Chapter 1560: Chapter 44: Gone with the Wind of Battle Flags

"Order..." Chen Fengxi stood on the command platform, uttering just two words before his voice was choked. His hand gripped the railing tightly, veins bulging. His eyes sparkled with excitement, and his chest heaved violently.

Chen Fengxi’s voice echoed through the command hall, with a somewhat chaotic breath spreading through the open broadcast across the entire building.

The winter wind swept past the square building, causing the windows and corridors to howl. The busy staff paused their steps.

They raised their heads, quietly listening.

The sky was already bright, the sun occasionally peeking through the clouds.

Sunshine warmed their faces, as time seemed to flow by, giving everyone a sense of being adrift through the ages.

Reflecting on the past thirty-some hours, it feels like a dream!

The noisy hall gradually quieted down. The corridors, offices large and small, and the square courtyard of the building also became silent.

Some staff walked out of the electronic mecha in the courtyard center, the bluestone floor still showing remnants of night rain. Guards stopped their patrol mechas and opened cockpits. People gathered like flowing sand towards the broadcast area.

Outside the building, a speeding off-road vehicle screeched to a halt before walls piled with sandbags and barriers. Amidst the flying dust, the driver and an officer with important documents opened their doors, looking bewildered at the seemingly frozen-in-time command center.

The Chuckna Army flag hanging by the building windows fluttered in the wind, faces glowing red with excitement.

Everyone knew, after more than thirty hours of battle, this campaign set to be etched in Human War History was finally nearing its ultimate victory!

On the Sunset Mountain frontline, the Su Jie Alliance Army’s eighteen full-scale attacks couldn’t move an inch past the defense line; of two hundred unstoppable Judgers, only less than forty remain!

Wave upon wave of enemy armored clusters crashed repeatedly against the position, only to be smashed to pieces each time.

The battered position has been stripped down countless times; at dawn, only a scene of blood flowing and bodies strewn remains.

Yet thousands of Fei Alliance Soldiers stood firmly in front of the enemy, enduring deadly battles without retreating even a step.

The bandit army and Chuckna flags still flutter defiantly in the position!

Meanwhile, on the west of Sunset Mountain Basin, under Fatty’s lead, the Fei Alliance Joint Army quickly swept across the Six Major Battlezones.

The latest battle reports reveal the Western Alliance forces besieging the Seven-star and Xiushui River major towns have disintegrated completely under the crushed bamboo-like assault of the bandit army’s five hundred Rampage Mechas.

Countless dead and wounded enemies fled in all directions, panicked like lost dogs, rushing chaotically without discernment. The city center outskirts, roads and bridges are all littered with enemy corpses and mecha remnants. The two major towns have finally returned to Fei Alliance Joint Army hands.

Alongside fourteen Fei Alliance divisions’ rolling iron streams extending along inter-city highways from the two towns. Bellif Northern Cluster’s main force retreat path has been cut off!

Now, just waiting for Chen Fengxi’s command, Fei Alliance reserve troops waiting for a long time behind Sunset Mountain will pounce upon the enemy like downhill tigers for the final lethal blow!

Everyone is quietly waiting.

Pierre stood beside Chen Fengxi, head raised, teeth clenching audibly. The temple pulsing with veins visibly twisting. His entire body trembled slightly with uncontrollable excitement.

Two meters to the left, Margaret remained much calmer. She gently gripped the command platform railing, her gaze deep, her thoughts unknown. Ann Lei stood beside her; the graceful shapes of the two girls in uniform looked even more elegant and delicate, like two aromatic orchids.

This world of blood, Fierce Fire, and steel, because of their presence, still retained a touch of softness.

To the right of the command platform was Blatt, Fei Ouwen, and the bandit army leaders alongside a group of Senior Officers from the Leifeng Star Army. The light from the electronic sandbox illuminated these soldiers standing solemnly, reflecting the fiery intensity in their eyes.

This fire burned fiercely.

The time has come.

Chen Fengxi took a deep breath, a static hiss cutting through the broadcast.

He leaned forward, ordering firmly: "Commence the general attack!"

The deep voice echoed across the hall, like a gradually resounding battle horn.

After a brief silence, the entire command headquarters erupted. Everyone seemed revived from a petrified state. No worries, anxiety, none of the previous apprehensions; at this moment, there was only one goal!

Hundreds of staff scrambled chaotically. The clatter of keyboard typing, the sound of rushing footsteps, shouts, reports, calls, filled the air.

Diana, Isaac, and Garfield stood on the second-floor platform of the command hall.

"We seem to have missed something." Diana appeared subdued, tone carrying a note of unspeakable melancholy and helplessness.

Isaac lowered his head, his expression cold.

Garfield let out a long sigh.

They witnessed the birth of a miracle, yet couldn’t participate.

"Finish them off!" A staffer at the downstairs control console shouted into the communicator at the liaison officer in the front.
