Contract Marriage: Married to My Ex-Husband's Alpha Stepfather [BL]
Chapter 363: His Choice… His Obsession, His Dedication
[FROLO]
Sergei Moskowsky coming to a fashion show was not even on the list of impossible things. Hell, it wasn’t even a possibility that anyone in their right mind would ever have considered. The devil of Frolo had always proven he had far better things to do.
So, when Sergei walked in while the show had already begun, when Katya Romanov walked right beside him, Sergei’s hand holding his tightly, with the omega looking thoroughly claimed...
When Katya walked the runway to the farthest seat in the room while Sergei watched him with soft eyes, eyes so tender, like the stars were really hung in Katya’s eyes, everyone felt the shift.
The Romanov omega.
Walking the runway.
In his pajamas of all things.
Looking like he’d been fucked moments earlier.
No one had expected that.
And worse, when he reached the end of the runway, there was no seat for him. Not because the seats in the room were all occupied, but because, for some reason, Sergei Moskowsky’s lap was not as bad a seat.
Katya sat on Sergei like he belonged.
Like this was not new to him.
He rested his head on the nook of Sergei’s neck like this was just a show that he’d come to because his alpha wanted.
And Sergei...
No one missed the possessive way he was holding Katya’s waist. The way he was sniffing the omega every three seconds like a deranged alpha.
Of course, the show went on.
The show had to go on.
The models walked. Nervous. Yet still managed to set their fear of the devil of Frolo aside.
Katya would occasionally point at the models, letting Sergei know which one he liked.
And Sergei...
The alpha wasn’t even looking at the show anymore.
The moment Katya sat up on his lap and began watching the runway models intently, Sergei’s attention stayed on Katya. Watched every emotion on his omega’s face like he was mastering it all.
Committing every smile to memory.
Every raised brow.
Every little laugh that was meant for no one’s ears in particular.
Sergei noticed it all.
Because the fashion show and the models may have been of interest to Katya Romanov. But Sergei Moskowsky had only one interest.
His omega.
His little brat, who was pretending to be so good while wiggling on his lap, still, with every innocent move while he pointed at the models, clapped when everyone did, and cheered like the rest.
It was probably an innocent move, but after what Katya had done in the car, Sergei didn’t mind. And when the fashion show was over, and the last of the models disappeared, Sergei and Katya got up.
"Vladimir, did you see the ones I liked?" Katya asked excitedly, his voice low, but fuck, the smile on his face was something that Sergei Moskowsky would never get tired of.
"Yes. Rahim is already collecting them as we speak," Sergei said, his eyes never once leaving Katya’s.
Katya raised a brow at him.
"Do I have something on my face?" Katya wondered, not caring about the cameras he knew had been on him and Sergei the moment they’d walked in.
"You’re so beautiful, Solnyshka," Sergei whispered, and Katya looked around them.
He could still see some people seated while others were walking away, trying hard to pretend like this didn’t get them curious about the fact that Katya Romanov and Sergei Moskowsky were at the most random of fashion shows.
"A piece of art for my heart," Sergei whispered, tucking a stray strand of hair from Katya’s face.
His omega was stunning.
And he looked delicious. Fuck.
"You can’t ju—" Katya began, ready to complain.
"May I kiss you, lyubim," Sergei said quietly, asking for permission, something that had Katya glaring at the man. His lips were still swollen, and it was this mad man’s fault for eating his mouth instead of kissing him like a normal person.
"Do you have Alzheimer’s by chance?" Katya asked, his voice low.
But not low enough that the people around them did not hear.
"Your lips..." Sergei strained, like he was really, really trying to be a better person.
"Unbelievable. You kiss me like I’m the air you breathe and suddenly you’re asking for permis—" Katya rambled before realizing what was happening.
"Oh..." Katya breathed.
The public.
The cameras.
Sergei was asking if it was okay for him to kiss Katya in public. Even after everything, he still cared what Katya’s opinion was.
And right there and then, Katya knew if he said no, Sergei would not kiss him. Would not touch him. Would not do anything.
