[FROLO]

Nights in Frolo had always been busy, but tonight was a particularly busy one.

Aleksandr was thinking of what he needed to do because apparently everything he knew about Sergei was nowhere close to what Sergei Moskwosky really was.

The doctors in Aslava were doing their best to revive the man who was so doped up and looked like he was a few heartbeats from the morgue.

Sergei was having the time of his life as Katya milked his dick dry in a lounge across the city. The omega was taking it all without shame, like they didn’t have the longest day of their lives.

Meanwhile, in a different club across the city, Yaroslav Moskwosky was punching the life out of some man.

He had gone on a night out with Irina and Nikolai, his best friend. They were actually having fun despite the endless whispers about Sergei and Katya being so happy together.

He didn’t mind it, really, even when they said shit about how he was dumped and his husband had gone to his father. He didn’t care. Not anymore. Katya was happy. His father was happy. The men he loved were happy.

Until...

"Yaroslav Gamov is better than me. If my husband fucked my dad, I would kill him and then my dad. Because what the fuck kind of nonsense is that?"

Irina held Yaroslav back.

Poured more drinks for him.

Nikolai tried distracting him because, honestly, no one wanted to see an angry Yaroslav.

Sure, he was already bad enough because he was Sergei Moskwosky’s son. But Yaroslav had the kind of temper that made the gods question whatever the fuck they had done with him. And it didn’t even help that he was Sergei Moskwosky’s son.

Tempers were apparently the best way to tell who was a Moskowsky and who wasn’t.

"You wanna say that to my face?" Yaroslav challenged, making his friends let out sighs.

There was no going back from this because Yaroslav was angry. He was not even trying to hold back anymore. He hated that everyone seemed to have an opinion about his father and Katya.

Couldn’t they just let those two be happy?

Was that so hard for them at the moment?

What the hell did they even think they knew about his father’s happiness?

"Why? What are you going to do? You got the woman who was pretending to date your father right there with you. You sure you’re not trying to make her your stepmommy again?

"Especially after what Katya Romanov is known for?" the man challenged, and Irina was the first to step forward.

"Leave while you can... While you still have your life," Irina said, the warning clear in her tone even though she was being slandered too.

She knew what this looked like, and she knew that the moment Yaroslav had long accepted that Katya and his father were together, the beta had sworn to protect both of them.

These people were not talking to an unhealed ex-husband who was bitter about his father choosing his ex-husband to be his new daddy.

They were talking to a son who was determined to protect his father and make sure his father’s happiness was not something to be mocked in public spaces.

"Aww, you got your stepmommy to protect you, hmm?" another said.

Then hell broke loose.

Irina threw the first punch, Yaroslav and Nikolai joined in, and the rest of the night was filled with men and women learning to keep their mouths shut about anything that concerned Sergei’s romantic life.

By the time the night ended, there were so many broken bones, and people were being rushed to hospitals. Not to mention the fact that some police officers were hurt in the process.

And the trio?

They walked to the nearest police car themselves, since they hadn’t been cuffed.

No one had dared.

After all, Yaroslav was... well, Yaroslav. No one in their right mind would want to be on record as the people who tried to arrest Sergei Moskwosky’s son.

"We respect the law," they said, even as the officers tried to talk them into getting out from the back of their van.

It was almost like they were trying their very best to do their jobs, but no job was worth being on the wrong side of Sergei Moskwosky. And much less being on record as the ones who had hurt his son.

"Aren’t you supposed to be telling us to shut up and dragging us to the police station or something?" Yaroslav asked when the car stayed out there for a long time.

The officers stared helplessly, unsure of what they were supposed to be doing.

"Well, if you’re just scared of driving us away, open the door. I need to break a few more bones," Nikolai said like it was the most normal thing with everyone who was watching them out there.

People needed to understand why it was so wrong to try talking shit about Sergei and Katya.

They didn’t care that the man was the devil of Frolo.

But love was something that Sergei had just found again, and while the man was the worst of the worst, he was also Yaroslav’s father. And Yaroslav was Nikolai’s best friend, and Nik didn’t mind getting in trouble for that.

"Maybe we should drive ourselves there?" Yaroslav said as he watched the people they had hurt be driven away in ambulances. There were firemen who had arrived too, and frankly that was the least of their concerns.

Frolo needed to learn a few more lessons.

"Okay, sir. We shall drive you to the police station," the officer at the front said, still horrified that this would not end well for him or his family.

"Your dad is going to kill us tomorrow," Nikolai laughed as they drove away.

"Like that one time he came to bail us out, disappointment on his face... I was sure he would ground me for eternity," Yaroslav chuckled, laughing at the sight of a displeased Sergei glaring at both of them like they were the idiots of the century.

"Hell, he’s going to kill me too for getting in trouble with you two," Irina chuckled like this was just a normal day for both of them.

"At least with you, we know he won’t get us running laps around the old mill again. I still have nightmares from the last time we ran around that thing. It was like the world was ending," Yaroslav grumbled.

"Nah, that wasn’t the worst... Remember when he caught us trying to talk Miss Anya out of making us go to football camp?" Nikolai added, wincing a bit at the way he’d been roughed up too.

They all had pretty visible scratches on them, but their victims were worse, which was the only consolation.

"Oh, I remember... he was like, ’Young Nikolai Korin. Do you have a better place to be than growing up like a normal child?’ and I was so scared because he had this look that said we were going to that camp whether we liked it or not," Nikolai laughed.

"Yeah, and he even packed our bags the following morning, talking about, ’If you get in trouble out there, it better not be because you started it,’" Yaroslav added, laughing heartily at the memories of his disappointed father finding them trying to bribe their way out of football camp.

They spent the entire drive to the police station reminiscing, thinking about how the old grumpy Moskowsky would be coming for them in the morning, while the officers just listened, unsure of whether they were in the same world as those three.
