"Brother Haoran, I don't need an explanation. I know you must have your reasons," Ji Lingxuan said in a heavy tone. "I'm here to tell you something. Xue Ling has been imprisoned!"

"What!" At Ji Lingxuan's words, Shen Haoran shot upright in bed. The muscles all over his body bulged, making him look like an enraged lion. Even though he didn't want to see Xue Ling, she was still the first woman he had ever been intimate with. That made her his woman. And now, she had been imprisoned. This had undoubtedly touched Shen Haoran's Reversed Scale!

"What happened?" Shen Haoran's face darkened as he snarled in a low voice.

"After you got into trouble, Xue Ling left the Northern Domain and traveled to the Eastern Domain alone to find you," Ji Lingxuan explained. "She didn't know where to begin, so she searched town by town. When she reached the southern part of the Eastern Domain, she was discovered by a faction called the Ten Thousand Snakes Cave, and they captured her. I only just heard about it from Uncle Hei and rushed over to tell you!"
