—retreat.

After all, facing a terrifying being like a Titan at this moment yields no benefit. Not to mention the Flesh and Blood Cult has already retreated; alone, he absolutely could not defeat the four Roots of theirs.

But the question was, how could he retreat?

Lynn’s brain raced. His eyes flickered as he finally thought of the only—and optimal—solution the God of All Machines could use.

“Be careful of him transferring hate.”

“Big Brother’s mind is gone right now. Since we can transfer hate onto him, he will inevitably try the same trick to escape.”

Sir Aiwen frowned and tilted his head. “You mean he’ll shift the Titan’s wrath onto us?”

Lynn shook his head, pinching his Monocle, smiling shrewdly. “No, he doesn’t have that ability. If we simply step back now, what can he transfer to? His first target is no longer to defeat us but to save himself, so the best way for him to survive is...”

Toward the battlefield.

High above, away from the Titan’s raging power, countless silhouettes repeatedly appeared, and dense warships were summoned once more.

Lynn looked up, the forming warships reflected in his eyes, and smiled faintly:

“Ah, look, he’s already doing it.”

“He’s splitting off warship units at maximum distance, issuing them a command to focus-fire my Big Brother Titan, then cutting their connections to make them independent. When they repeatedly concentrate fire on my Titan Head, the Titan Head’s attention will surely shift away from the God of All Machines’ main body.”

“So then he can escape, right?”

The principle was simple: if you are being brutally attacked by a monster, immediately send some people to viciously attack that monster back. The monster will drop you and turn to assault those attackers first, letting you slip away.

Sir Aiwen was shaken.

Indeed.

Hate separation—when the Titan can’t make proper judgments, it’s easy for its target to shift.

“So what should we do?” Sir Aiwen asked.

Lynn adjusted his Monocle, looked up, and opened his dead-fish eyes with a smile: “Ah, it’s simple. Since he’s doing that, we should take this chance to weaken his stockpile. I’m thinking if he really severs links with those warships, can we just package them up and take them?”

“If we can’t directly pack them up, I happen to have secretly hoarded a lot of Flesh Plague developed by the Flesh and Blood Cult. We could infect them first, then take them away, right?”

“Then we bring them back and study them properly, and build a mechanical fleet for Nightfall City. Isn’t that wonderful!”

Hum—

Colossus's Brain and Sir Aiwen both jolted and stared at him with horrified, ghostlike eyes.

They had thought of similar methods, but they weren’t nearly as sly and extreme as Lynn’s idea.

Still, it was a feasible plan.

After all, both of them had once been big names in the field of technology. Although their paths diverged later, hacking these intra-stellar warships wasn’t that difficult...

Absurd!

Too absurd!

Lynn pinched his Monocle and sat cross-legged on the ground, drawing a battle sketch, the corner of his mouth curved into an arc as he said:

“In that case, I’ll lay out the action plan.”

“Brain, you take sole responsibility for the eastern, northeast, and southeast regions. Take out batches as they appear, but don’t botch it—let them land smoothly. If the God of All Machines re-establishes a link, infect them with the Flesh Plague.”

“Little One, you and Big Brother Aiwen take the west and northwest regions. Little One, listen to Big Brother Aiwen—where he tells you to strike, you strike, understand?”

Little One nodded up and down (✪ω✪), indicating she would obey.

Sir Aiwen slightly frowned. “What about the remaining areas?”

Lynn smiled and looked up just as the System Space separated containers of Flesh Plague. He then clacked out the Heavy Sniper Rifle he’d swiped from Silver Fantasy and said:

“I’ll team up with Wushen Auntie. There’ll definitely be a huge number of warships we can pack up! Heh heh heh—”
