Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 736: The Most Filial Act in History
A massive explosion rang out high in the sky. Lynn snapped his head up and saw the silver-haired Girl had already charged into the upper atmosphere, transforming into a crimson radiance as she tore through one colossal warship after another. Countless wreckage rained down in a thunderous cascade, but the moment they touched the ground, they digitized and vanished into thin air.
Yet Lynn immediately noticed something.
Colossus's Brain was indeed destroying them at an astonishing speed, but for every one she obliterated, with the rapid flicker of an outline, a second and third warship would quickly materialize.
"He can continuously split and summon reinforcements?!"
Lynn asked with a furrowed brow.
Sir Aiwen's eyes shimmered with Psychic Energy as he said, "Theoretically, yes. But I'm not sure what limitations his curse places on him. From the look of things, he still can't differentiate into planet-destroying warships and a mechanical swarm. Back in the Upper World, he once split into over a thousand galaxy-level warships in a single burst. Even the two of us were suppressed consecutively and nearly lost."
"Then how did you manage to defeat him back then?"
Lynn asked with a grimace as he sprinted forward.
Sir Aiwen raised his head, took a deep breath, and replied, "Our Cyber civilization and the Colossus cooperated. We forcibly performed a high-dimensional expansion of that vast cosmic space using Psychic Energy, allowing the Colossus to step inside him. After dealing a devastating blow to his consciousness, we barely managed to suppress him."
He turned his head with a complicated expression, staring at the endless fleet bearing down on them."But now, I'm afraid I no longer have the power to elevate a Root-level being and enter his interior."
…
Above the sky, the warships that kept materializing had gradually formed a considerable scale. Dense death beams converged upon Colossus's Brain, making her assault increasingly difficult.
Meanwhile, the warships and mechanical units continued to multiply exponentially, as if they could never be killed, never be exhausted.
Still, for now, those warships couldn't inflict truly lethal damage on Colossus's Brain or Sir Aiwen.
But Lynn understood.
This was a process of quantitative change leading to qualitative change!
When their numbers grew large enough—exceeding a certain threshold—that would be the moment they would be completely overwhelmed.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh—
Countless black battle armors, fearless of death, fold-jumped from all directions, charging straight at them.
Gritting his teeth, Sir Aiwen manipulated Psychic Energy to directly shift the onrushing armors into the reverse side of space, easily sweeping them away. But after killing one wave, a hundredfold, a thousandfold more mechanical armors surged at them.
"We can't delay any longer! We need to find a way to stop his expansion, or we'll have to retreat!"
A gleam flashed in Lynn's eyes. He adjusted his Monocle, then spun around as Titan runes flickered across his forehead.
"Wushen Auntie, can you still strike his main body?"
The moment his words faded—
Whoosh!
The tens of thousands of warships and mechanical units before him abruptly came to a strange halt.
With a horrific grinding screech, those warships and battle armors immediately disintegrated, transforming into a swirling mass of countless cawing crows.
Lynn knew.
Wushen Auntie had made her move!
In the next instant, those crows converged into a terrifying face that blotted out the sky, shrieking as it hurtled toward the colossal black hole within the Rift—the very hole that was the God of All Machines' main body!
But just as Lynn expected a massive collision, something bizarre happened. The endless swarm of crows plunged straight into the black hole, only to burst out again hundreds of kilometers away from various points.
Lynn's pupils constricted instantly.
It had no effect!
The venomous voice of the Godweaver Head immediately echoed in his mind.
"He's used some method to virtualize his main body and the space he occupies. He's essentially not here anymore. My Voodoo curse can't take hold of him—only those steel boxes he summons."
At that moment, Lynn's heart sank to the bottom.
And he finally grasped the terror of the God of All Machines' method.
Preventing anyone from attacking his main body, while ceaselessly expanding and splitting—unleashing endless fleets and armors into a mechanical tide. Quantity turning into quality. And this wasn't even in outer space; given enough room, his power would only grow greater.
"But there's still one way."
Lynn adjusted his Monocle, a cunning light flashing in his eyes. He cast a sidelong glance at his Father-in-law in the distance, who was still tearing through that space, butchering the world of the Flesh and Blood Dominator.
"Sir Aiwen, I need to ask you for a favor."
"What is it?"
"Big Brother, can you redirect all those warships' cannon fire? Aim every single shot straight at my Father-in-law."
"???!"
Sir Aiwen spun his head in shock, staring at the sly, scheming Lynn as if he were looking at an utterly abnormal anomaly.
Then he glanced at the massive, rampaging Titan in the distance.
His mind instantly went blank.
And he immediately understood the intent behind Lynn's vicious plan.
God damn… this… this…
Lynn, I get it. You want to draw your Father-in-law's aggro and make him help you fight the God of All Machines. But does it really sit well coming out of your mouth like that?!
Aren't you being just a little too filial here?!
"Are you sure?"
Sir Aiwen was clearly shaken to the core.
Lynn pressed his temple, his Dead-Fish Eyes half-closed as he apparently communicated with the Godweaver Head, nodding repeatedly. He then cut off the connection, adjusted his Monocle, and said with closed eyes:
"Don't worry. I've already told Wushen Auntie about this plan."
"She's expressed her full approval. She says go ahead and let loose. Auntie also offered to slap a few attack-boosting buffs on those warships."
The moment the words left his mouth, Sir Aiwen watched in shock as the thousands of warships above—whose cannons were aimed directly at them—suddenly flickered with wisps of black mist. Countless runes cascaded across their hulls.
Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom—
The beams that had been erupting toward them instantly doubled in intensity, swelling thicker and larger, crawling with strands of vicious black vapor.
They were really enhanced!
At that moment.
Sir Aiwen panicked, finally abandoning all hesitation. He immediately channeled his Psychic Energy to the fullest, spreading it out before him and performing all-out interference.
Because if he didn't redirect now, they'd be the ones getting blasted to ash!
Whoosh—
The terrifying, destructive beams shot forward in an instant. The blinding light made it impossible for anyone to keep their eyes open. But the moment they struck Sir Aiwen's Psychic Barrier, they were absorbed into it.
A few kilometers away.
The raging, maddened Titan, whose mouth was wide open and spewing crimson light at the Flesh and Blood Dominator's world, didn't notice the large Psychic Interference rift opening up right behind his head.
"Die—all of you—"
Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom—!!
Under Sir Aiwen's rigid gaze, the enhanced death beams he had redirected landed with pinpoint accuracy all over the Titan Giant God's head.
Not a single drop was wasted.
"…"
A brief, eerie silence—like the dead of night.
Even the countless warships that had been relentlessly spamming troops and bombarding Colossus's Brain froze for just a moment.
Slowly, the dust cleared.
They could faintly make out that the massive Titan Giant God's back of the head now had a patch of hair burned clean off—like a bald spot—revealing a gleaming, polished scalp beneath.
Ding—
That bald spot caught the light and glinted sharply at them.
"…"
