Chapter 1479: Chapter 1479: Gray Immortal’s Terror

A young man in a gray robe, with shifty brows and beady rat eyes, silently appeared inside the side courtyard. He walked in a sneaky, furtive way, and had completely restrained his Super Divine Dragon Breath.

"One of the Shaman Eight Immortals?"

Seeing this gray-robed youth, Ye Yun blinked and recalled his background.

The gray-robed youth was the Gray Immortal, whose true form was a big gray rat.

The Gray Immortal’s status wasn’t high; among the Shaman Eight Immortals he ranked dead last, utterly incomparable to Liu Xian.

The Gray Immortal tiptoed about, but his speed wasn’t slow, and he quickly drew near Little Color’s room.

"Little Color cursed out the Shaman Eight Immortals before; I’m afraid she’s earned their grudge..."

Ye Yun smiled faintly without giving anything away.

He had no intention of intervening; the Gray Immortal making a move on Little Color was basically brandishing a broadsword in front of Guan Gong.

A minor Gray Immortal, merely at the Eighth Level of Divine Emperor Boundary—how could he possibly be a match for God-Emperor Realm Little Color?

A maidservant walked over from afar and happened to see the Gray Immortal.

The Gray Immortal pointed in midair, and the little maidservant immediately fainted.

"Damn it, there’s always some eyesore getting in the way..."

The Gray Immortal cursed inwardly. His body lightly spun in place, instantly turning into a wisp of gray mist that sank into the ground.

Ye Yun had been watching all of this the whole time. Seeing the Gray Immortal enter the earth, he couldn’t help but laugh.

Rats love digging holes.

This kind of earth-attribute Escaping Technique——this counted as an Innate Divine Ability too.

The Gray Immortal didn’t break in through the door, but tunneled in from underground; that alone showed he’d long gotten used to this less-than-upstanding way of doing things.

Ye Yun closed his eyes and stopped paying attention to the matter.

A little Gray Immortal—just let Little Color handle him herself.

After returning to the room, Little Color didn’t engage in Cultivation, but sat in front of the mirror, primping and dressing herself.

So when the Gray Immortal appeared, Little Color naturally noticed.

She stayed calm and gave nothing away.

When the Gray Immortal reached the door and knocked out that little maidservant, Little Color’s expression grew a bit complicated.

"Well, well, so this little rat’s target is me?"

Little Color chuckled, finally understanding why.

She had once berated the Shaman Eight Immortals; now that Gray Immortal, one of the Shaman Eight Immortals, was sneaking into her room, he was most likely here to take revenge.

"Happens I’m bored anyway; might as well play a little game with this rat."

Little Color let out a strange smile, pretended to be unaware, and kept her eyes on her reflection in the mirror, making no move to attack the gray mist rising up from the floor.

The gray mist reshaped itself into the Gray Immortal, a youth with thieving brows and a rat-like face.

"Gray Immortal, what are you doing in my room?"

Little Color looked at the Gray Immortal in the mirror and deliberately spoke in a tone of terror.

"Heh heh heh..."

The Gray Immortal stood with his hands behind his back, letting out a weird laugh.

"Oh my, little flower girl, you’re really pretty. This Immortal’s taken a fancy to you—how about coming out to have some fun with me?"

"You’re like a weasel paying New Year’s greetings to a hen—no way you’ve got good intentions."

Little Color frowned and turned her whole body around.

"Heh heh, you little flower girl have quite some guts, daring to curse out us Shaman Eight Immortals! Luckily I spoke a few good words on your behalf, otherwise you’d have long been killed by them!"

The Gray Immortal folded his arms across his chest, grinning cheekily as he spoke.

"I’m Liu Xian’s guest. You dare lay hands on me without permission?"

Little Color smiled fearlessly, full of confidence.

"Liu Xian is only ranked third; above him are the Dominating Immortal and Fox Immortal!"

The Gray Immortal shook his head. A trace of ferocity flashed in his eyes as he suddenly thrust out a hand, sending a streak of gray mist shooting forth.

That gray mist formed a circular ring, enclosing Little Color within it.

"Let’s go!"