"Alpha..." the omega keened, not bothering to lower his voice. Hell, it was as if the world had disappeared and right now it was just him and his alpha.
"Solnyshka," Sergei breathed subconsciously.
Suddenly the air around them changed, before exploding.
That word.
Solnyshka.
Sergei had said it once after the interview that exposed Aleksandr as a member of the bratva.
"Did he just..."
"No way."
"They’re dating?"
Katya heard them all, and when he looked at Sergei and noticed how weary the alpha was...
Katya slammed their lips together.
Not softly or courteously.
He kissed Sergei like it was just them again. With no one watching.
"Little wolf," Sergei breathed when they pulled back.
"Your little wolf," Katya said, looking into Sergei’s eyes while he batted his lashes at the man whose self-control was already spread thin.
"Let’s get you trying the outfits before I do something your father might shoot me in the head for," Sergei said, trying to be rational.
But Katya...
"Does that mean I get a reward for being good, alpha?" Katya asked shamelessly, ignoring the endless camera flashes on them.
He didn’t care.
Not anymore.
"You little spoiled brat," Sergei groaned before he scooped Katya and carried him bridal style down the aisle next to the runway.
"You like it," Katya laughed, hiding his face in the crook of Sergei’s neck.
"No, Solnyshka. I love it... I love... you," Sergei said.
Katya just smiled before kissing Sergei’s neck like a deranged omega.
And fuck if Sergei didn’t still for a moment.
"Solnyshka," he warned softly, but Katya just let out a low laugh.
"Why did we stop, alpha? Too weak to carry your omega away?" Katya challenged, whispering into Sergei’s ear.
And Sergei...
"Where the fuck is the dressing room?" he growled at the security guard, who shakily pointed it out to him.
Sergei didn’t say a word to the man.
But Katya did.
"Thank you for your service... Sir," Katya said, knowing damn well he was walking on fire right now.
But did he really care?
Sergei growled.
Low. Threatening. Possessive.
And people scattered.
Models and staff rushed to stay out of his way. Even the cameras had stopped rolling as Sergei snarled at almost everyone, while Katya kissed his neck like he wasn’t testing the alpha’s patience.
"We’re getting late, alpha. Need to try out the outfits so we can go home," Katya reminded and only then did Sergei stop snarling at everyone and lead them both to the dressing room.
And so, the city spiraled into chaos, and gossip about what had happened.
While Katya...
Safe to say the dressing room was cursed.
Because when they stepped out an hour later...
Katya Romanov was limping, a satisfied glow on his face, his pajamas still on him, and a huge bite mark on his neck.
Sergei looked... Normal?
"Do you need help walking, my beautiful?" he teased, and Katya began rolling his eyes at the alpha, while Sergei’s lips curved into a knowing smirk.
The omega stopped rolling his eyes instinctively, not out of fear; that much was obvious. He smelled like Sergei, and not in the we shared the same space for an hour kind, no. Katya looked wrecked, more than he had been when they had walked into the fashion house.
Models and staff stared at them, giving them knowing looks while Katya tried to keep a straight face. But what use was that, when he looked more than ruined?
"If I see footage of my omega looking like this out there..." Sergei warned.
"You won’t, Mr. Moskowsky. We wish you and Chairman Romanov a good day," one of the higher-ups at the counter said.
"Boyfriend," Sergei corrected.
"Ruined me and still has the strength to correct people. I hate alphas," Katya grumbled lowly.
"I see you still have some bratty attitude left. Want me to fuck it out of you again?"
Katya almost died.
"I’m going home alone, Vladimir," the omega groaned, walking three steps before turning to glare at Sergei.
"What are you waiting for?" he huffed.
"Rahim will handle the rest. Excuse me, my little brat needs me," Sergei said before hurrying to carry Katya home, leaving behind a shocked audience.
"Alpha... knot," Katya whined when they got to the car.
"Again? You haven’t even recov—"
"Knot. Want alpha’s knot."
And no was suddenly not in Sergei’s vocabulary for the day.
