Dominic and his team did not dare to stop until they reached the city gates and entered. They only relax after making sure that they have fully escaped the grasp of the internationally wanted criminal at the Domain Realm.
Even though Dominic and Mahon had their respective means to escape from someone on that level, the rest of the team would most likely be killed during the process since they did not have similar strength or abilities.
“That’s close! We will most likely be in trouble if not for Sleepyhead’s technique,” he mumbled with a bit of fear after recalling the earlier event.
He then turned to the guy, who was still in his sleeping bag and refusing to move.
With a twitch of his mouth, Dominic suddenly scolded. “Stop playing dead! We still have work to do!”
Mahon finally made some movement, opening the zipper of the sleeping bag a little. He stared at Dominic with half-closed eyes before answering. “Do you know how hard it is for my special ability to affect the mind of someone on that level?”
“I have already exhausted a lot of strength and need to rest. Don’t bother me!” he added before swiftly closing the zipper.
The corner of Dominic’s mouth could not help but twitch once again after seeing that scene. He did not know if what this sleepyhead had said was true or if he was taking advantage of the situation to slack off, but he did not know how to respond to it either.
Without a choice, he could only look at the others before instructing everyone. “Let’s return first and report to our superiors.”

This night was never meant to be a silent one, and it was just starting.
Shiella was continuously receiving reports from all sides, filtering all the information, and analyzing everything. The gears of her brain were working on overdrive, looking for more clues.
She did not know why, but she kept having a bad feeling despite everything going quite well.
They had already caught up with the agents of the Black Serpent Mafia and their partners, the Voidwalker Tribe, on the trade that was supposed to take place on the harbor. Their reinforcements were unexpectedly the Green Family, who were waiting at the shore for quite some time already.
They had launched an ambush after coordinating with her club, the Hand of Midas, along with the people that the Springfield Family and the Flying Dragon Corporation had sent for this operation.
They were still far from stealing the package from the opposing side, but the battle was still going, which was slowly tilting toward their favor.
Meanwhile, the other side of the operation, which was being headed by the Magic Ace Academy, particularly the Sleeping Dragons and Wings of Dawn, was also in a stable state.
Even though they had lost track of the moments of the other parties, it was confirmed that the World Government and the local forces of the Sun-Moon Continent were already in hot pursuit.
Given all the circumstances, it would not take long before more agents of the Black Serpent Mafia and members of the Voidwalker Tribes would be captured.
Even a notorious criminal like Belladonna would have a hard time shaking off her pursuers despite her strength.
But despite all these, Shiella was still having a nagging feeling that something was amiss. There seemed to be something that they had overlooked somewhere.
Shiella was swiftly tapping the keyboard before her while also constantly sweeping her gaze at all the reports and live feeds that she was receiving from all sides.
When she was about to gain a breakthrough and find what she was looking for, her entire body suddenly shuddered.
“Found you~!”
It was also at this moment that she heard a chilling voice inside the room.
Without any hint of hesitation, Shiella swiftly jumped off from her seat and quickly erupted in power.
Igniting both her Flame Emperor Force and Ice Spirit Force to the fullest, Shiella produced a massive explosion that blew up the entire place.

Shiella did not even care about what happened to the safehouse and swiftly retreated.

