Chaos Heaven-Dominating Technique
Chapter 620 - 615: A Fit of Rage for a Beauty
Deep within a valley nestled among countless mountains, a village lay hidden. The Heaven and Earth Spiritual Power in this valley was exceptionally rich, and a faint white mist drifted through the village, making it seem as ethereal as an Immortal Realm.
In front of the village gate, two shifty-eyed, blond Martial Artists leaned against the gate posts, a bottle of strong liquor in hand, chatting enjoyably with one another.
"Wouldn’t it be nice to live like this every day? Sippin’ on some wine, enjoyin’ the breeze, and goin’ back to a pretty lady later... Tsk, tsk. Ah, just thinkin’ about it feels good!" one of the blond Martial Artists said, taking a swig of his liquor and squinting his eyes.
"Hah! For an ugly bastard, you sure have some nice dreams. These days won’t last much longer. Haven’t you heard what the new Clan Leader said? We have to find those bastards from the Fox Race who killed the old Clan Leader. Most of our Rat Race’s Martial Artists have already been sent out, but there’s still no word. I bet it won’t be long before we have to go too!" the other blond Martial Artist said, shaking his head.
"Bro, you’re overthinking it. Most of the Fox Race are already injured. Plus, the White Tiger Clan—one of Central City’s Four Great Divine Beast Families—is closing in on them. There’s no way they can escape. Just relax and watch the gate," the first Martial Artist said, shooting his companion a sideways glance before taking another drink.
"I don’t know about that. You saw that woman from the Fox Race that day, didn’t you? She killed the old Clan Leader even after being hit with a poison like the Bloodthirsty Godslaying Powder. That alone proves how strong she is. Finding them all is going to be difficult!" The other blond Martial Artist frowned. The image of Lady Ya killing their old Clan Leader flashed through his mind, and he couldn’t help but shudder at the memory.
"They’re just a bunch of women. But I gotta admit, those Fox Race broads are real lookers. That slender waist, that pretty face, that skin... Tsk, tsk, tsk!" A greedy glint flashed in the first Martial Artist’s eyes, and he couldn’t stop a bit of drool from trickling down his chin.
Hearing this, his companion’s face flushed as well.
"I’m afraid you two will never have the chance to find out in this lifetime." Just as the two blond Martial Artists were lost in their fantasies, an icy voice suddenly rang in their ears. It was like a whisper from the Nine Netherworld, causing the hair on their bodies to stand on end and a cold sweat to instantly drench their clothes.
The two blond Martial Artists turned their heads mechanically, only to be met by the sight of two large hands shooting out to seize them by the throat. An immense force lifted both of them off the ground.
The person who had appeared behind them was, of course, Shen Haoran. He gazed coldly at the two men, having overheard their entire conversation. The moment he heard them speak of Lady Ya, a murderous rage had surged through him, and he could no longer hold back from striking.
"Tell me, if I cut *that part* of you off, I wonder if your minds would still be filled with such thoughts?" Shen Haoran drawled, a wicked smile playing on his lips. Behind him, two pitch-black vortexes slowly materialized. From within them, a pair of sharp longswords gradually emerged, their tips aimed directly at the men’s crotches. ’How dare they have such vile thoughts about Lady Ya? I absolutely will not tolerate it.’
Feeling the piercing aura emanating from the sword tips, both men instinctively squeezed their legs together. They stared at Shen Haoran in utter terror. This youth’s silent appearance had already scared them half to death, but now, with two sharp longswords aimed at their most vital parts, they felt as if their world was ending.
"W-Who are you?" one of the blond Martial Artists asked, forcing the words out through his terror.
Hearing the man’s question, Shen Haoran stared directly into his eyes and spoke flatly, "I’m here to collect a debt." His icy gaze pierced the blond Martial Artist’s soul. In that instant, the man felt as if he wasn’t facing a young man at all, but an Ancient Fierce Beast about to go on a rampage.
WHOOSH... The moment the words left Shen Haoran’s lips, the two longswords behind him shot forward without warning, piercing straight through the men’s groins. A spray of pale yellow fluid and fresh blood erupted. Intense pain caused veins to bulge all over the two Martial Artists’ bodies, but before they could even cry out, the blades reversed course and sliced off their heads.
’Hmph. This is only the beginning.’ Pitch-black flames flared up around Shen Haoran, instantly vaporizing the blood that had spattered onto his clothes.
Then, the Vermilion Bird Wings on Shen Haoran’s back slowly unfurled. He began to rise, and a moment later, he was hovering in mid-air, looking down upon the Golden Rat Race’s village with a face devoid of any emotion.
"Look, what’s that?"
"A person? He’s using Sky-Soaring Void Step! Is that a Spirit Emperor Powerhouse?"
"Who goes there! This is the territory of the Golden Rat Race! We request that you descend and state your business!"
"Quick, go inform the Clan Leader!"
Shen Haoran wasn’t flying very high, and with his icy killing intent completely undisguised, every Martial Artist in the Golden Rat Race quickly noticed him. In an instant, the entire clan erupted into an uproar.
Shen Haoran gazed down indifferently at the scene below. He spread his palms, and two Spirit Seeds—one black, one yellow—suddenly materialized, dancing like flames in his hands. They were the Spirit Seeds of two different Heaven and Earth Spirits.