The Gray Immortal barked lightly, then took Little Color with him as he drilled into the ground, using his Escaping Technique to depart from Snake-shaped Mountain.

His cultivation was about on par with Liu Xian’s, and he specialized in concealment. To infiltrate Liu Xian’s side courtyard by such unexpected means and abduct someone, even Liu Xian wouldn’t notice.

On a rat-shaped mountain range sat clusters of buildings, though most of them weren’t very large.

This was Rat-shaped Mountain.

Rat-shaped Mountain’s largest building was the underground palace deep below the surface.

A cloud of gray mist surged up, and two figures appeared inside the underground palace.

"We greet Lord Gray Immortal."

Several maidservants bowed to the Gray Immortal.

"All of you, leave. You’re in the way."

The Gray Immortal waved his hand, speaking impatiently.

"Yes, my lord!"

The few maidservants lowered their heads and obediently withdrew. The underground palace went empty, leaving only the Gray Immortal and Little Color.

Little Color looked around the underground palace with interest, clicking her tongue as she said, "As expected of a rat, really likes hiding underground..."

"What would a little girl like you know? Underground is warm in winter and cool in summer, extremely quiet—this is the perfect holy land for Cultivation!"

The Gray Immortal glared, retorting irritably.

"Is that so?" Little Color gazed at the Gray Immortal, smiling calmly. "Why did you bring me here? What exactly do you mean by this?"

"Flower girl, you’re so pretty—how about becoming my Dao companion?"

The thieving, rat-eyed Gray Immortal slowly walked over, taking off his clothes as he went, his face full of lecherous grin.

Little Color’s eyes widened.

What a rat with guts bigger than the sky, actually daring to touch her.

Originally, Little Color had thought this rat would drag her outside to kill her; she hadn’t expected to be wrong.

Turns out this guy wanted to have his way with her.

How could that not infuriate the proud Little Color?

Smack!

The gray ring that had been restraining Little Color instantly snapped apart.

Little Color regained her freedom.

The Gray Immortal abruptly halted his steps, speaking in disbelief, "How were you able to break my binding Divine Skills?"

"What’s so hard about that?"

Little Color let out a cold laugh and suddenly raised a hand.

On her palm was a round suction cup, all fleshy, looking somewhat eerie.

What the hell is that?

Seeing that fleshy suction cup, the Gray Immortal was startled as well.

But his reaction was extremely fast—he raised a hand and fired a streak of gray light, sharp as a Sword, stabbing toward that suction cup.

At the same time, his whole body suddenly turned into a mass of gray mist, splitting into three streams of gray fog that sank into the earth.

Smack!

Little Color lightly slapped with her hand, shattering that streak of gray light.

She glanced around, then smiled unhurriedly. "Gray Immortal, you’re one of the Shaman Eight Immortals—why are you running away already?"

"Flower girl, just who are you? Why have you come to my Shamanism, and what is your true purpose?"

In the empty underground palace, the Gray Immortal’s sharp questioning voice echoed everywhere.

The sound was ethereal, omnipresent, making it impossible to pinpoint his location.

"Heh, Gray Immortal, hiding your head and showing your tail like this—you think I can’t do anything to you?"

Little Color ignored his questions; instead, her expression chilled as she let out a cold laugh.

Whoosh——

The suction cup on her outstretched palm suddenly activated, an unimaginable suction force bursting forth from it.

Swish swish...

Streams of gray mist were drawn in from all directions, sucked onto the suction cup, finally condensing into a gray-robed youth with a thieving rat-like face.

"Th-this... how is this possible?"

Clamped by the suction cup, the Gray Immortal kept twisting his body, shouting in terror.

What kind of Divine Skills was this?

It had actually dragged him out so easily!

"What’s impossible? In my eyes, you’re nothing but an ant."

Little Color sneered.

"You... could it be you’re a Half-step God Emperor Powerhouse?"

The Gray Immortal painfully turned his head, staring at Little Color in utter dread.

As one of the illustrious Shaman Eight Immortals, his strength was formidable—far beyond an ordinary Eighth Level of Divine Emperor Boundary. In this world, only Half-step God Emperor Powerhouses could make the Gray Immortal lose all ability to resist in a single exchange.
