Chapter 341: Chapter 213: Both Father and Son Have Become Scumbags, It’s Over

Soon, the bus arrived.

The two of them got on and sat together.

Wen Wan didn’t say anything, just looked out the window with a faint smile playing on her lips.

When they arrived at the entrance to the amusement park, Jiang Sifan saw the long line and said to Wen Wan, "You rest here. I’ll go wait in line for the tickets."

But Wen Wan suddenly grabbed his sleeve, her face flushing as she said, "Class President, I’ll go buy them."

"No, I’ll get them. How can I let a girl pay when we’re out having fun?" Jiang Sifan said with a slight start, explaining with a smile.

Wen Wan shook her head, her face crimson, but her tone was firm. "I have to be the one to buy these two tickets."

Jiang Sifan looked at her.

Wen Wan continued, her voice a little quiet but very earnest, "Class President, you’ve always helped me so much. You gave me the chance to join the workshop, helped me with so many problems, and even brought me out to have fun... I’m so incredibly grateful. Today, please just let me treat you this one time, okay?"

Hearing her words, Jiang Sifan was suddenly touched.

"Alright, it’s your treat then," he said, nodding with a happy smile.

Wen Wan’s eyes lit up, and a shy smile bloomed on her face.

She trotted over to the ticket booth, her ponytail bobbing like the tail of a happy little rabbit.

Jiang Sifan stood where he was, watching her back.

She was wearing tight-fitting jeans that hugged her long, straight legs.

As she jogged, the lines of her legs became even more distinct—well-proportioned and toned, without a hint of excess fat.

Her ponytail swayed from side to side with her steps, revealing a sliver of her fair neck.

Her figure was the healthy kind—not skinny, but perfectly full.

Her waist was slender, made to look even more so by her white, long-sleeved shirt.

When she ran, her whole body seemed light and full of life.

As Jiang Sifan watched, he found he couldn’t look away.

He thought of He Lingyi, of her liveliness and boldness.

But Wen Wan was different. Her beauty was introverted and quiet, like a flower blooming in secret.

Soon, Wen Wan finished buying the tickets and jogged back. She handed one to Jiang Sifan, panting as she said, "Class President, here... for you."

Jiang Sifan took the ticket, pleased. "Great. Let’s go, then."

The two had their tickets checked and entered the amusement park.

Since it was Sunday, the park was crowded. There were parents with their children everywhere, as well as couples holding hands. Screams, laughter, and music all blended together into a lively cacophony.

It was Wen Wan’s first time in a place like this, and her eyes were wide with wonder.

She looked all around, her eyes full of curiosity as she gazed at the colorful rides and the small stalls selling cotton candy and balloons.

Jiang Sifan led her to the carousel and pointed at the bustling crowd. "The merry-go-round. Want to ride it?"

Wen Wan blushed slightly and nodded.

They walked over to wait in line.

There were quite a few children lined up for the carousel, all with their parents.

Watching the kids, Wen Wan said, a little embarrassed, "Class President, it seems to be all children..."

Jiang Sifan laughed. "It’s fine. Who says adults can’t ride it?"

When it was their turn, Wen Wan chose a white horse and carefully climbed on.

Jiang Sifan chose the one next to her.

The music started, and the carousel began to turn.

Wen Wan was nervous at first, her body stiff as she gripped the pole tightly with both hands.

Seeing her like that, Jiang Sifan couldn’t help but laugh.

"Wen Wan, relax. You’re not going to fall off," he said.

Wen Wan’s face grew redder. "I... it’s my first time," she answered quietly.

She had, after all, grown up in the countryside before moving to the county town for high school.

She’d never had the chance to experience an amusement park, something only found in big cities.

Watching her, Jiang Sifan suddenly thought of He Lingyi again.

’If it were He Lingyi, she would have been shouting with excitement already, probably even striking all sorts of poses for photos.’

He took out his phone and said to Wen Wan, "Come on, smile. Let me take a picture of you."

"N-No, that’s okay, Class President. I’m not photogenic..." Hearing this, Wen Wan froze for a moment and quickly waved her hands.

But Jiang Sifan insisted, "It’s fine. It would be a shame not to capture such a happy moment."

Wen Wan hesitated for a moment, then slowly held up two fingers in a tentative peace sign.

Her face was red, her eyes darted about, and she looked as self-conscious as a child who had done something wrong.

Jiang Sifan pressed the shutter and glanced at the photo.

In the picture, Wen Wan’s face was flushed and her smile was shy, but her eyes were bright. She looked especially beautiful.

He handed her the phone to show her. "See? It’s a great picture."

Wen Wan looked at the photo, the corners of her mouth turning up in a smile that was part shyness, part happiness.

Watching her, Jiang Sifan felt a wave of emotion.

’If it were He Lingyi, she would have already crowded in to see the picture, grabbed my hand, and said, "Take another one, take another one!"’

But Wen Wan just looked on quietly, a faint smile on her lips.

’The two girls really are so different.’

...

After the carousel, Jiang Sifan took Wen Wan to the bumper cars.

The bumper car arena was packed, with cars crashing into each other left and right amidst a chorus of shrieks.

Wen Wan stood on the outside looking in, her eyes a mixture of nervousness and eagerness.

Jiang Sifan asked her, "Want to give it a try?"

Wen Wan nodded, then shook her head shyly. "I... I don’t know how to drive..."

Jiang Sifan smiled. "It’s fine. You don’t need to know how to drive a bumper car. You just crash into things. You hit others, they hit you. As long as you’re having fun, that’s all that matters."

After hearing this, Wen Wan nodded, but the nervousness on her face didn’t lessen one bit.
