Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 1530: Chapter 34: Blitz (17)_4
More importantly, Reinhardt could clearly feel that no matter how powerful he was, no matter how many Rangers he killed, those wretches showed no fear.
They were an incomprehensible bunch of lunatics, risking their lives in such a way that instilled not heroism, but ridicule and mockery.
Even if the cost was their life, they did not hesitate, just to grab a piece of you, to land a punch.
Just to provoke you!
Reinhardt admitted that he was enraged by these stubborn madmen.
A few hours earlier, his carefully arranged challenge was thwarted by the bandit army with a shameless ambush. Not only did it fail to reignite the morale of the Suss Allied Army, it caused morale to drop even further.
In the subsequent seven ferocious attacks, he managed to kill thirty Rangers, but two squadrons of Judgers still couldn’t break through the opponent’s defenses.
By now, of two hundred Judgers, only ninety were left. Of the more than four hundred Rangers of the bandit army, fewer than two hundred remained.
A loss ratio of one to two point something might be a victory for others, but for the Judgers, it was an outright failure.
Reinhardt could very easily identify these mechas. Because, their identical chubby faces and their combat style, approach, were exactly the same as that person!
In Gazalin, he was enraged by that Fatty countless times. And now, hundreds of Fattys were swaying in front of him, attacking with vicious and vile moves!
Only five meters! The stronghold was within a step away!
"Boom!"
Just as Reinhardt set foot on the front line, he crossed his arms to block a frontal kick from a Ranger, and the mecha staggered back several steps, leaving deep marks in the muddy ground with its anti-slip treads.
"Humph!" Reinhardt snorted coldly, and while retreating, the mecha suddenly and unexpectedly charged forward, its fists, one above the other, whistled sharply through the air, rushing towards the just-landed Ranger.
He was at the forefront of all the attacking mechas. Behind him, dozens of Judgers followed him step by step, advancing. This time, no matter what, he was going to break through this stronghold!
"Screw your mother!" The slower-moving Ranger mimicked Reinhardt’s punch with two semicircles, then took a step forward, aiming a shoulder strike at the Judger’s chest.
Reinhardt’s eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze sharp as a knife, as the mecha stepped back before executing a series of kicks in quick succession.
"Screw your sister!" The bandit army mecha pilot, filled with curses, missed with his shoulder strike, then spun 270 degrees, dodging the kicks while throwing a powerful punch towards the Judger’s left ear.
Reinhardt leaned back, flipping backwards to dodge the Ranger’s punch.
As the fist brushed past the Judger’s head by mere millimeters, the speed and proximity caused a red glow to appear from the friction between the fist and the mecha’s attachable armor.
Reinhardt landed on the ground from his flip, took a few sidestepped steps with the mecha, and was already at the Ranger’s left side, unleashing a vicious Double Peak Piercing Ears attack, aimed straight for the Ranger’s head.
He swore he would blow this foul-mouthed bastard to pieces!
This time, the Ranger couldn’t dodge Reinhardt’s lightning-fast strike. The mecha’s head was instantly shattered.
As if knowing there was no chance of survival, the bandit army mecha pilot made a final desperate effort, grabbing towards Reinhardt, while the energy cannon in his chest and the missile launcher at his waist opened fully!
"Screw your sister!"
This was the last sentence the bandit army mecha pilot left in this world.
Soon after, the Ranger turned into a sky-high flame following a white flash. The raging fire spread, turning the area into a sea of fire, and thick smoke climbed into the sky along with the fireball’s churn.
Reinhardt, almost embarrassingly, rolled out from the flames.
The mecha’s attachable armor was hanging like rags in several places, with the chest, arms, and thighs covered in scars.
Gazing at the burning fireball, and at the new Ranger leaping out from behind it, he suddenly realized that the ten-meter distance to the stronghold felt so unattainable.