But right before she could even get far, she could not help but halt her tracks. It was because she saw Butcher before her while dragging Anna, who was completely beaten up, by her hair.
“Bastard!” cursed Shiella while glaring fiercely at Butcher.
She now realized what she had overlooked during this time and where the nagging feeling was coming from. Butcher had never made any appearances in any of the battlefields, which made it very suspicious.
She thought that this guy was only overseeing everything and waiting for the right opportunity to move once an unexpected change occurred in either of the battlefields.
But she was wrong to assume that this guy would be stationed on either of the operations.
It seemed like Butcher was targeting her from the very beginning.
Butcher grinned widely as he looked at her. “Surprised? You don’t expect that we will be targeting the young miss of the Springfield Family despite our operation, do you?”
“This is indeed not according to our plan. But who would have thought that the Springfield Family would suddenly cooperate with the Green Family, who is their archrival?”
“We must make some adjustments after learning about this. We must create some leverage for ourselves that can help us escape our predicament.”
“Don’t you think you are the perfect target for this?” he added.
However, he could not help but raise his brows a little after not receiving any response from Shiella. Aside from the sharp and fierce glare that she was giving him, she was not showing that much of a reaction.
Realizing something, Butcher made a snap before pulling Anna up while still holding her by her hair. “Ah! You are enraged because of this woman? Tsk! Tsk! She is indeed tricky to deal with. If not for our preparations ahead of time, then we have most likely alerted those troublesome people that you have brought.”
Shiella tightened her fist, almost digging her nails into her palms, after seeing how Butcher treated Anna.
“Auntie,” she mumbled, which almost sounded like a growl.
Seemingly hearing her, Anna opened her eyes with great difficulty and responded stutteringly. “Y-young miss-… run-…”
Seeing this scene, Butcher further widened his grin before slightly waving Anna like a doll. “You want me to spare this woman, right? My condition is simple, and I am sure that you are already aware of it, given your intelligence.”
Right at the same time, someone suddenly walked out from the collapsed building, which was still in the mixture of blazing fire and chilling frost.
“What is the point of negotiating with her? Let’s capture her directly and kill that bitch guard,” said this person while patting his clothes to wipe off the dust from his body.
“Tsk! Tsk!” Butcher clicked his tongue repeatedly when he heard this before responding. “You don’t understand, Spellbreaker. This girl is a princess of both the Springfield Family and the Levina Family. Do you think that she doesn’t have any treasure to protect herself?”
“Just catch her,” said Spellbreaker, and was about to catch Shiella.
However, before he could even make his move, he suddenly noticed that the necklace that Shiella was wearing was glowing quite intensely. This halted his tracks, especially when he could sense an overwhelming threat coming from that necklace.
He wanted to use his ’Authority’ to affect the surrounding laws, but he realized that his Mental Energy was unable to approach Shiella at all.
“Tsk! Tsk! Quite tricky indeed,” he said after realizing the situation.
Even for someone like him, who was a Venerable Realm Mentalist, he could feel immense pressure coming from that little accessory.
“Heh!” Butcher scoffed when he saw this before turning back at Shiella. “Young Miss, what do you think? Care to compromise?”
Shiella continued to glare at Butcher while also looking at Anna in his hands before replying. “How can I be sure that you will not kill her once I come with you?”
Butcher was about to respond when he suddenly noticed something. He then smirked and released his powerful aura. Even if it could not do anything to Shiella, it still destroyed all kinds of devices in the surroundings, including even his communication device.
This further cut off the connection between this place, which was sealed by the Mental Energy Domain, and the outside world.
“Don’t play tricks with me. Do you think I will not notice your little actions? They are just useless attempts,” he smirked as he looked at the falling pieces of the broken device from Shiella.
Shiella did not respond despite a bit of distress that she was feeling. She knew that she was currently cornered, but she was still confident that she could run away from these two powerful experts by relying on the treasures that she had gotten from her family.
She was also a Void Manifestation Expert now, so they would not be able to deal with her that easily.
But once she did that, Anna would be killed without a doubt.
Sheilla was also quite confused about how these two managed to sneak into this place when the entire perimeter was currently guarded by the forces under her.
There was also a senior at the Domain Realm in disguise among those guards. They must have realized something was wrong right after she had lost contact with them, but there was not even a single movement outside the Mentalism Barrier that was sealing the entire place.
“That was unless-…” She seemed to have released something, which was instantly caught by Butcher.
He then started grinning and confirmed her thoughts. “That’s right. That Domain Realm Expert that you have brought is currently occupied with a Voidwalker friend that we have brought.”
“So, it is useless to buy more time now,” he added along with a ferocious grin.
“You sure look highly of me to bring three experts of such level just for my capture,” commented Shiella while gritting her teeth.
