Chapter 1667 - 838: Decapitation Operation_2

Chapter 1667: Chapter 838: Decapitation Operation_2

Lin Beichen understood; it seemed like this was yet another new challenge—a city counterterrorism exercise, still a red-blue confrontation, indicating many unresolved issues.

After much commotion, everything finally began.

Several helicopters appeared in the sky over the Seventh District once more.

"Everyone, we are about to participate in a red-blue confrontation exercise. The specific deployment is not yet clear. We will discuss it on the ground."

As the helicopters landed smoothly, they successfully reached the temporary command post of the Red Legion.

Just then, the chief commander caught sight of Lin Beichen again.

"Isn’t that the guy who was our examiner last time?"

Facing this situation, the commander was also filled with doubt.

"The current situation is like this: our city is under enemy invasion and has been controlled by the enemy. Now, our remaining troops are organizing resistance. Your mission this time is to infiltrate the enemy, using your wisdom and strategy, and complete this decapitation operation."

At this moment, the target individual appeared on the big screen.

"All related information has been sent to your individual combat devices. From now on, it’s all up to you."

"Yes!" Everyone responded in unison.

Lin Beichen carefully examined the situation and found that the confrontation between the red and blue sides was fiercely ongoing. He had ten special operations teams on hand, but deciding how to break the deadlock was truly challenging at the moment.

In that case, they could only try to push forward.

After leaving the operations command post, they found a relatively quiet place to take a brief rest.

"Given the current situation, it seems the city has been completely taken over by the enemy. Even the various police forces are likely under Blue Army control," Lin Beichen said as he scanned the crowd.

"As the saying goes, ’The brave wins when paths cross,’ but we must infiltrate secretly this time. As for the method, I hope each squad leader considers their own. I emphasize one point: our first priority is to take control of the television station."

Listening to Lin Beichen, everyone immediately understood the crux.

"We must first make the television station the core, announcing through it that we have infiltrated. With that, the entire Blue Legion will start searching for us everywhere, bringing the situation to life."

At that moment, Lin Beichen looked at Chen Lin.

"Now I need to mention something: we have female soldiers in our special operations teams. I have an idea to integrate all female soldiers into a new special operations team. Chen Lin, you’ll be the leader. Your task is to find a way into the television station and utilize your advantages to solve problems."

"Yes!" Chen Lin responded firmly.

Lin Beichen then looked at the other team members.

"Remember, although our combat units are incomplete, we must cooperate. If there’s no other way, use the 3-3 formation principle I taught you!"

"Yes!" The team members responded in unison.

After defining individual action areas, they began to disperse and start their missions.

Lin Beichen followed Yu Feng’s team, stealthily infiltrating the city.

This time, things were different from before. Each team displayed its unique skills, trying to penetrate the city.

The team Lin Beichen belonged to chose to pose as small-time gangsters.

They first found a barbershop outside the city to create wigs, making them look like a group of thugs.

"We will infiltrate at night; the Red Legion has already prepared weapons for us inside the city. This is where the weapons are stored. We just need to fetch the equipment from the eleven designated locations."

At this time, the eleven teams also began sequentially infiltrating the city interior.

"Haha! What a coincidence, running into an old acquaintance."

This time, things took a new turn.

Lin Beichen walked alone to a police officer.

"Captain Wang, didn’t expect me to come, did you?"

This Captain Wang was once one of them but later joined the SWAT team for various reasons. Seeing Lin Beichen appear, their eyes met.

"Come over here," Captain Wang said.

Seeing Lin Beichen dressed like a street thug, Captain Wang was shocked.

"Where have you been these years? Have you really fallen to become a thug?"

"This is a disguise. Since it’s just the two of us, I’ll be frank. I’ve brought a special operations team intending to pass through here and didn’t expect to encounter you."

"Are you saying your team is here?"

"Yes! My special operatives are infiltrating in various ways. My team is nearby, all disguised as thugs. If your police car can help us get in, that would be great."

"Alright! Here’s what we’ll do: we’ll take you to the police station, where there’s a hidden passage you can use to get out."

"Good!"

Just like in a scene where police capture small-time gangsters, they were ’caught’ and brought to the station.

On the surface, the police and the Blue Army seemed cooperative, but in reality, the police didn’t obey them.

So, they were led outside the interrogation room.

To put on a show, a police officer had been waiting for them.

"Follow me," the officer said.

After some complications, they successfully gained two police cars.

"These police cars are yours for now. We’ll take them back when necessary. Rest assured, we know what to do," the officer said.

They rushed at full speed to the designated location, quickly securing and handling the weapons and equipment.

After switching cars, they headed straight to the rendezvous point without a moment’s rest.

Other special operations teams also gradually arrived using their unique methods. The meeting place remained the familiar old soldier’s bar.

"Old pal, nice to see you again!"

"Didn’t expect you’d choose this place; aren’t you afraid the Blue Legion will target it as a key spot?"

"They say the most dangerous place is often the safest. If I don’t trust what you’re up to, who else would I trust?"

They exchanged knowing smiles.

"Let’s not talk about that. Here’s the latest intel. You can use this place as a transfer station. Also, I’ve prepared breakfast for you; eat well before the operation."

The female special operations team was the first to set off.

Their mission was to control the television station while assigning several members to ambush outside.

All operations officially commenced.

Lin Beichen immediately led part of the team outside the television station, quickly finding a safe spot to hide.

"Listen up, everyone. From now on, we’re outnumbered and outgunned. You must use tactics flexibly, avoid direct confrontations, and our main task is to provide support. If the female special operations team can’t break through, we must seize the opportunity to assist."

"Yes!" Everyone responded in unison.

However, this female special operations team was not to be underestimated; every member was highly skilled, a true "crouching tiger, hidden dragon." One member even drove a Lamborghini into view.

"Wow! She’s quite the tycoon, coming to the meeting in a Lamborghini?"

Everyone was surprised. In the Seventh District, no one settled down, and it turned out this member was a wealthy second-generation individual.

"Sorry, you can’t enter without a work badge." The soldier at the gate stopped her.

"A work badge? Oh no! I left it inside. How about I go in first and then get it, okay?"

This special operations team member deliberately feigned nervousness.

"Sorry, no can do. Orders from above: you must have a work badge to enter—no exceptions, not even for emergencies."

At this moment, a "performance" began. The team member suddenly switched to a shrew, lambasting the soldier:

"I’m one of the people in charge here and need to host the program. If the show goes unattended and problems arise, can you shoulder the responsibility? Who will account for the loss? I know this is an exercise."

This left the soldiers at a loss for words. Soon, a stern-looking officer approached.

"I’m sorry, but this is the current situation. We’ve taken control of the television station, and the orders are no entry without a work badge, no matter how urgent the matter."
